Adobo

The wings are huge so 12 pcs was plenty for our party of three. Legitimately the best wings I've eaten. Got the 12 pc wings with tamarind sauce (highly recommend). We got the sisig, chicken adobo, and cheers a joy. Everything was really good, especially the sisig. Awesome service from the crew and we even had the opportunity to taste some of the sauces they were thinking of adding to the menu. Place was lively, restrooms super clean, and really cool to see the family-owned business owners working together. Our table was greeted immediately when walking in and we were checked in on several times during our meal. Staff was also observant in offering us wipes and water refills. Also plenty of boardgames and even karaoke for a fun night out.

Pork Adobo So Gata

Love trying something new and different and this is something I'd never had before. We started with the pork lumpia, crispy deep fried egg roles, with a tangy sweet sauce with a tiny kick, very good. My wife ordered the Pork Adobo Sa Gata, great flavorful, tender pork ribs over a bowl of rice, finished with coconut milk. I had the Sizzling Pork Sisig, pork belly, cooked on a skillet, with a raw egg that you mix in and cooks itself over the skillet. So much flavor! Comes with a side of rice that helps sop up the juiciness and flavor. The owners, Venessa and her husband were awesome and so friendly. We will be back to try the chicken.

How lucky I feel to live so close to Bowls and Cheers! We had the lumpia, sisig, and spaghetti and fried chicken. So good! Everything was so flavorful and the service was impeccable. The owners were and absolute joy to speak with. Bonus, they have karaoke!

Oink. Plate is hot... egg cooks when you mix it. So good.

The food is absolutely incredible. The people here are like family and it is just happy feeling eating here. I really wish this was in my area. This would be at the top of my list in this area.

Great new addition to Syracuse. We have had Filipino dishes elsewhere and were excited to try these. The lumpia and their take on sisig were wonderful. We preferred the tables in back, farther away from the music speakers. Very attentive service by our server, and the owner came by to check on us and explain their approach. The adobo chicken wings were a miss for us, but there are plenty of options for our next visit.

The passion for flavorful food this family exudes is contagious. Excellent food quality, service, attention to detail, and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

Best food ever!!

The food and the service here are both amazing! This is definitely a place the local community needs to support!

Ube flan

10/10 would recommend. A place you will remember eating at for their yummy food. First time trying sisig and would for sure order again with some rice and add a soup with it would pair perfect, which the owner provided a small cup of broth for me to try. Flan selection for the day was ube and this flan is a flan I will remember forever. Smooth taste and not the instant sugar taste most desserts have. The perfect not too sweet dessert making you want another slice or the slice be bigger. They told me they rotate flavors so there are others as well so depends what the flavor is of the day. Super nice staff 10/10 service. Owner super cool. Nice little place with kitchen right there so you kinda see and hear the action. Pretty clean and well maintained. Overall 5 star well deserved.

Two Texans very happy and full of good food and new friends!

A place you'll never forget!! My husband and I are from out of town and looking for something different from the norm. We found this place online and thought since we've never heard of it before we'd try it. As soon as you walk in you see chefs behind the counter working on their sizzling food. The smell of spices filled your nostrils and your stomach starts to growl anxious to taste whatever they are making. The chefs were performing a well orchestrated dance moving from one side to another shouting meal up once their dance was finished. As we sat on the wood bench that was filled with pillows for those with tender bottoms, or to lean on for those aching backs you could tell the owners wanted you to feel comfortable and at home. The waiter kindly explains to this newbie of Filipino food, what the strange, to me, names were of these dishes I was excited to try. Having a non-sophisticated palate to this type of food I asked her what her favorite dish was. As she was describing the dish she closed her eyes and described it in what I thought was great detail. I saw her mouth almost salivate as the words came out as she tilted her head up toward the sky her hands came together and this pleasant smile came over her face. Without hesitation I said I want that. If a dish can make her feel like that I had to try it, even if I had no idea what I was really getting. My husband who is not as adventurous as I am got a simple dish of pork sewers with fried rice. So we sat waiting ooing and awing obviously looking at other peoples plates as they came sizzling and steaming to their tables wondering what that was and salivating over how delicious they all looked. As we sat there we noticed that as each table got their food the woman cook, who we figured was the owner, came out and spoke to the people. She had a huge smile on her face and was very vivacious making sure everyone was enjoying their food and having a good time. She came out to one table with some sort of special dish and started singing happy birthday along with two other cooks. When our plates finally came I sat looking at mine wondering what in the world did I get. It definitely didn't make my mouth salivate and as I looked over at my husband's plate I considered swapping since he picked the restaurant but I decided since I was the adventurous one I would go ahead and eat it. To be honest as I ate my first piece of fried pork belly that I dipped into the much more delicious looking sauce I thought to myself this waiter must have pulled a fast one on me or she has a very different palate than I do. I did my best to eat what I could and then I bowed out and said I'm done. I calmly sat back and waited for my husband to finish when this very bubbly, happy, beautiful Filipino woman sits down very close to me. As I turn to look at her very big smile she says "So how was it?" Now I'm not the kind of person that just blurts out how I feel about something so I kindly say "Well, it's not my cup of tea." Her smile is immediately gone as she says "No?" I tried to tell her kindly I wasn't sure what I was getting and I didn't realize it was mostly fried fat. She begins to describe what it all was and how it was a traditional Filipino food. She then tells me she will make me a whole new dish herself and she knows I will like this one. After a few more prompts from her promising I will like it I said ok I'll try. It only took about 10 minutes and with this big smile on her face she sat it down in front of me. It smelled fabulous, and yes I began to drool, but I wasn't sure how to eat it. I looked up at her and she said "Yes just get your hands in there and eat it up". So I did! My mouth exploded with flavor!!! Sweet, savory, tangy all in one! She was not lying when she said I'd love it!! As we visited with her she introduced her husband, who was also a cook and they began telling us their story and how they've only been open 8 months. I urge you to go try Bowls and Cheers and you will leave full, satisfied and full of smiles and warm hearts.

After reading the Yelp reviews and hearing such positive things about Q One Noodles & BBQ, I…read morethought, I have GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE!! In regards to instructions being followed, this restaurant gets an A++++! Now let's get to my meal... I ordered the C4: BB & SAEU (steak and shrimp). This particular combo comes with white rice and mixed veggies. You can mix and match for a small additional fee (i.e. Ramen noodles and fried rice, etc...please refer to their menu for different combo options and prices). I opted for just steak & shrimp with ONLY fresh veggies and my sauces on the side. Q-One did oblige with all of that and let me try out all 4 sauces (on the side, btw, just as I requested), that they offer which are: Q-One Tepanyaki sauce Bulgogi sauce Srichacha Chili Paste The mixed veggies concluded of stir fried sliced green cabbage. The combo itself was flavorful even prior to the dressing. The stir fried cabbage was a bit oily for my taste, but hey, it's Korean, right?! The steak and shrimp were both cooked perfectly. Just smaller portions than what I was expecting. I only received 5 total shrimp and the steak was sliced and diced making it very small and not too much of it either; sadly. The entree was mostly oiled down cabbage minus a whole lot of meat (though it looks like a lot at first as they pack it in all on top). Stir it all around and see for yourself what you end up with. I definitely do plan on eating here again, just not quite sure when. Teriyaki Grill is a lot healthier and gives bigger meat portions. However, when I think of the catastrophe that I received at Cupbop, there's just no way that I would not recommend Q One to anyone and everyone! Side note: All the sauces are delicious! The house (Q-One) is a bit thicker in consistency than the bulgogi but not as sweet tasting. The srichacha is standard and their chili Paste is of a thinner consistency but VERY spicy! I couldn't pick a favorite so there you go :+)

I deeply appreciate that they are willing to modify for dietary restrictions and allergies! They're…read morealways very kind and understanding, and our order is always up super fast. This place is energetic and quick with the orders. Some of the best mall-fare-food here. My go-to is all veggies no rice, paired with a protein. The steak and shrimp is especially tasty. A nice casual stop for a meal break while shopping this holiday season.
