We made reservations in case but hardly a line unlike the experience at Dragon legend( had reservations but line up for it was still out the door and around building) It was busy but lots of food at the hot tables being refilled often, beverages refreshed and dishes from our table promptly removed. Service was attentive in the dining rooms and friendly by the hostess station. Lunch had enough items to be happy with, but it seemed like they altered the BBQ/Grill station to breakfast foods, like bacon and fried eggs and had a few empty slots where I remember had items previously. Highs: -Black peppered beef cubes very very tender and flavourful - fried noodles on point - tofu pudding dessert had a gingered sugar syrup to drizzle on top Lows: -peking duck seemed more hard instead of crispy skin - fried egg Left the restaurant very stuffed, kids were happy. They felt this buffet was decent and had more flavour than the buffet on Royal Caribbean. Was worth the trip here today, would return again.

We were 5 and went for a birthday. We had a reservation but they still made us wait for 15 minutes. They don't have many tables for 5. 95% of the tables are for 2 or 4. Who plans a restaurant that cannot accommodate groups of 5-8? Poor planning. Someone had to sit at the end of the table which means you're encroaching on the table next to you. Our table wasn't set up with plates, glasses, chopsticks or napkins and it took 10 minutes to flag someone down to request. They have staff members walking around, but being located in the back room means fewer people walk there. We chose the full package. You order sushi and meats through an iPad. There's a good selection of sushi and sashimi. I believe they're missing some rolls that are quite standard elsewhere but you can definitely find things. The meat selection is not great. They have beef, pork, chicken (only 2 choices and not great) and shrimp. The meat wasn't all that flavourful as it's not really marinated. Order the beef with garlic and you get a few slices of beef and they throw some garlic on top as they prepare it. If it were marinated it would taste a lot better. They're fast about being out the dishes. The tables are quite small, especially when they stick 5 people that's meant for a table for 4, so don't order too much at once or you will run out of space. They're quite slow with picking up dirty dishes and getting refills of drinks. You can try to flag them down but often they just ignore you. So, sushi was great. Bbq was poor. Service was lacking. Seating was terrible. 3 stars!

Overall, it's a reliable spot for diners prioritizing quantity, variety, and speed in a modern setting

Price is $55.99 per adult and for senior (65+), there's 20% off the adult price listed. The buffet price is a bit expensive but reasonable in comparison to other buffets. There is a variety of food to choose from including seafood, meats, noodles and veggie dishes to choose from. There's a Peking Duck section and a "noodle bar" as well. My favourite was the sashimi section and it was regularly refilled whenever I went to get more food. Personally, the highlights of the buffet is the seafood and the herbal soup. They even have lamb skewers in the hot food section! Overall, a good dining experience and service was adequate. The servers came around to pick up plates and check in regularly. Received our drinks in a timely manner. No major complaints except restaurant was a bit dark where we were sat so it'd be nice to have a bit more lighting.

Honestly, I don't think I ate my money's worth of food so I don't think this was worth it for me but if you're really hungry, it's a decent buffet. Parking is free outside the restaurant.

The restaurant was surrounded in tanks full of lobster, crab, seafood and then a ton of dry aged steaks. Definitely something you don't see in California. Clean and spacious. Service was what you would expect from a Chinese seafood restaurant. Overall the meal was good, for me and a few others at the table the star of the show was actually the fish. The lobster while impressive when they brought it out was not as flavorful as one would have expected. And same with the king crab legs - my favorite have been the ones I've had in SF. Was interesting to come and experience it but I wouldn't come back. I prefer quality food over an IG-moment.

However, the major downside here is the notoriously slow and chaotic service. Due to the massive crowds, servers can be hard to flag down, orders take a long time to arrive, and the staff often feels rushed or inattentive. The take-out counter was open, so we opted for that instead. Most of the foods on display were ready-to-go and vegetarian / vegan. You can also order manakeesh (Lebanese flatbread topped with toppings such as cheese, spinach, and za'atar - akin to thin-crust pizza) to be made on site. We opted for the vegetarian mix-and-match plates, which came with either rice or salad, 5 small sides, and 3 falafels. Most of the items were pretty good, my favourites being the arnabeet (cauliflower), eggplant with chickpeas and tomato-based sauce, bamya (okra), and white cannellini beans salad. The warak enab (also called dolma or stuffed grape vine leaves) was flavourless and had too much ratio-to-grape vine leaves ratio (more rice inside that I'd like). The tabbouleh was way too salty. The other dishes were good though. Although the manakeesh was made fresh to order, it came out pretty fast. It was also extremely salty. There were a few small tables by the take-out counter, for those who wish to eat the take-out items on the spot. They packaged all the items very well to avoid leakage.

The restaurant is located inside the Empress Walk Mall and they do offer free parking for 2 hours so make sure you validate your parking ticket before leaving. The inside of the restaurant was modernly decorated and seating was very spacious and comfortable. The washrooms were really clean as well and service was exceptional. The waiter came and took away empty plates, replenished water and replaced our grill plates in a timely manner. We ordered 2 Combo A's and 1 Combo B which was $15.99 and $19.99 respectively. Each combo comes with 1 appetizer, seasonal veggies, salad, rice, kimchi, lettuce, miso soup, dessert and the different types of meats that comes with each combo. Everything tasted quite delicious and honestly this was a ton of food for the price. They might've made a mistake and gave us 2 portions of their beef since we ordered 2 Chicken Combo's and 1 Beef combo but we somehow ended up with more beef than chicken. If I do had to nitpick, I would say that the pork belly and their beef slices were really thin but at this price, that is to be expected. Unfortunately for dessert, they didn't have soft serve so I opted for their creme brulee which was so soft, creamy and delicious. I just wished it was a bit bigger. I tried my coworker's mango sago and it was creamy with just the right level of sweetness and wasn't too tart. I would highly recommend this place for their lunch combos but it's only available between 12pm-4pm on weekdays. These combos are great options for people that don't necessarily want to do their AYCE menu but still want some Japanese BBQ. I'll definitely come back and maybe try their lunch or dinner AYCE. Overall though, it was a fantastic lunch and all 3 of us were really full.

Very cool setup where they have 3 self serve fountain drinks which is included in your buffet price. In the middle they have a grilling area where they are grilling Basa fish, salmon, chicken, sirloin steak. The steak was amazing they put this butter, garlic garnish on top that makes it so delicious. I had 8 of these steaks this evening! They also had a stir fry, soup noodle where you can choose your own ingredients, different vegetables and protein and carbs for them to either turn into a stir fry or soup noodle. They have everything from sushi, to dim sum, salad, bbq, and more!! They have a large self-serve salad, snack, and dessert bar outside of the ipad you order from at your table. For a busy night our food came out relatively fast. Presentation was awesome, and sushi portions were reasonable. However, if you're ordering sides like fried chicken or noodle/rice dishes, be careful not to over-order because we thought the portions were quite large, especially the general tso's chicken. Our favorite sushis were salmon, white tuna, and eel. Deep fried scallops were surprisingly delicious & so was the duck sushi! They weren't gamey at all & between the two duck options I really liked the foie gras one. We tried a majority of the sushi items but these stood out the most. Items I'd avoid are the general tso's chicken (too large of a portion and mid tbh) & shrimp skewer (came with shell on and was way overcooked). They also serve strawberry mango bingsu for dessert which is awesome because how often do you find a buffet that has bingsu?! I was a bit weary of the reviews suggesting this place sucked but they must be under new ownership or management of some sort because everything from service to food was genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommend to book a reservation in advance on Google. Parking is validated as long as you park at the RioCan underground lot to the side of the building's main entrance.
