I was stoked to see the Northern UT expansion for Tokyo Tower! A greatly appreciated move. Top Shelf 100%.

Don't gauge by the parking because it's within walking distance of several neighborhoods. Lunch specials with loads of options and large portions. Plenty of inside seating and a sushi bar also. Little bit of everything, Chinese, sushi and a Thai curry, Japanese bentos and donburi. Service and staff are so welcoming. DoorDash table as soon as you walk in, loaded up with orders. This place is a favorite go to, no doubt.

The batter tasted like year old baking grease. They have a decent selection of sushi rolls, but the 2 I got sucked. Tiger eye, tasted like the cooking grease mentioned earlier. Barf I got a really spicy roll that was mid, but I'd never order again. I could go on, but I won't. Trust me, hard pass if you like sushi. Probably good if you're a high school kid that has never had sushi before. Sorry small business owner, but I was disappointed. The floors were dirty, none of the tables wiped clean. I hope things turn around.

I blame Google map not the restaurant. Most of the customers ordered pho the evening we were there, but I thought I should try something different, so we had Garlic Butter Wings (really juicy and very buttery); calamari (nice portion, but very greasy) Thai basil mango shrimp salad (my favorite dish of the evening, but it's a small portion and cost $20! ) AP Choe is crispy flat noodle, but againA, the price and the quantity/ quantity, none of them wow me. With 4 dishes plus tips, I spend more than $100!! How?!

I hope that more people discover this fine restaurant. The restaurant is classy in all details. Interior, dinnerware, service. All food is carefully crafted and delights the taste buds. Well balanced. We first tried this place when it was very young and I hoped that more would discover it. So glad that many have. It is one of the finer restaurants on the Wasatch Front, not just one of the finer Asian restaurants. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I had dinner at Bowls and Cheers and honestly... this place is a hidden gem. A full 10/10…read moreexperience. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, and deeply personal. It's a family-run restaurant with an open kitchen, so you can see every dish being prepared right in front of you. It doesn't feel like a typical restaurant--it feels like you've been invited into their home. And what truly sets this place apart is the people behind it. The father took the time to walk us through the menu and explain each dish in detail. The mother shared the cultural and historical inspiration behind the plates, connecting the food back to the Philippines in such a meaningful way. Their son served us with professionalism and genuine kindness. You can feel the pride, love, and intention in everything they do. What we ordered: Pork Lumpia with Sweet Chili Sauce - perfectly crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Sizzlin' OINK Sisig - served hot with an egg on top... bold, savory, and absolutely addictive. Lechon OINKawali - crispy pork belly done right: crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Pancit Noodles - THE BEST NOODLES EVER!!!! And for dessert: Banana - Bowlicious - fried plantains tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle... the perfect sweet finish. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the fried sweet plantain banana desert but I have to say that the flavor still lingers in my mouth and my heart! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The sauces are clearly made from scratch, and the flavors are rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. And the value? Unbeatable. We ordered appetizers, three main dishes, and two desserts and the bill left me speechless in a good way :) If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine with heart, story, and flavor this is the place. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing last dinner in Utah! I will absolutely be back.

Went down on a Saturday when traffic was light and easily found the restaurant in a strip mall with lots of parking. The family running the restaurant is helpful and friendly! It's a small restaurant with about 8 good size tables. A awesome menu including desserts! We got : Jam Bowl Loco - it's a healthy scoop of rice - 1/2 lb brisket burger w/ a fried egg and brown gravy all over! Hubby said best loco moco he has ever had which is saying a lot since he's has a few hundred under his belt! I got the pork BBQ Skewers (4) served with garlic fried rice and a papaya salad. I loved the BBQ pork lots of flavor and eaten with the rice and salad it was excellent! I enjoyed this dish very much and would order it again . We also got the pork lumpia which was a great start to our meal. Due to the long drive and the yummy food we decided to order the chicken adobo bowl as a take out. I can't wait to have it for dinner! Vanessa was the friendliest person she and her husband own and run the restaurant plus do the cooking. She told us they do have specials and rotate their dishes which is an awesome idea for frequent visitors. It was a great trip - no traffic - awesome food- a great little excursion

I chose this location…read morebecause it's a bit easier to get to through traffic than the other locations in the area. This one is a bit newer also. They are located in a strip mall with a shared parking lot. I ordered from the phone app so I could use the coupon that only allowed for a Cupbop bowl which comes with 2 meats, white rice, Korean sweet potato noodles, and cabbage. I opted to get the Koko (Korean chicken) and Piggy (spicy Korean BBQ pork) meat selections, noodles and cabbage, but skipped the rice. I also ordered the Sauce #1 (Bulgogi and Lime Mayo) on the side. It was fairly quick on preparation and I didn't have to wait long upon arrival to pick it up. The staff wasn't overly friendly when I walked up to the counter, and they confused me by asking the name on my order and then handing the bag in their hand to another person. I also discovered upon receiving my order, that they did not put the sauce on the side like I requested even though the printed ticket they used to prepare the meal included the statement "sauce on the side". They correctly left off the rice however. I took my order to go. There isn't really anywhere to sit and eat inside the store. I really enjoyed the sweet potato noodles, and the sauce was sweet and very tasty. The chicken didn't seem to have much flavor but is was very tender and easy to eat. The spicy pork had a lot of flavor, but wasn't too spicy for me. I tend to be a wimp with spice levels. I liked the sauce mixed with the cabbage since this reminded me of sweet cole slaw. I really like the food at Cupbop, but was disappointed that they didn't honor my order requests. I will continue to patronize Cupbop.
