I was desperate for prescription contacts for same day and I've tried many places! I so happen to be near so I called in and Karina was very very polite and helpful! She accepted my prescription and gave me trials to take home and also ordered my prescription contacts that will be here in a week! Other places were telling me it could be as long as 3 months! They have always been super accommodating and helpful over the years when I have ordered glasses and contact lenses. However today I came in to place an order for new contact lenses and I have to applaud Karina who was working there because she really took her time to explain my benefits, call my insurance all while being super friendly and efficient. All in all Karina was able too make it right I had service done and I felt dissatisfied, but after a few calls n saying I was disappointed with my eye wear Karina was able to change my lens if I brought in other frames that I used to wear at no cost to me this is why I changed my one star to four. read more

My glasses broke several weeks ago. I accidentally sat on them waking up and the frame legs both snapped off, leaving the frame and lenses in tact. Anyways I thought I would have to pay a considerable amount of money to fix them. Like all new frames. But the girl working looked at them and somehow was able to Frankenstein two other pieces onto the lenses to make functional glasses. It's not the best but I will need to be careful until I can afford brand new ones. Excellent Service. No charge at all read more

Everyone in this office is very helpful and friendly. They accommodate their clients nicely. Even as a walk in they greeted me like if they known me for years. Everything is top notch about this optometry office Compared to other places I've been. Came in for my appointment and everything settled nicely. I've been coming here for over 3 years or more. But let me start off by how high there prices have gone. I would pay about $150 for eye contacts now they are charging me $190 woahhh! are you kidding me? Costco has better prices..... Anyways i am posting this review because my co-worker recently order and picked up her pair of brand new contacts and she was charged her normal amount... when i called i got attitude over the phone & the lady told me the prices have now changed and i would be paying $190 and not what i use to pay..... i have been referring people to this place because of the cheap prices but not anymore. I have been here before and received good service, but I came back this year and they tried to charge me for one pair of contacts lenses, which would only last a month. I only ended up getting an eye exam and will have to go somewhere else to do my contacts eye exam. I have been bringing my 3 kids here for years and this place gets better and better every time we visit. However this last visit was the best one yet, his staff is so welcoming, kind, and accommodating. The front desk woman with the glasses was so sweet letting us know what we had to fill out, and the other young woman with the dark hair and long lashes...just wow, let me just say no one has ever treated my kids with that much patience, my youngest son HATES to wear glasses, he didn't even want to pick any out, this happens every time we come, he is the hardest one to convince...she took matters in to her own hands and began asking him his favorite color, brought him multiple frames to try on, made sure they fit comfortably, assured him there was nothing cooler than being able to see...and when he could not choose between the final two...she placed them down mixed them up, then said they would close their eyes and they played eenie meenie minie moe together....needless to say I almost had to drag him out of there because he was having so much fun. The service is lacking here. I remember calling more than twice on different days to ask for the status of my new lenses in my own frames and was told they weren't ready. Upon, coming in person, they were pulled out of the drawer and ready to go. I don't know if I was lied to or whomever answered the phone didn't know and said no automatically, but I didn't like the hassle. The eye exam is very cookie cutter and straight forward. The glasses selection is not something to come for, maybe if you don't have insurance, it's good to take advantage of their package deal. read more

It is a hole in the wall in a bad 'hood (the front door sign warns of "Armed Response" ... yikes!) but - the price can't be beat ($79 for the glasses and contacts exam, plus a pair or glasses and a pair of contacts) and Dr. M is very kindly and super thorough. I typically buy my eyeglasses online. I needed my prescription renewed and thought I would treat myself to a "nicer"pair of glasses so I choose a pair at this office. They have a very small selection and charge a very high price ( I found out later that the exact frames that they charged me $250 for are available online for $66) The doctor did a very good job, he used state of the art equipment and my prescription is great. I thought he was kind and so was his staff. However, as nice as they may be, his staff is highly untrained. When i went to retrieve my glasses, they fell off my face immediately. (Not to worry, frames often need to be readjusted to a client's face.) Yet the young lady who was "helping" me seemed annoyed they didnt fit right away and had to be coaxed to adjust them. After two tries, they didn't slid off but had a horrible tilt forward. She made up a story about how high index lenses make you feel like you're "falling forward" and that the problem was the lens. She even offered to switch out the lens to a lower index if "I didn't get used to it" Of course, I went home and immediately adjusted my glasses properly to fit my face using a hair dryer. No tilt. I've been wearing glasses for almost 30 years. (High index lenses do not make you feel like you're going to fall over, its just a bad fit) If you're going to charge exorborant retail prices, you should at least provide the retail experience to go with it. If I have to adjust them at home, on my own with a hair dryer, then I should be paying online prices. read more

$79 for an eye exam, a pair of glasses, and 6 pairs of Acuvue contacts. Really? Wow. Yes. Dr. Misheloff is right out of a Norman Rockwell drawing, with the temperament to match. Very calm, quiet, and old-fashioned doctor-y. I went during my lunch hour to get an exam, the entire visit took less than 20 minutes. The free glasses are from a special "free glasses" section of the wall, they're not all awful, though they are the exact frames you will get (yes, the ones that everyone has tried on for god-knows how long, not the stock in the back that doesn't have fried chicken grease and lipgloss smothered on em.) I was able to make an appointment 2 days prior and went in yesterday, I chose to get Ray-Bans and just paid the difference which was not bad and my glasses will be ready by next week! Doesn't have a great selection of glasses, uses antiquated equipment, and his staff (mainly the females) don't provide great support. I purchased contacts and they supplied me yellow sample boxes. Had to go back about five times to get a decent prescription, and they counted the trials against my supply. Nice Doctor, but don't think I'll be going back. read more

I was recommended by him by a co-worker, after spending about $280 at Lenscrafters for eye exam and lenses, they were giving headaches and my vision was off. Dr Misheloff and his staff are so quick and friendly. The price is ridiculously cheap too. Cheaper than getting vision insurance at work which is 7$ a month. It took my eyes a bit to adjust to the glasses but once they did it was great. I had no idea how blind I was. The only thing I can say is when he's doing the exam he goes kind of fast but is happy to show you the different lenses if you need to see them again. 110$ for glasses and three pairs of contacts was definitely a steal. read more
