I visited this location on a Wednesday at about 1pm. I went through drive thru, there was no line it was empty when I went. I only ordered fries and zucchini. It took a while to get the food, but I figure they prob just now had to make it fresh because it was a slow time to visit. The service was friendly and the food was GREAT! the zucchini was massive and i didn't even finish it by myself. Only bummer is that it comes w ONE RANCH and I think it's deserving of two FREE dipping sauce. The fries were fresh and delicious as well. It's been a minute since we have been here since the food takes forever to get to you and the order is usually wrong. But my kids were craving icecream, and I wanted a burger, so we tried it out again today. I came with 4 kids and we got our food under 10 minutes so that was awesome. The guy at the register was kind and patient with my kids who couldn't decide what they wanted, and we were all happy with our food. We came at around 1:30 so it was mostly empty. The best part about this place is how much icecream you get. It's a lot for the price. When I try to get creative with my order it's usually wrong but my kids wanted cookie dough and cookies and cream and it was just what they wanted! My only complaint is they crush up the add ins. I wish you got chunks of cookie dough instead of tiny pieces in your icecream. The rodeo burger was really good! Love the thin bun and the massive onion ring. read more

I have had iceberg 3-4x now and it's gotten worse each time. Tonight was the worst yet...My sweet potato fries were chewy, my burger tasted like it was a frozen patty from a elementary cafeteria, and my milkshake was literally just vanilla until the very end of the shake at the bottom their were a couple pieces of butterfinger. I also asked a staff member about a flavor and they said "I don't know". The staff is super unfriendly minus one older gentleman. Not coming back. Telling my friends not to as well. The wait time sucks too. read more

I stopped by Iceberg Drive Inn recently because I'd heard good things and was really craving a classic burger and shake combo. I have to say, the food itself did not disappoint--the burger was tasty, and the shake was thick, sweet, and exactly what I was hoping for. So I really wanted to like this place... but unfortunately, the overall experience made it hard to enjoy. I went through the drive-thru, thinking it'd be quick and easy, but I ended up sitting in line for 32 minutes--which is just crazy, especially when the line wasn't even that long. When I finally got to the window, the staff looked completely out of it. I don't know if they were just tired or something else, but they looked either high, burnt out, or totally checked out. No smiles, no greeting, no "thanks for waiting"--just super low energy and like they didn't want to be there. I understand people have rough days, but when you're working in customer service--especially in food--you expect at least a little friendliness or acknowledgment, especially after such a long wait. The vibe from the staff made the whole visit feel awkward and uncomfortable. It's a shame because the food was actually good. But between the long wait and the awful service, I don't see myself going back. There are plenty of other places to grab a good shake--places where the service matches the quality of the food. Iceberg might have good flavors, but they really need to work on their customer service and speed. read more

The ice creams were very good, many flavors to choose from which is awesome. The ham & cheese sandwich was burned, had to return it and the fried zucchini and onion rings appeared to have been fried a 2nd time. They were very greasy. I would recommend the ice cream just not the food. read more

After living in the area for 5 years we decided to stop by for some ice cream around 8pm. Staff was not too friendly, did not say a word until after I finished my order. Simply ordered cookie dough ice cream and it somehow took over 10 minutes. We were the only ones in the place, when we did get our ice cream we decided to just take it home. The ice cream did not even have cookie dough in it, just chocolate pieces and that was all. Glad we waited 5 years and will not be going back. read more

I purchased two hamburgers and onion rings (drive thru). This is what they both looked like... raw hamburgers when we arrived home. No response from management. You can see that they are not edible. Lettuce looks tastes cooked. read more

Coming from California and passing the area, I had to come here because I read somewhere that this fast food chain is only found in Utah. Tried the number 1 with pumpkin shake. The serving size of the regular shake is gigantic. I've never seen a larger shake. Unfortunately it was so sweet I couldn't finish it. The fries and burger were okay. Overall, nothing really special about this chain. The portion size of the shakes are large, but that's it. Tried it once and that's enough. read more

Shakes are HUGE and delicious. The kids really like it. Not a huge fan of the sandwiches but we love the ice cream. It's really good quality. Staff is fairly friendly. While out for a sunset drive we decided to stop at Iceberg Drive Inn, we had never been to this one. I ordered a mini pistachio shake and my husband a mini strawberry shake. These shakes were huge we had to check our receipt to make sure we ordered minis. Both of our shakes were this unusual vibrant color. His was a bubble gum pink, so pink, hot pink, we laughed about it. Mine was green with pieces of what I thought were neon green pistachios. I was tricked, it was chunks of neon green pineapple. Both tasted so fake and yucky we ended up throwing them away. The pistachio was filled with pineapple chunks, I love pineapple, but that's not what I ordered, it had a faint taste of pistachio with a plastic oder to it, overpowered with pineapple. My husbands strawberry shake tasted like cotton candy, just super sweet with no strawberries. Now we know, we are sticking to Burger Stop for true delicious tasting shakes! read more

Not a good atmosphere. Girl employees had attitude. Waited over 30 min. Burgers and fries not fresh. Showed up around 5:45-6 totally dark out and sonic building lights were off. Go to drive thru menu and those lights are off and can't see anything. End up looking it up on my phone to order. Then wait like 20 min to get to window. Takes them another 20 min to get my order out. Burgers were not hot and fries were cold. Still ate burgers and it was pretty decent. Would have been better while they were fresh. Then I go back in to give them my fries and ask for fresh fries. Idk why all the employees are teenagers talking smack back there about it but they got me fresh fries. The 2 girls kept staring at me and talking on their headsets to the other coworkers and laughing kept on looking at me. Idk I felt bullied and not a good atmosphere. My husband and I were super hungry and I remember this place was good last year so we came here and we were VERY disappointed. Cost was more expensive than Zupas or Cafe Rio (favs of ours) so that just made it worse as we spent so much money on food that we just ended up throwing away. It tasted so old! My husband got fish and fries and he said the fish tasted burnt and the fries were stale. I got chicken tenders and fries and my chicken was rock hard. Compared to that, my fries weren't terrible. But we were incredibly disappointed. Not only that but the girls working were INCREDIBLY rude and sassy. Hated how my husband and I were treated. Not coming back that's for sure. read more

I'm visiting from out of town, and my family and I decided to stop here because the onion rings looked good, and we love onion rings. We came around 11 am, about 30 mins after they opened. As I was looking for a place to sit, I noticed that every single table was dirty. The tops of the booth seats were real dusty. It just didn't feel clean. Also, the high chairs were pretty gross and greasy. The food was okay. I personally wouldn't go back for the food, but maybe I would for the shakes. I had a Jr. Cheeseburger with onion rings. The whole burger was cold and was pretty bland. I could eat a cold burger if it was tasty. The onion rings hardly had any flavor, as if they soaked the onions in water for a few days before breading them. They needed fry sauce to be finished. What really stood out was the terrible service. We had to repeat we wanted a sprite multiple times. The drive through guy dropped our change on the ground and did nothing about it. He then acted put out when we reminded him we had ordered a lemonade we hadn't received. The shakes are ok. Real strawberry is a nice touch however even with the added cookies and cream, it lacked flavor. read more

A great option for ice cream, serving sizes are ginormous (a mini is more than enough to share for two), but the service is AWWWFUL. I wait no less than 15 minutes every.single.time I come here and there is only 2-3 cars ahead of me. That isn't even an exaggeration. Chin-Fil-A can get me through quicker during their most busiest time of day. I should venture to add that when you pay for the special flavors, you aren't getting much of the "flavor" such as Reese's and to add extra is...well, extra. . If they weren't such great flavors and my kids didn't love then as much as they do, I'd find a different source of ice cream. Three stars is being generous for the service provided. read more

Put really simply, it's just not good. I like these small places, especially ones that start in this good ole beautiful state. But man, this place is a let down. We went on the weekend and luckily beat the rush that came 3 minutes after getting there. This place is a gold mine for teenagers who think they are in love. You will soon come to realize that this place is just a disappointment. The burger is dry and had absolutely zero flavor. The shake was just a dollar to add on which was a great deal, but again had zero flavor. I didn't know you could mess up ice cream, but it happened. I ended up throwing out most of my shake. We also got some chicken strips, and those were your typical high school cafeteria chicken strips. DO NOT EAT THIS ON A DATE, you will kill your date with the lovely smells that sneak out. I was real scared I wasn't going to make it back to my house in time, I passed it real quick if you know what I mean. So just beware. read more

Awful. Onion rings had leprosy somehow, seriously they looked disgusting (photo uploaded). First version of the Philly had the opposite of the ingredients requested. Second version had almost no meat or vegetables. Chicken was over cooked in the deep frier by what appeared to be an hour. Shake tasted a bit funky. Also they were out of the spicy fried. If I could give less that one star I would. I waited more than 10 minutes in the drive-thru and there was only one person in front of me. I have never tried this place before and never will again. I ordered a hamburger, it was so bad, it didn't even taste like meat. I don't know what it was, but I took 2 bites and threw it away. Besides the fact that I paid $4 for a burger, I was afraid to eat it. Never again!! read more

Went in for a pretty basic order. 1 Cookie Dough shake and 1 Cookies and Cream shake. Ended up with two shakes with cookies, cookie dough, brownie, chocolate chips, and fudge. They were pretty disgusting and not even mixed well (all the ingredients were stuck on the bottom). I get that mistakes happen, but there was only one girl there handling the drive-thru and the ice cream while 3 others were just sitting in the office talking and having a good time. I tried to still give it a shot even though others have said it is going downhill, but I have seen firsthand now that it isn't the same iceberg it used to be. read more

I've been to Iceberg several times over the last few years, generally I'm pacified by it, but never blown away . You have to know ahead of time that the food is decent, but the ice cream is the real draw, which is unfortunate because there are plenty of places with the same draw and average food. The staff is always happy and friendly, but usually clueless as to how to get an order right. The tables are cleared, but not clean. The food is big, but bland. I really wish I could say more, but there isn't much to draw on here. read more

This location is sad, dirty, no air conditioning. The food lacks greatly, old greasy fries each time I've come, cardboard flavorless burgers on a hard crusty bun, even the over the top ice cream is over blended mush. The employees are untrained in friendliness or common courtesy. Like: HI, WELCOME, THANK YOU I've been to other locations and they are good, this one lacks in overall on everything. read more

Horrible!!!!!!! I hope this place shuts down. Got a couple corn dogs. Bit into it and it was still frozen! Went in and stood there. Nobody acknowledged me. I finally had to say something to get someone's attention. Gave me new corn dogs and they were frozen again. I give up. read more

Not the original Iceberg. Group of us went and they skimped on the shake ingredients pretty bad. For 5 to $6 a shake, they really could and should do better. Still, not totally bad. The original Iceberg on 3900 S and 900 E in Salt Lake may be a bit of a dive, but they don't nickel and dime you on the shake ingredients. read more

The food here is fabulous!! I had a chicken cordon Bleu sandwich and the onion rings are so so good!! The service leaves alot to be desired. The cashier guy had no personality whatsoever....the tables were less than clean. Too bad because it could be a great place.... read more

They seemingly forgot to tell me their prices had increased and it was now $10.99 for the banana split. I had to find out after asking the cashier about the price discrepancy. I also asked the cashier what the $1 "Custom Item" was on my receipt and she moved a bottle opener out of the way to show me a sticky note on the register that mentions a $1 charge for using a card. My bad for missing that, I guess. I can understand a local business needing to raise prices to survive right now, but this was practically deceitful.
