Went there for a New Year Eve's dinner and had a great selection and attentive staffs. The price point did aligned with high quality of food and selection. We went in at 7:30 time slot and the food was replenished often. Even at the end nearing their closing they did try to replenish the food. Probably will come back and try the regular restaurant or another holiday meal.

Well... Back in town again. Was shicked to see the wings went from the most expensive i've ever seen at 17.00, to the most rediculously expensive at 20.00!!!! For 1 lb? Seriously??? Had the 8 oz burger and it was ok. Presentation is clean and fresh looking, burger was dry, thank goodness for pickles! Bun was soft like it was steamed in a microwave. The fries were excellent, as was the server. For her care and attentiveness. Overall I give it a pass, but if you factor in the price , its rediculous.

This is only half of what was offered for dessert.

My review is based solely on brunch @ Crave I have been to Crave twice now. The first time was for Christmas Day brunch and the 2nd time was just a couple of days ago for Sunday Brunch. We had such a great experience on Christmas Day that we were curious about trying out their Sunday brunch. We called ahead to make sure there was availability and they told us we were welcome to walk in. We arrived around 11:30am and seated fairly quickly in a nice cozy booth. The restaurant was only half full, there were a few large groups of at least 5-8 people. A few tables had reserved signs placed on them - great choice since they were by the windows. By 12pm there were no empty tables. I wasn't sure what to expect for their Sunday Brunch because i was really surprised at the price. Normally buffet brunches range from $40-50 (double that downtown at some buffets). It was priced at $29.99!! This is what they offered: bacon wrapped filet mignon, duck breast, pork tenderloin, prime rib, tilapia, salmon, rice, veggies, roasted potatoes pasta, king crab legs, peel & eat shrimp, full antipasto selection of cheeses, cold cuts, seafood salad etc., Breakfast items were eggs benedict, made to order omelette station, made to order pancakes, bacon, sausage. For dessert there was a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit, mini mousses, cakes, pies - the list goes on! Pretty impressive for $29.99! Ooops almost forgot - coffee & orange juice were included in the price. I'm a big coffee drinker and love a good cup of coffee Their coffee was really good, which surprised me since i never like hotel coffee. 2-3 different servers came by to clear plates, top up coffee, water and anything else we needed. We never had to flag anyone down. I also had an allergy concern and they brought out the sous chef to go over a couple of the items with me (they did the same at Christmas Day brunch). On a side note - Christmas Day brunch costs only $5-$10 more and has double the amount of items as well as turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and options for kids. Plus they have cookie decorating & a visit from Santa for the kids. I took away 1 star for 2 reasons. #1 they didn't have any options for kids. Chicken tenders, fries or mini pizzas would be nice especially since they are offered at their holiday brunches. and a couple of items were cold. #2 a couple of items were a bit cold. Overall - great experience, friendly staff and we were treated very well - i will definitely be back!

    Yummy!

Had a 'light dinner' special. Spetzel (sp?) was tasteless. Turkey club was ok. Sweet potato fries were pretty good.

The restaurant is a decent size with a cozy and relaxing ambiance. We ordered some of the most popular dishes, and everything that came out was absolutely delicious. Every dish had its own unique flavour and taste. There was a small mix-up with our order when one of the staff accidentally brought us tofu shrimp instead of the fried rice we ordered. Amy, one of the servers/managers, handled the situation so professionally. Even though it was already last call and the kitchen was closing, she was able to have the correct dish remade for us. She sincerely apologized for the mistake and even gave us a complimentary plum drink along with some butter cranberry cookies. Amy provided exceptional customer service and was absolutely awesome throughout the experience. Despite the long wait, the food and service made it worth it. I would definitely recommend this place and will for sure be coming back!

The crab itself is meaty and fresh, and the bread for dipping makes the sauce the meal's most dangerous feature. Gloves provided; dignity optional. The room is casual, the service attentive and good-humoured. They get busy, so come early or on a weekday. By all accounts from fellow diners, the black pepper and salted egg yolk preparations are equally worth the trip back. I'll be taking their word for it -- soon.

We were brought to a table that was just being reset, and when asked to switch to a larger table, they had no issue with it. We asked for pu-erh and tieguanyin tea for the table; they brought us two pots of tieguanyin. Relatively easy fix but when we asked for pu-erh they almost brought us heung-pin. The wait staff was okay, most were pleasant. A few didn't look very happy to be there, maybe they were bored, it wasn't busy. I did find it was somewhat difficult to get their attention when we were looking for someone. Some of the food was served hot (dry fried beef noodle, glutinous meat dumpling) but unfortunately most of the food was warm, at best. The beef noodle was actually very tasty, and probably the best item we had. Sadly, the part that really leaves me uneasy is their fish tank. Three out of the four tanks were empty with green algae, with a dead fish at the bottom of the fourth. The optics really don't serve the restaurant in a positive way whatsoever. Honestly speaking, I lost my appetite once I realized what I saw.

The food was good, as expected like a typical Chinese dinner. The portions were decent and the food had good flavour. It didn't wow but hit the spot. They don't have complimentary soup but we ordered their daily soup and it was reasonable priced. The highlight was the complimentary dessert which included a sweet potato sago, mango jello and almond cookies. The service was very good though. They were so attentive and quick to action. I believe this is the same owner as Yumi Legend.

One star for the convoluted business that it is…read more So I arrived at the restaurant to take my mom out for a fun night of Egyptian food, the restaurant occupied two commercial units thought its very unusual why they don't unify it was one unit. One side is for takeout but patrons are sitting there to dine in and the other side is for dine in, but the employees also do take out. Confusing YES. So I arrived in blindly following a line. I eventually tapped the person behind me, is this the line to get a table. He says no it's the line to order... okay. About 20min in the line I finally get the deal what everyone is doing, they order their seafood order at the front where the precious alive seafood is stored- it's like a pick what you eat counter. So I order their sangarita with a salad and yellow rice and a calamari with no sides (you save like $4 for just skipping that). After ordering she asked if I had a table?? I said no, then she comes out with seven yellow sticky notes and says there are 6 parties waiting for a table. I asked how long? Maybe 40min. She also advises me that i can put myself on the list for a table and she can hold my order up to 45min- they won't start cooking until you have a table. So I asked how long for takeout, she says 20min. Well I did my math, I waited 20min in line, and 20min for food that is not partially cooked so 40min, I can live with that. Watched the server rip the slip, and just fyi the fish was charged at $35/kg costing $60 and the calamari at 1lb was $22. She asked me to wait on the side, saw her put the slip with the raw fish and placed it ON THE FLOOR behind the counter. As I waited on the side I can see quite a number of orders piled in Rubbermaid containers on the floor. Behind the counter I can see the coats of the employees piled up next to what looks like to be the washed cutlery for table service and the employees use the same yellow rag to wipe every cutlery. I also saw employees clear the tables and return to prepare more cutlery- did they wash their hand in the kitchen??? I was then prompt to pay on their pay unit. It prompted me tip. SKIP tip for takeout. Then she tells me it's 2% charge if I pay credit card no charge for debit. So I pay debit. I waited patiently, I stood near the washroom and overheard how a male customer found a $100 bill in the washroom and handed it to the restaurant- they didn't even ask around if anyone dropped it. Then when I had waited 30min (10min past the estimated time, I asked for an update ). They assured me 10 more minutes. Then after 10min I asked again, they said 1min. And then they came out with my take out. The gave me a complimentary hummus for the slow service, but I don't think it made up for the undersized sides they served me. Just look at my pic and look at the website photo. Overall , if you have 2-3hours this is your place. THIS PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY CHAOS! I'm questioning food stored on the floor even though it's in a Rubbermaid and then that bin placed back on the scale, touched by the gloved hands and potentially cross contaminating food. During the whole time I didn't see anyone clean or mop the floor- what if people are trekking sidewalk salt in the winter. I am really concerned. Eat dangerously here if you want. I do say the food was seasoned well but won't be returning.
