I hate to post... came in tonight for some ice cream ...obviously... amongst the staff of mostly girls there was one guy... who happened to take my order... I watched him wipe his nose not once but twice with no gloves on and then he proceeded to make my ice cream... I paid walked out and dumped it in the trash. I hadn't been to cold stone in years and got pulled into it by my friend's kids on a road trip and I'm glad I did because it turns out the Silk Almond Milk ice cream is DELICIOUS. It somehow has the classic texture of cold stone ice cream and tastes good- not the sad sorta watery flavor of average dairy free ice cream. I got butterfinger and caramel sauce blended in and yowza I loved it so much. What a pleasant surprise! Also the employees were nice and responsive and quick. A great experience overall. read more

It was a hot day in Ogden, and ice cream seemed to be in order. Thank goodness for the 25th Street Coldstone Creamery. The store was empty when we walked in, and the two young ladies were most helpful. My receipt shows Sidney E, so thank you! Problem was, they were out of the flavor to make my first choice. OK, that happens in high-volume stores. Also happens in poorly-managed stores. Not sure of the reason here. My second choice was fine, and very rich. And very large. Ice cream is good, service was terrible. Went with two friends on 10/18 after work around 6. There were three workers and only a couple ahead of us. They never acknowledged us and took them 15 minutes to make the couple's order and then had us wait another 7-8 minutes before finally saying "what can I get you" (Not even a "sorry for the wait" or a "hello! We will get to you as soon as we can" before this 22-23 min wait. It was pretty ridiculous. I've worked at Coldstone before and customer service used to be a big emphasis but maybe not now in 2023....Don't care to come back here again! Go to the other ice cream spots. read more

It was my first time trying ice cream from here. I am not a big fan of ice creams, but I must say I really liked it and it's impressive. I went to the shop 15 mins before closing and I know servers hate to see people before closing(I have been through that), but I had to buy for my dad. And while I was ordering, so many people entered the shop at the last minute. The guy in front me kept on changing/adding his order. Despite everything, the workers there were pleasant and took everyone's order with patience. Just the perfect customer service. I ordered 'Founder's favorite and Banana caramel' and one word for that; "Sumptuous". I guess I have to start eating ice creams now. Lol read more

I usually love Cold Stone but this specific location is a dump. The people that work there are so rude and don't seem to care whether they have customers or not. I was stunned when I ordered ice cream to be delivered. it was 1/2 the size it used to be and didn't have what I ordered for both. I called and spoke to the most unprofessional rude owner of the place. she hasn't been there that long. I was mad about the order and she didn't give a crap. it used to be about customer service and this woman didn't know how to deal with an upset customer, she was a smart alec and talked down to me. I will NEVER go there again and will tell everyone i know to not bother with this place. if you read all the negative reviews you will see it's not just this place but in other states as well. I arrived at 3:45 to a closed store to pick up a birthday cake which cost 50.00. I had to stand outside and then wait for someone to open the door and then continue to wait once allowed in the store. This is the cake I was given. My 6 year old grandson could have done as well. The decorator insisted that this was too notch decoration and read the cake 4 times to insist that it was legible. Go to the Clinton store. It might be better than this train wreck!!! read more

I ordered a signature "ours". The worker filled it about halfway, realized he didn't have enough and filled the rest with plain chocolate ice cream because he didn't want to have to mix more? To make it worse he didn't fill it up all the way so I was short about 1/4th of the container! I will not be returning to this location. read more

I've gone to other cold stones and this one is by far the worst! I waited in line for minutes then as soon as I was ready to order they told me what I wanted they didn't make any more (the no fair funnel cake) she also informed me that they do not serve the churro caramel crave. So being optimistic I ordered the "hot for cookie" , mind you I didn't intend on ordering this. Then when I received the cookie ice cream creation it was very small with one small scoop of vanilla ice cream. I will never be going here again! I would advise any one who thinks of here for any thing other then a cone or cake, caramel apple. To go to waffle love they make a far superior churro waffle and they don't cut any corners! Talk about personable service. I'm visiting the area from Tennessee, by way of Florida, on our way to start a 200 mile run relay when we needed some breakfast. We came upon this 'Main Street' to eat, but when I saw "Chocolate", I knew I had to stop by after breakfast, and I'm glad I did. I was greeted by a very genuine staff and was sold a most amazing Reeces Pieces Chocolate Bucket! Ya, HUGE! I absolutely love this ice cream shop. I have yet to be disappointed. Some times there is a wait due to the high demand but it is worth it. They have all of your chocolate dreams! Yummy ice cream with mix ins, shakes, chocolates, caramel apples, ice cream cakes, etc. It reminds me of the Frosted Rock that used to be on Harrison. THAT was my favorite. I've always liked Coldstone, but this is the best one I have ever been to. They did a really good job with the inside decorating, and it is always really clean. The "grand opening" was supposed to take place yesterday and today starting at 10AM. I showed up this morning around 10:30AM and the doors were locked and there were customers waiting out front. I went around the side of the building and found some employees and asked if they were opening. This woman, who I'm assuming was a manager, yelled in my face, "My employees were here until 4AM this morning and we aren't opening until 11!" and then someone had to chirp in, "actually it was 4:30..." Wow! How unprofessional. This establishment is off to a great start for their "grand opening." The employees clearly do not know what customer service is. They didn't even have the decency to post a sign on the door stating that they'd be opening later than expected (at their GRAND opening) and then yelled at me when I inquired about it.
