This was melt in your mouth good! The burgers - these were perfection! Draco Bacon Cheddar Burger: $25 - Aged Cheddar with Crispy Bacon Strips; Crispy Onion Straws, Arugula and Garlic Aioli. This was a very well seasoned patty, so juicy and a substantial sized patty of fresh not frozen beef. The bun was lightly toasted, bacon crispy, easily taking this into my top 3 fav spots for burgers! Options for sides include fries, sweet potato fries, poutine, side Caesar or garden salad or truffle fries. We finished off our meal with 2 really good cappuccinos and just took our time before heading home. This was our first time back here in a few years. I don't know why the hate for this place - perhaps in the classic buffet days the food was bad, but perhaps the shift to buffet at the table (aka a la carte buffet) improved the food quality greatly. The menu is actually reasonably 'authentic' - there isn't much Americanised Chinese food here. Hot & sour soup was decent. There was quite a lot stuff in it. It was quite spicy. The fried oyster was dry and didn't have much flavour. The BBQ spare rib was ok but was hard to eat with the provided plastic cutlery. Plus, the bone fragmented quite a bit which was unpleasant. The breaded shrimps were decent. Pan fried pork chop was a bit plain though it was fried pretty well. Lobster (for the weekend buffet - limit of 1) was a little small but was really good. Again plastic cutlery made eating this a pain. Salt & spicy shrimp was decent. Shrimp dumpling (har gao) was somewhat mushy - not good. Shrimp salad was just boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce; the shrimp was good quality but the style was a little boring. Steamed scallop with garlic came in its shell and was decent. Shanghai noodles was OK; the portion was a little too big for AYCE. The black pepper beef was decent. The curry fishball was awful - rubbery, with curry sauce that tasted like a mix of chili and something used to clean the kitchen. General Tso's chicken was so-so. The BBQ chicken leg was ok - it was crispy and had a soy sauce flavour. Salt & spicy squid was ok, though the squid was a bit soft. The steamed fish was surprisingly good - it was fresh, good quality fish & was quite fragrant. The green beans were fresh, light & retained their bounce, though they could have done with more smoky wok flavour. Sauteed cabbage with chili was decent. The spicy wings were only slightly spicy & were crispy & tasty. Fish-flavoured eggplant was pretty good (and I don't even like eggplant). It was fragrant with a hint of spiciness. Honey garlic spare ribs were decent - a bit better than BBQ spare ribs, though a touch tough. The desserts weren't very good. Golden Wantons were just fried dough - crispy with a bit of sweet sauce. They were fresh and good. Mini cake was cheesecake but I could see the ice crystals - it hadn't been properly defrosted. It had been taken from the freezer and was dry. The biscuit wa a palmier and it wasn't flaky and was even a bit moist (i.e. bad). The cookie was so-so. The ice cream was green tea flavoured and was ok - there were some ice crystals but it tasted OK. Sweet taro tapioca was actually sago with taro and was okay. The sesame ball was ok - fresh & crispy but with not much stuffing, plus it was mung bean and only passable.

This is a problem point the restaurant needs to address. It's odd since the menu is so unique for an AYCE sushi buffet. Their Premium Menu items are A5 Wagyu, Lobster, Lamb Rack, Seared Tuna Tataki, Beef Tataki, Miso Cod, and Duck Confit. I think it would be better to try the other menu items like the Truffle Carbonara, Tuna & Salmon Stack, Garlic Butter Shrimp, Baked Cheese Mussels, Short Ribs, Sashimi, Teppenyaki, Shrimp Tempura, Mango Pomelo Sago, Durian Dessert, and their Seasonal Tasting Menu. This is a place I would never recommend to anyone. They should get 0 stars. The service is horrible and should be considered a total nightmare. We had a dinner for 2. The price was $25.99/person. When we arrived at the front, no one smiled and no one said the word "welcome" in any language. They starred at us, waiting for us to say something first. When the lady led us to our table, she did not introduce any of their buffet. She walked a lot faster than us, so we had to constantly catch up. When she led us to our table at the corner wall, we were very disappointed. We immediately stated that we did not like the table, so we asked if we could choose the table beside it. The lady answered "Occupied". We chose another table, and she again said "Occupied". After we ran out of options, she said "You can choose a table in the middle section". We chose a table and sat down. Upon doing so, the lady removed the cutlery sets in front of me and adjacent to me, then left without saying a word. There were 4 cutlery sets on the table but we only had 2 people. So she decided to remove the sets closest to where she stands, including the set in front of me. I had to move the remaining cutlery set back by myself. I find this interaction very bizarre for a restaurant with nice decorations and charge $25.99 for a buffet. Aren't server supposed to be friendly? Why is this lady outrageously rude? Why did this lady answer questions in a single English word (actually, she spoke two Chinese words "You Ren")? She couldn't even say a complete sentence "That table is occupied". And why did she removed my cutlery set after I sat down? Why did she not take away the sets from unoccupied seats? Is it too much hassle to think before saying and doing things? After my server arrived, I voiced my discontent to him. He said, "Now, I have moved the cutlery set in front of you. Is there anything else?". It all began to clear up for me. This restaurant does not apologize, not officially, nor unofficially. Their service hints you to go away and stay away. During dinner, there is a lady going around, throwing restaurant lottery cards on your table. These cards are literally thrown to your table, not put on your table. The restaurant becomes very loud during the course of the meal. I do not see any trace of training in any of their servers. They do not automatically replace your paper napkins although it is very obvious that you need a new one. You have to wait forever to get service. The dishes are not properly cleaned and the food is mediocre. The shrimps are over cooked, beef does not taste good, and many of their dishes are awful. The peking duck was not cooked properly, so it had chunks of fat between the skin and meat. The slicing was incorrect, so it had too much meat and too little skin. If you want to be treated like a person, stay away from this place. read more

Not enough spaces for customers Food: Asian dim sum is average. Definitely avoid Japanese. Sushi did not taste fresh. I think they were taken from the AYCE sushi bar which have been sitting there for a while. I only like the teriyaki unagi puff very much. . Cons: We were given small tea cups (kung fu cups) and it needs to be refill all the time. This is hard when we have a group and need to share 2 tea pots. Tea pots are passing around all the time. Tips: If you wear denture, avoid the dish "Sesame Shrimp with sweet sauce" . The sweet sauce was so sticky that it glued to our teeth and hard to remove. After three of us had the same experience, the rest of group did not eat that dish at all. It was a waste. Shrimps were decent size. I did not try AYCE. It does seem to have a big variety of food. We came here to celebrate my birthday based on positive reviews, but the experience was disappointing. Initially, the restaurant was overcrowded, making it difficult to navigate the buffet. Additionally, when we brought our own cake, they threw away the box, leaving us to carry the cake without proper protection. The most troubling issue occurred when we were paying. We inquired about a birthday deal, and the waiter, who seemed visibly displeased, grabbed the bill from my father's hand, made a change, and then threw the bill back on the table. We saw my dad pay with five $50 bills and three $5 bills, totaling $265. However, as we were leaving, the waiter accused my dad of only giving $210 and forced him to pay an additional $50. In trying to satisfy a picky group of family members, I ended up booking us a table at Dragon Legend. I was a little wary, as my experience with buffets had previously included wearing your roomiest pair of pants gorging on a large amount of mediocre food. I was surprised to find out the Dragon Legend had a great variety of well made food. The knife cut noodles (dragon noodles) were SO GOOD and there was even a robot behind the counter? Their Peking duck and their sushi were very fresh. And I also liked that the plates were nice and small, probably an effort to reduce waste (/waist?). I recently visited this establishment for the first time to celebrate a 100-day milestone, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The event took place in a private section reserved by the host, and each table was provided with one serving of Coke and one serving of tea. The servers were exceptionally courteous and efficient in clearing tables. The quality of the food was outstanding, particularly for an all-you-can-eat establishment. Want Mandarin but tired of Mandarin? Dragon Legend is a place to try to satisfy your AYCE desires. There is a good variety of Chinese, Western and Japanese dishes here. For all you sushi snobs: expect AYCE buffet levels of quality. We went as part of a birthday party. Our host booked a large private room equipped with a projector and screen. I'm a sushi/sashimi and Peking duck fan and Dragon Legend hits the perfect spot! The Peking duck is tender and crispy and the best I have tried in an ayce! For the sushi/sashimi: 1. Salmon was fatty and tasty. They also have salmon belly, which is even fattier! More omega-3s :) 2. Butter fish was as the name say, buttery! They have a Tuesday special so if you are going on a weekday, choose Tuesday! read more

We had heard of this place and decided to give it a try. We chose the buffet which had a good variety of choices. The ones we selected were okay, nothing more than expected. A little pricey for what is offered. We have had better elsewhere, but it is what it is. Huge tv screens do not add to this dining experience. Overall : an average experience at best. read more

Went there with a group of 10. The Decor of the restaurant is definitely a plus. Food was just ok. Waitress did not take our plates away until we ask to. One of us wanted a cup of hot water, we had to ask them 3 times before we get it. It is pricy comparing to a typical Japanese All you can eat restaurant. read more

We went here for an early dinner. All the stuff we met were very friendly. I love the Peking duck. The sushi wasn't the best, but I think it's good enough for buffet. The only down part is the oyster, they only give you two each time. The interior was very cool. We will definitely come back again. read more

In the middle they have a grilling area where they are grilling Basa fish, salmon, chicken, sirloin steak. The steak was amazing they put this butter, garlic garnish on top that makes it so delicious. I had 8 of these steaks this evening! They also had a stir fry, soup noodle where you can choose your own ingredients, different vegetables and protein and carbs for them to either turn into a stir fry or soup noodle. They had plenty of ice cream to choose from as well as a soft serve ice cream machine. The service provided by the employees were top notch, so friendly, and helpful. Who plans a restaurant that cannot accommodate groups of 5-8? Poor planning. Someone had to sit at the end of the table which means you're encroaching on the table next to you. Our table wasn't set up with plates, glasses, chopsticks or napkins and it took 10 minutes to flag someone down to request. They have staff members walking around, but being located in the back room means fewer people walk there. We chose the full package. You order sushi and meats through an iPad. There's a good selection of sushi and sashimi. I believe they're missing some rolls that are quite standard elsewhere but you can definitely find things. The meat selection is not great. They have beef, pork, chicken (only 2 choices and not great) and shrimp. The meat wasn't all that flavourful as it's not really marinated. Order the beef with garlic and you get a few slices of beef and they throw some garlic on top as they prepare it. If it were marinated it would taste a lot better. They're fast about being out the dishes. The tables are quite small, especially when they stick 5 people that's meant for a table for 4, so don't order too much at once or you will run out of space. They're quite slow with picking up dirty dishes and getting refills of drinks. You can try to flag them down but often they just ignore you. So, sushi was great. Bbq was poor. Service was lacking. Seating was terrible. 3 stars!
