There were three employees behind the counter who seemed completely unmotivated to assist anyone. When we mentioned it was our first time in, they didn't offer any recommendations or welcome us--they kind of just turned around and walked away. ​I asked to sample the butter pecan, but it was noticeably freezer burnt and tasted off. Meanwhile, we watched one of the workers in the back assembling drive-thru orders handling cash and then handling waffle bowls with her bare hands--no gloves and zero handwashing between touching money and food. Seeing that unsanitary cross-contamination made us skip the waffle bowl entirely. ​We decided to share the Caramel Apple concoction (my husband wanted the caramel ice cream option). By the time it was handed across the counter to us, it was already soup--pretty much melted straight out of the tub. ​All in all, between the lack of basic food safety practices, poor customer service, dirty seating, and melted/freezer-burnt ice cream, it was a really disappointing visit. He told me they have recently increase prices. I can get that but it's BS if the menu says a price and you are told differently after you order. Pretty sure I am going to bring this up with the better business bureau or something.
