The Calzone is awesome! Sausage & Pepperoni, Pulled Pork and Meat Ball where all bad ass. Service is on point too.

Good food, great staff, and open late. I had the Buffer Zone, a buffalo wing-style calzone. I could tell it was just chopped breast, cheese, and Frank's, but at the time, it was exactly what I wanted. This place is AMAZING. They don't make calzones...they make edible art. The dough is wonderfully soft and delicious, and the cheeses and meats mix magnificently. Love the Speed Zone and Drop Zones the most. (Their ricotta is ridiculously good.) Huge fan of their "Calzone of the Day" offerings. Very pleased with my first visit to DP Dough! The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was spotless. I ordered two calzones (one to eat, one to take home). Two calzones, cheesy tots and a drink was a quite reasonable $18. I ordered the Cheeseburg Zone for there, the Drop Zone for home. The Cheeseburg Zone was served with marinara and had an excellent ratio of dough to filling, a key element for calzones. The cheesy tots stayed fairly crisp throughout the meal and were an excellent side. The staff checked on me during the meal and offered me additional sauce options. Overall, I highly recommend DP Dough for daytime or late nite dining! read more

I've been to D.P. Dough in three different states and this one here in Arizona is the best one ever. When I was vegetarian they had so many meat alternatives. They're also always so nice and friendly. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This place may not have many bells and whistles but the staff is very friendly and their recommendations were on point. We had the Bro Zone and the Mac-n-Pork Zone and both were flippin delicious. Additionally, their marinara sauce is amazing. Finally, we got a cookie to share after our meal and it came so fresh that it was actually hot! Disappointed for a few reasons: Time it took to receive my order, quality of the food and incorrect pricing on the website. Time: Two co-workers and I decided to try DC Dough for the first time today. The on-line ordering wasn't working so I had to call in the order. I was advised it would be 30 minutes as the caller ahead of me had a large order that would take a bit of time to complete. No big deal. I walked in approximately 35 minutes later. The large order ahead of mine was being boxed up, and I was told mine just went in the oven and would be ready in about 5 minutes. 20 minutes later I walked out with my food, nearly an hour after I placed the order. Food quality: I had the Chicken Parmazone; it was just okay - not bad but not great either. One of my co-workers ordered the cheesy tots and they were barely edible. The cheese was burned on and they were really hard and stuck to the container. Co-worker wasn't happy about this. Also, her "Endzone" calzone didn't have any mushrooms as it's supposed to. Incorrect pricing on the website: This caused an issue because my co-workers didn't give me enough money. Their website lists the chicken parmazone at $7.75 however when I got there their menu board lists it at $8.29. The steak "zones" (which my co-workers had) are listed at $8.50 however are actually $8.99. They also don't list an extra charge for a side of ranch which was an additional $1.00. My co-workers collectively owe me $4, but because I don't want to be petty I'm not going to ask them for it. So, due to their incorrect on-line pricing, my supposed $8.29 calzone cost me $13.00. Lastly, and this really has nothing to do with the DP Dough - but the traffic in the surrounding area is quite ridiculous, largely due to the construction on Rural, University and McClintock. I work 3 miles away. I left to go pick it up at 11:25, took me 10 minutes to get there, 20 minutes waiting for my order and another 15 minutes back to work. I spent almost my entire lunch hour just to picking it up. The food is not good enough for this much of a hassle, combined with overpricing and the wait time. read more

It's just ok. They don't deliver past mc Clintock which kind of sucks because I live 3 seconds past that. Anyways, I had the chicken bacon ranch tomato calzone. It was kind of soggy. The marinara and crust was good. I just wasn't a fan of what was inside. It's relatively cheap, 7$ for a huge calzone. Me and my boyfriend split it and still didn't finish the whole thing. I would try this again but maybe a different calzone. read more

The food here is hella good that is IF they get your order right. No exaggerating 9/10 my order is wrong, HORRIBLE customer service, every time my order is wrong they say it's my problem, I've continued to order just for the vegan options but I can't anymore, I spend $20 every time for one meal that comes wrong and one time it didn't come at all, Driver went to the wrong address and they offered no help, short $20 and no food, no reimbursement, I could go on AND ON but basically I'm sad to say I am no longer a customer here read more

I ordered a calzone and a 2 liter and it came 10 mins early. I got a $10 calzone that was the size of pizza hut's pizzone that didn't even have everything I ordered on it. The calzone was lukewarm as was the soda.Then to top it off the marinara they included was a small to go cup filled half way, good for maybe 2-3 dips before it was empty. Ever since DP Dough has taken over, this establishment has been awful. This is the send time we have been there and ordered a pepperoni calzone without cheese and it had cheese on it. This time we waited over an hour for it. Who knew something as simple as pizza dough and pepperoni could be messed up. You get what you lay for i guess. Tried this for the 1st time today and was impressed. Ordered thru uber eats and it came fast and hot. The dough wasn't crispy but my spinach, ricotta garlic calzone was great. I ordered mozzarella sticks thinking they were breaded cheese sticks and it was actually cheese bread but delicious nonetheless and came with garlic butter sauce and your choice of dipping sauce. It was cheap, fast and pretty darn good. I'll definitely order from DP again. read more

Placed an online order for calzone, cheese and bacon tater tots and some chocolate chip cookies. When I got home I had a message that part of my order wasn't given to me so I went back and they threw in some extra cookies. Everything was really good and both the gentlemen I dealt with were very nice and apologetic for the mixup. They also gave us several free cookies to make up for it. Definitely a good place to check out if you want some calzones and fresh cookies. The fact that they're open late is even better. read more

I used to be a loyal customer of DP Dough and recently I ordered two calzones. They told me that the calzone would be ready in about 30 minutes, and the order took 2 AND A HALF hours to get to me. They told me that they would "make it right" by giving me an order of cookie dough ice cream, and unfortunately I never got that order. I was extremely disappointed by the customer service of which D.P Dough exhibited towards me. read more

Worst wings ever! We got both bone in and bone out. 12 dollars is highway robbery here. The bone out tasted like Tyson or Banquet microwaved wings with sauce added. The bone in was all chewy fat. This place has the worst delivery service. Once you order online you are told your order will arrive 30-45 min later. Every single time I order I always end up waiting a minimum of an hour and a half. I'll usually call too, and they will say "it just went out, it will be there in a few min". I'd understand if I lived far, but I literally live 7 min away. The only reason why I continue to order is because no where else will deliver Ben and jerrys ice cream at 3 am. read more
