They ruined my nails (left small dents) and the lady was on the phone with her sister in law talking about a bbq my whole appointment. She seemed very rushed to get me out of there and the guy next to her was doing another woman's nails and he didn't even seem to understand what she wanted, which was just an accent nail???? My gel manicure started falling off 3 days later and I was bleeding by the end of my appointment on two different nails, one on each hand, and she cut my toe. This was my first visit to this salon. I called and was scheduled right away. When I got there I was greeted by all the staff. I was asked to pick a color. Then Loc came out and showed me to my pedicure chair. Being that it was my first shellac pedicure I had a hard time figuring things out but he was very patient with me. He did an excellent job on my toes. After my shellac pedicure I decided to get a shellac manicure. Since I already had gel on my nails he had to skillfully remove them since they were on there very very well. Again, he was patient with me! He made sure everything he was doing was comfortable. He was very easy to communicate with! He was such a great technician. I normally only do my nails abroad as a treat but now I plan to visit him monthly! Great place... Great experience! I called at 10AM and was able to get me right in at 10:30 for a pedi and shellac manicure! I saw two people and they each did an amazing job. Very nice and friendly. I chose this salon based on Yelp reviews. When I arrived it was immediately apparent they over booked themselves and people with appointments had to wait beyond their appointment time. This was my first shellac manicure. It only lasted 3 days before it chipped. My cuticles don't look any better than before my manicure. I won't be going back to this salon. read more

This is a clean establishment with extremely pleasant employees and good prices. I chose it based on yelp reviews, but it is hidden away in a strip mall and not very visible from the street, so I have a feeling that not a lot of people know about it. Called on a Saturday to request an appointment for the next day and got in with no problem for two pedicures. The woman who did mine (didn't catch her name) gave a really good massage and was very through, taking her time with my gnarly I-haven't-had-a-pedicure-all-summer feet. The standard pedicure was only $25 and added on callous removal a la carte for only $5. Best value in the Salem/Keizer area in my opinion. I will be back! read more

I went in last month for a manicure and the guy talked me into getting shellac (I have never liked shellac because its terrible to get off and it never seems to last as long as it should) but I'm so glad he did! They looked perfect for 3 weeks and could've easily lasted another week but I am going on a trip this week so I wanted my color changed. He did a great job on my manicure as well. Best manicure I've ever had! My nails were clean and stayed nice for a couple weeks. I liked it so much I went back today and his wife did my nails this time. She was just as good! I made an appointment but still had to wait over 20 minutes til they got to me. There were barely any gel colors but it was fine I managed to pick one. Everything seemed fine nothing spectacular but my feet looked fine. 2 weeks later my left toenail is ingrown on one side. She cut it at a super sharp angle. Everyone knows toenails should be cut straight across. I had been going to the same lady for the last 5 years and moved so I had to find somewhere else to go. Our experiences were consistent the three times we went. First impression was the place is dirty and disorganized. For the 6 week period the same dirt and garbage remained under the chairs, furniture and along wall edges. I observed after a pedicure the equipment was quickly rinsed and wiped off. There was no sanitation. They also overbooked and so there was quite a wait time. Staff is not always friendly with everyone. read more

He did a good job on the nails! The only thing was that he only put one coat of polish on one hand and 2 on the other, so one has it more see through. He burnt me a few times with the buffer and cut my hang nail when thinning my nails. read more

I am giving this a two star mainly because they are not clean. All of the tools the lady used on me were dusty and you could literally see old fingernail clippings in the nail clippers from previous clients. GAG! This is obviously a family ran business. How I am aware of this is because the lady who did my nails had her infant child there and kept asking me to "hold on" while she went back into the supply closet, I am not joking, to care for her baby when he cried! Very unprofessional. I sat there for a total of 25 extra minuets while she attended to her child. She did not once apologize. As for my nails, they turned out better than I expected. She went as quickly as possible, missing some parts of my nails as she filed and slightly cutting my skin with the file, but she got my coffin shape down pretty well. There are also a LOT of bubbles that are clearly visible as well. I feel like if her baby was not there and she took her time, they would have turned out a lot better. I do not like the fact that they are not clean or professional, their work is decent, but that is too much of a deal breaker for me. I will be finding a different salon. read more

I got a shellac manicure and pedicure, and the pedicure was poorly done- needed to ask to have my nails cut and seemed like he just wanted to be done. The polish was not put on evenly. Go in for a pedicure we have scheduled and have to wait a half hour. Massage is non existent for the feet unless it's with a nail brush. Dirty place and no paper towels in the bathroom. Clutter and of course language barriers. Not a good experience and will not be back. read more

I have gone to almost every nail salon in town. I was going to Solar Nails for a while but realized after a handful of visits for acrylics or solar that I'd walk away with bloody cuticles, uneven nails, wrong color, charging different prices, etc. I read the reviews for Stellar Nails after reading every nail salons' reviews on Yelp. I was pleased with the photos & reviews I saw so I thought I'd give them a try. I had made an appointment on a Monday evening so they weren't that busy & started my nails 15 minutes before my appointment, when I arrived. I immediately had two people trimming my nails, my cuticles & buffing them. I later found out that these two were married & they worked as a team to make sure my nails were perfect. It took them an hour & fifteen to do my solar nails which is fine by me because they made sure they were how I wanted them. I had come in asking for stiletto nails & she immediately knew what I was talking about. And she did them absolutely perfect! They were so sweet, open, funny & professional. After looking online to see what nail salon some people prefer or which saints are the best. Stellar nails has came in 1st place. They are very friendly and have a sense of humor. Many times there are waits but they often do a great job for the amount you had to wait to get in. I would prefer to call first to schedule an appointment,because they are sometimes real busy with costumes. Around 4 I would say is the calm hour and around 1-3 is usually rush hour because there are so many scheduled appointments already booked. But they are often fast working. read more

When I first walked in, it seemed like a pretty average nail salon. I was expecting a decent mani/pedi, but nothing incredible. The nail polish color range was fairly bad, especially since I already had either a pink or nude color in mind. A number of the nail polishes were also super dried out or almost empty. I would suggest bringing your own color. The salon seemed relatively clean and there seemed to be a few gallon containers of bleach hanging around, but I never saw the tools being placed in or taken out of sanitizing solution or packaging. It also didn't seem that they were very thorough when cleaning the pedicure tubs. However, the two staff who did my pedicure and full set did stay half an hour past closing in order to make sure they provided me with exactly what I wanted. They checked in with me frequently to make sure that what they were doing was up to my standards and fixed anything that I was unsure about. So, all in all, if I don't receive an infection and the nails last a decent amount of time (today is only Day 1), then I probably would return if I'm in the Keizer area. read more
