They had horrible customer service for one (the girl who glued my nails on was texting the whole time) after they were glued on 3 of them popped off(obviously phone girl did a shitty job)as the other lady i was passed off to was filing them. Then when she did fix them she just glued it back togetherand slapped some acrylic over the top of it. Now today a whole nail breaks in half. NOT EVEN A WEEK INTO HAVING THEM! NEVER AGAIN. TL;DR: I have been looking for my a new go-to nail place in Salem and I finally found it. This was such a lucky find. The exterior is unassuming, as they always are. But the service is GREAT. We always make an appointment before hand and have never had an issue getting one. They are awesome with COVID precautions. I love getting both manicures and pedicures here. The technicians are so nice and professional. They are able to accommodate our specific design requests to the T and are SO nice about it! They are priced great, friendly, professional, clean, quick, and just a great experience. Love love love! read more

I should have waited but I was being impatient and wanted to get a pedicure and full set ASAP. I had the worst experience ever here. I choose their pedicure which is supposed to include a massage. I wouldn't even call it a massage. The lady just beat on my feet and legs for about 30 seconds. She used clippers and ripped off my old polish then charged me $20 for gel. I usually get charged $5-$10 more for that. Crappy pedicure is over and we move onto my hands. I show her the design I want and asked if she could do it. She says yes. I tell her in the beginning that I want them long and to be sure to build the apex/make them thick enough or they will break. She doesn't do any cuticle care/work. She doesn't make them thick enough either and I was in the worst pain ever while she was shaping them, she didn't hold the long nail so it was hurting my nail bed while filing them. At this point I am in pain and just want to hurry up and leave. She rushed through the design and the lines are so crooked. One of the worst sets and experiences I've ever had. This was a big disappointment. When I walked in, I was surprised that the place is being remodeled. Initially, no one even bothered to greet me. I waited 20 minutes or so. There were some issues. The technician, Lily, spent the whole time "training " someone to do nails, talking quietly to him, showing him how to do this and that, using me as an example. The whole experience was impersonal, unprofessional, and strange. I assume this training should take place in a beauty school setting. I had the uncomfortable feeling that the person being trained was unlicensed and would be working on clients there in the salon. Another issue: Lily wasn't wearing a mask and kept coughing in my face. She did an adequate job on my nails, but it did not measure up to other manicures I have had. The pedicure was not so great. She left my feet feeling rough, and the massage lasted for just a moment. There was no effort to make this a pleasant experience, which it definitely was not. This is my favorite nail salon by far! This is the first one I have been to in Salem, I usually go in McMinnville, and they exceeded all my expectations! They are the first shop that has gotten the coffin shape of my nails perfectly the way I wanted them and they did a beautiful job. They even stayed an hour late to finish all of our nails, I was with two friends, and all of our nails looked amazing! They are a little pricier than what I'm used to but I figured it was worth the price for the quality job they did. They also have a new line of beautiful glitter shellac colors that were hard to choose from, I wanted them all! 10/10 would recommend and I'm going back soon for a fill. read more

I was absolutely amazed by how my nails turned out. I've been to a lot of nail salons, and this has been one of the best ones yet. All of the ladies were nice, unlike a lot of other salons in Salem. One of the biggest things that make this salon really unique is that they offer nail art and better polish selections. The attention to detail is really emphasized at this salon, and you can tell that they really care about their work. The way that they shaped my nails so perfectly and fast blew my mind. I showed up about 10 minutes early, and they acted as if they had no idea I had an appointment. I overheard a woman complain that her appointment was for 30 minutes before mine and she was still waiting. Yikes! So one woman started my nails, then swapped out with a second woman. The second woman was doing my nails and two other peoples at the same time, so she kept hopping back and forth between us. I saw the other employees were doing the same too with other customers. It was incredibly frustrating, but I felt like I was too committed at that point, so I dealt with it. She cut me when she was standing my nails down. Innocent enough, but I also heard another girl get cut and actually yelp. It seems like nobody here is careful. I asked the woman for black nails with gold glitter (i showed her on their demo nails what I wanted..) you can see it the picture, there was barely any glitter. I asked her if she was going to put more on, and she said "you pick wrong nail." I asked her to bring me the nail set i had chosen from, and showed her side by side that my nails looked nothing like what i had picked out. She smiled, blew me off, and walked to another person and started their nails again.. at this point Ive been here for almost an hour and I'm pissed, so I grab my nail kit and tell them I'm leaving. My nails are absolutely atrocious, they are not finished and look terrible. I told them I would pay for them taking off my last color, but I'm not paying for this. I had a last minute pedicure here today before I attend a wedding because my normal place was fully booked. It met my expectations. The pedicure chairs are pretty comfy. The woman giving the pedicure was very friendly but she spoke quietly, and me being hard of hearing it was tough to understand her. I paid $46 for a pedicure with gel which I thought was a little on the pricey side due to the kind of establishment it is (it's nothing fancy or high end). No pain, no bleeding, no burning, no fighting to get what I want, no "fixing" when I got home. My nails are exactly what I requested. I got a mani/ pedi, and I have to say I've had better. On my pedi, the tech managed to scrape up my toe with the file so badly, she drew blood. Owwww! The good: Wait time was only about 5 min. I got a shellac manicure and pedicure and the color and application was great. The not good: I was cut, not once, but twice. Once on my toe (I didn't notice till I got home) and on my finger. The lady doing my nails apologised but it bled for a bit and she just continued on painting over the blood. I also had a reaction to something the put on my feet and legs (broke out in a rash) but I understand that's not their fault. And lastly, the price. I had a shellac mani and pedi (one solid color), and paid for a child's mani pedi. $120!!! I've never in my life have paid that much. The lady didn't speak English very well so she brought out a calculator and would just point at my hands and feet then add numbers. I thought, what, everyone actually died when they walked through the door? Ladies, please stop exposing yourselves to these toxic fumes, it can't possibly be healthy. You deserve better. Unfortunately I will not be going back for acrylic nails here. I had to get my nails done for an important event, and my friend recommended this place. When I arrived for my appointment, I was given a huge ring with a bunch of nail polish options, which was great. I put it down on the table in front of me to pick a color, and the nail tech (who had been chatting with someone who I am assuming was another employee, and another male), without removing the ring of color options (which stayed under my wrists until she was about to nail the tips on), started cutting my nails, and using the grinder, barely looking at my nails while grinding. My cuticles were never cut nor pushed back either. I came in with a specific look in mind (almond nails), and I showed her a picture of what I wanted. Her first mistake was cutting the nail too angular, so once she had finished putting the powder on and filing, the nails looked like worn down cat-claw/stiletto nails rather than almond shaped. When she was using the thick toothpick-like grinding tool, she didn't push my skin away from where it was stuck to the powder that fell under the nail... so after all the grinding and ensuing pushing and filing, I was left with multiple cuts on my fingers where the nail meets the skin, which burned like no other and still hurt a few days later. So now I have painful fingers, uneven acrylic nails that look bubbly/chunky, acrylic powder wasn't applied uniformly to all nails, they are not the right shape, and some are crooked. I will have to wait until after the event to get them fixed. Unknown to me at the time, I had a friend with a similar experience. It seems this place is great for gel nails, but fall short of expectations for acrylics. read more

First time and I am in love with the results. Had the white girl, not sure if there's more than one. I had a shellac color change. One downside was she suggested regular polish for the paw print she drew so later that day it smudged a little but maybe she's right that the shellac polish doesn't work best for small designs? I don't do nails so I trusted her word but I'm still disappointed, it didn't make sense she couldn't use shellac polish. That's my only complaint about the actual work. I was also upset that they didn't do an actual manicure, only redid my shellac; no cleaning of the cuticles, no hand massage. Apparently I needed to say that I wanted a manicure beforehand but why isn't it obvious when someone comes in to get their nails done that it should be assumed they want all parts of their nails taken care of, not just painted. If I just wanted painted nails, I would do them myself. Pretty dumb it's not included in the price but I guess I'll know better next time.
