During the time of Covid 19, I was searching for a small nail salon in Keizer with few chairs. Stellar Nails has just one chair. My daughter recommended this salon. This is a local" Mom and Pop business. Loc, the owner, was there to give me a French Manicure with a black line. Loc did an perfect job. I Enjoyed the conversation with him throughout the hour. Will certainly return to Stellar nails, not just because of few chairs/ safety, but of the quality of his work. When asked if he enjoys nail art, he Said he could do flowers, lines, and a few simple shapes. Should you be in search of a more entailed piece of nail art, it is possible to request Loc wife. This salon was the most horrible experience I could have hoped to have. I went in and asked for short square nails with these colors (first photo) and the second photo is what I got. They look nowhere remotely close to each other. I called the salon to ask for a refund and the tech told us in order to get one we would need to come in and have our nails soaked off. We did this and the whole time, the technician was rudely gossiping RIGHT NEXT TO ME about how we had asked for a refund after we left because we "didn't like them". No, we asked for refunds because the work was shoddy (we were burnt, cut, nails were different lengths) and the nails were crooked and for $50 (for me) and $60 (for my sister) we could have gone to a high end nail salon for much better work. Would have left a better review if she hadn't been talking loudly about us to her client where we could hear, but here we are. Do not go here. read more

I am so disappointed with the customer service here. I got an acrylic set with shellac over the top a little over a week ago before I headed out of state. Looked great! But 3 days into my trip one of the acrylic nails chipped! By one week three nails were chipped horribly, not just the polish chipped but the actual fake nail. I went in as soon as I got back home and asked for a refund. She said they couldn't do that for me since I waited so long. First of all it had been less than 10 days since I got them done. Second of all, these are fake nails I paid $40 chipped off! They are terrible and embarrassing. Unfortunately I will have to try somewhere else in Keizer again. Sigh read more

Made an appointment. Came in and no one was available. I had made an appointment for my mom to get a pedi and for myself to get a pedi and a full set. My mom was put into pedi chair 30 mins later. I was not out into pedi chair for 50 mins. I had to cancel my full set because my mom would have been finished and waiting for me for over an hour. The worst part was two people walked in AFTER me and sat down immediately. Mind you, I had an appointment just the same as they did! I was told they were regular customers hat requested a specific nail tech. So because I was not regular and did not request someone by name, my appointment was not honored? Haven't even had the service yet and no need to even comment on it as this level of customer service will never have me returning. read more

I was able to get a walk in appointment with Christie and she was friendly, did my nails quickly and they came out really great! I made another appointment with her before I left for a mani/pedi in August. If you are unsure of where to go--I would say give Stellar Nails a try. They take appointments or walk-ins. They are in a bit of an odd retail spot behind Quiznos in Keizer on River Road North--but, there is tons a parking and a beer tasting place close by for your man to wait for you in ;) read more

Fair price ($40 for full set) for the time that was taken with my nails. I wasn't keen on the fact that they charge more for the shape I requested...never had that happen before. Loved how they turned out, she did exactly what I asked. Pros-speak fluent English, no language barriers so they understand what you're asking for, clean shop, decent hours, and very attentive to detail. Nail polish was old and they fill the bottles with acetone to make it go farther. Each one was very "watery" looking. No decor, no music, not a relaxing atmosphere at all. I really do like this place despite a few setbacks - The run-down appearance of the place isn't really a estimate of the work they do. They always have nice clean towels for after you wash your hands, and do keep everything as clean as this old stuff can be. I have been a walk-in and was seated very quickly, and I've also made an appointment and waited a long time to be helped because they were so busy. In fact on Saturday I made appointments for my mother-in-law, my cousin, and myself. We all arrived on time, but weren't seated until at least 20 minutes later. We were so late that I was not home in time to meet the guests I'd invited to my own house. While I know this should make me mad, I wasn't. t'm not sure if they really understand that one or two employees should be kept free to manage the appointments right away, and the other staff should take walk-iins, but with all this said... The gel (shellac) nails they do have out lasted every other salon in town and a few I've gone to in Portland. That says a lot since I am an avid gardener, digging in the dirt nearly every day. I'm rough on my hands, yet the nails seem to last at least 3 weeks, sometimes 4. Most of the time my nails have grown out so far that it's a bit silly looking yet the polish is still there. They have told me that if something did get chipped or peels off within the first day or two to come back in and they will fix it right away. So, two days ago my sisters and I came in for regular pedicures which were $25 a piece. We had a lot of fun and it was a very lovely and relaxing experience it was my first pedicure and I enjoyed it thoroughly him the husband and wife that own this establishment I believe are very warm-hearted, gentle, nice, and generally you have amazing customer service. I think the pedicures were definitely worth the money they spend time under massage in to get our feet really nice and pampered and I enjoyed that, we didn't feel rushed through the service and I like that a lot. I will definitely be back with my sister and I can't wait because I really love that I found this place close to home that is all around really nice. I also enjoy the fact that it smells nice and fresh and not like acetone or acrylic where you can hardly breathe. I don't have enough nice things to say about this place so I definitely recommend you to give them a chance. read more

It didn't really look like a very successful salon and I had to wait a while for my appointment, BUT it was absolutely worth it. I love my nails! Stay away! Unsanitary. The man doing my manicure used his dirty thumb nail to "clean" the polish from around my nail. Before I could stop him he had cut into the skin between my nail and finger. I immediately asked him to stop and asked for alcohol to be used to clean the area, which he used water for. I now have an infected and painful nail/cuticle where he punctured the skin. Just gross. In the picture I've added ypu can see the inflammation as well as the chips in the shellac I had put on less than 24 HOURS ago! The chemical smell is also very strong. read more

Read reviews, took a chance. First impression--extremely messy and chaotic, one technician. Have had gel nails and shellac nail polish for 6 plus years. He was very nice, different than I'm used to, but they looked okay at first. The very next day, my right thumb nail was already chipped, and three days later, the gel fill he did was completely gone, and I'll have to get my nails completely redone in a week. If I could give no stars I would, but I'm warning people to not go here because they will majority screw up your nails. read more

These girls take their time to get a good job done. I can go 2 1/2 to three weeks with no lifting. They have endless amounts of designs to choose from. I got my solar nails done then three days later my thumb corner breaks off, then another two days later my other thumb did the same thing grocery shopping.They continued to break off throughout the week. The nails didn't last more then a week. They must use cheap powder, I'm not new to getting my nails done. I made an appointment here after seeing my sister in laws beautiful nails. I called on Monday afternoon and was scheduled for the same day. I've been looking for a salon that would shape my nails the way I like them (long and pointed) without confusion or having someone try to talk me out of them. Claire (the tech my sister in law recommended) knew exactly what I was wanting and how to do it. She let me know that because of the long length and shape, my set would be $40. I asked what the pricing was for standard square nails just out of curiosity and she said it starts at $30. I think the extra charge for length and shape is fair. I've had my nails done at a lot of different salons, and I'm telling you, special nail shapes (not square), require a talent and skill level that not every tech has. I just wanted regular polish this time, but I know based on my sister in laws nails that they offer designs and 3d gems similar to what you would see on Instagram. I am beyond pleased with my nails and I will most definitely return to have my nails filled. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that I hold a cosmetology license in Oregon, and this salon followed sanitation guidelines. This was one of the only salons that offered me a new clean file, buffer, and DRILL FILE. The personal drill file is enough to win me over. Plus, it was only $1 to get this new kit. read more

I'm visiting from another state, but knew the area and drove out of my way to go here because of it being so well reviewed. After my experience yesterday, I am about done with Yelp as it was not even close to what I read. The place didn't seem too clean, the person's nails who did my manicure were gross, he put lotion on my hands before they were even soaked, no massage at the end, he filed a few of my nails crooked, got a little polish on my cuticle, one of my nails already has a chip (I had gel manicure) for a few complaints. I travel a lot and I regularly get manicures and have alot of comparisons. Would never return here. read more

This was my first visit to this salon. I called and was scheduled right away. When I got there I was greeted by all the staff. I was asked to pick a color. Then Loc came out and showed me to my pedicure chair. Being that it was my first shellac pedicure I had a hard time figuring things out but he was very patient with me. He did an excellent job on my toes. After my shellac pedicure I decided to get a shellac manicure. Since I already had gel on my nails he had to skillfully remove them since they were on there very very well. Again, he was patient with me! He made sure everything he was doing was comfortable. He was very easy to communicate with! He was such a great technician. I normally only do my nails abroad as a treat but now I plan to visit him monthly! Great place... They ruined my nails (left small dents) and the lady was on the phone with her sister in law talking about a bbq my whole appointment. She seemed very rushed to get me out of there and the guy next to her was doing another woman's nails and he didn't even seem to understand what she wanted, which was just an accent nail???? My gel manicure started falling off 3 days later and I was bleeding by the end of my appointment on two different nails, one on each hand, and she cut my toe.
