First time here. Had an amazing time with my mom. We got pedicures here. Lucia and Crystal greeted us and we were given warm neck wraps. You do have to climb up a couple of steps to get onto the recliner, but they help you and it was really comfortable. $75 for pedicures with regular or gel polish. If you have gel it is extra to remove. We got regular polish. I chose this place because I can't handle nail salon fumes and they have Zoya products here. One of the polishes from another brand there definitely had a super strong smell and gave me a bit of a headache. However, we had the room to ourselves which was nice and they had air purifiers going. The massage was gentle and wish it were a bit stronger, but other than that Lucia and Crystal took great care of us and we did feel like we had a spa experience. They offered us a second set of neck wraps mid service which was wonderful. I would love to come back and would definitely recommend Lucia and Crystal. The spa was decorated for Christmas and felt cute and cozy. read more

I'm very disappointed. I had come in here for a deep tissue massage and pedicure with gel polish. After the pedicurist didn't have time for what I wanted color wise, I went with a solid color. A few weeks after I went to have my toes done while of town working and as they removed the polish (which was not gel by the way) that Simply Blissed had put on, you could see my previous color under it. She did not remove all of my color. For the price that I paid for Simply Blissed this was a huge disappointment. I will return for another massage as it was AMAZING but never again for a pedicure. read more

Simply Blissed is a warm and welcoming environment with a very friendly staff. I received the Ultimate Organic Facial from Jade, and it was by far the best facial ever. I highly recommend Jade, she is outstanding. I have had many facials, massages, and other related services over my life, and this topped those experiences. I booked an appointment for a pedicure less than 24 hours before the time of the appointment then discovered that they offer only one type of regular pedicure, an hour-long service for $75 with hot stones, which I don't like. I called them as soon as they opened the day of the appointment and they refused to cancel the appointment without charging me a cancellation fee - for not cancelling more than 24 hours prior to the appointment! There are times when a supposed service should know when to bend the rules rather than insisting on a ridiculous policy that only alienates potential customers. How could I give 24 hours notice when the appointment was booked less than 24 hours ahead? I DO NOT RECOMMEND that you book with or use a spa which enforces such an unreasonable instance of their cancellation policy. read more

Had a couples massage with my wife. Great service, atmosphere, and friendly staff. Massage was very relaxing. Just one little gotcha. During the massage, they use hot wet towels to open pores and wipe excess oil off (just a guess). But, one towel was sour. Had the smell like it had been left in the washer too long. My wife noticed it immediately. I showered and had to wash my face twice after showering to try and get the smell out of my skin. read more

I am a former employee, but a forever friend and fan. The new spa is gorgeous. But it's the people at Simply Blissed that make the place really special. Sandy, the owner, is one of my favorite people I've worked for. And I'm a massage therapist who has worked in 4 different states in the last 7 years with a whole load of amazing people. And I can say that out of any place I've been Simply Blissed is the only spa I've worked at multiple times. The Eminence skin care products speak for themselves and so I'd like to speak up for the angels I've worked with at the spa. Kimmie gives the best facials, truly. Jordan knows how to make everyone laugh. Nicole has a sweet and gentle touch. Joy is a rockstar therapist. Robin has top notch professionalism. Charlene is one of my favorite humans in Salem. The services I've received over the years have been fine to exceptional. However I have two issues. 1) The turnover. I like to stick with one person and there is too much turnover here. 2)The prices! Oy. They've gone dramatically up since they went "gratuity free" (which I don't like anyway because it should be the customer's prerogative to tip and how much based on the service received). They went from $45 for a pedi to now $68! That's a lot and makes enough of a difference that I can no longer go for services as often as I'd like to. Also, my favorite pedicurist is, once again, gone. You'd think with the prices they charge that it would keep staff loyal, but it doesn't appear so. Makes me wonder how much of that "gratuity" is going to the staff and how much is going to the business. And one more thing. There is never enough room for pedicures, only 4 chairs. That's just not enough for summer season when demand is high. Even if you have enough staff, they have nowhere to perform the service. I'd go back again if some things changed, but right now this long time customer is disillusioned. read more

Well my boyfriend lives in Vegas and found you guys online to get me a massage. I have to say that my massage was not at all that great. I asked for deep pressure and it wasn't. Then I came in this evening to get the full pedicure with massage and when I told her she didn't have to go light she told me, "I'm not a licensed massage therapist so I'll do what I can." I was really looking forward to this after a stressful work week and instead of a massage it was more of a rub. Hardly any pressure at all. Not a massage. And I could tell that the lady next to me was getting a much better massage with more pressure. I am really bummed out. The lay back chair was nice. First off, the place is beautiful and the people are very kind and friendly. The pedicure I received was the worst pedicure I've ever seen. I have received inexpensive pedicures that were much, much better. The person who did my pedicure filed down my toes to the point where they were bleeding, the sides were cut too far in and I fear for an ingrown toenail, and the polish situation was insane. I was told that it would take 12 to 24 hours to dry my toes and that I should not wear covered shoes at all. Two days later I put on a pair of sandals and actually got a crease in my nail polish due to the still Not completely dried polish. I was really hesitant to give this negative of a review but I felt that was important to share what happened so that others would not have this occur to them. read more

Normally I have had great experiences with Simply Blissed. It's frustrating to now make appointments and every time they either have to cancel or change. You can not guarantee that what you book is what you will get. Just be mindful that you have to have a completely open schedule to work with them or they won't have openings for over a month. The least they could do is offer 10% off for the inconvenience. read more

My wife made an appointment online at another nail salon to have her nail color changed. We live in California and are in Salem for my sisters wedding and made an appointment for her about a week in advance. My wife showed up to the the appointment early and was immediately turned away because she had gel and they double booked the appointment time. Instead of being helpful and coming up with a solution, they told her they did not have time and would not even help in recommending a new place for her. We drove around trying to find another place that would be able to take her and found Simply Blissed. They welcomed my wife with open arms and were extremely nice and accommodating even without an appointment. My wife couldn't be happier with Simply Blissed and will definitely be back if we find ourselves in Salem again! read more

I just had a 60-minute deep tissue massage with Sara. I'm not used to this type of massage but my experience here has always been 5-star. Simply Blissed was simply wonderful. This was my first full spa experience and they far exceeded my expectations. I had a 60 min Swedish massage, 45 min foot soak/massage and a 90 min facial. All for about $190. Plus they accept spa finder gift cards which saved even more money. All of the staff seem very knowledgable about their products. I have a lot of allergies and each person who helped me listened and took the time to make sure that the products they were using worked for me. The staff and owner were all super friendly as well. We were visiting from Seattle and would definitely drive down to Salem just to visit Blissed again. read more

Last weekend I went for a deep tissue massage here and everything just worked out perfectly. I called the morning of and they fit me in. My massage therapist, Sarah, was great! I requested a little deeper of a pressure, and it wasn't awkward at all like it is sometimes. She was super sweet and accommodating. I needed Kleenex a couple times and she didn't hesitate to get it for me (I felt like I was being a pain! lol but she was totally cool about it and made me feel like it was no big deal). This level of service was appreciated very much! Also, the paperwork requires your birthday. The front desk gal noticed mine had just passed a couple days prior and she greeted me with birthday chocolates after my treatment. So thoughtful! I just loved that! I've had several excellent massages with Candi and an overall great experience at this spa. Candi is professional, kind, and very skilled; I'm pretty picky with massages, and I was very impressed by her. She managed to seriously dig into my achey muscles and work out some major knots while still leaving me completely relaxed and jello-like by the end. (I got the "therapeutic" massage - $70 for 60 min, $95 for 90, and she also does swedish massage, which is a tiny bit cheaper.) Other bonuses - you can book online (and get text and/or email reminders), there's off-street parking in back, and the lovely lady at the front desk greets you with an offer of tea and a warm neck pillow. The best massage I've had! My boyfriend and I had a couples massage today and it awesome. We got there and were greeted by a nice girl who got us waters and warm neck wraps while we waited for the massage therapists. When massage therapists came a got us, they were super nice too and they took us back to the room which was all set up for us. It smelled great and the beds were warm and comfy. My massage therapist was Michelle and she used just the right amount pressure and it felt so good! I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I will totally be back!! read more

I had an appointment for a gel polish manicure with Malinda & was beyond satisfied with the service I received. She was amazing, she took her time, and even went out of her way to try something new to make my nails look even better! (Mermaid nails-- apparently it's the new trend right now!) If your goal is to feel Blissed Out after a couple hours at a local day spa -- go here!!! I've been getting massages & facials for years all over the country, so I can say with legit experience that the folks at Blissed Out know what they're doing when it comes to making you feel well pampered & luxuriously attended to before, during & after your treatments. I was surprised & impressed that when I arrived on time for my Appt but not early for the paperwork (my bad) instead of rightfully hurrying me along they said No Worries. Then, the woman behind the front desk insisted on bringing me fresh lemon water to sip while I filled out the paperwork, and one of the practitioners brought me a warm yummy neck pillow to drape around my weary shoulders! I felt pampered the moment I walked in the door!! My massage treatment by Candy was wonnnnnderful and included excellent touch by a skilled & communicative practitioner as well as the option of aromatherapy (I chose lavender, mmmm!) and an array of YUMMMMMY hot damp towels around my feet, the back of my neck and at one point a nice run across my back. Wow! I've had a lot of massages over the years -- including at resort spas in Maui and Californja -- but few that felt as luxurious as this. After that dreamy hour, I slipped on my waiting creamy waffle robe & slippers & traveled on to my facial. Ahhhh.... I wish I could offer details but by this point I was so relaxed that I simply blissed out and fell into a delicious sleep, forgetting about the chaos of my present Life & waking up to Mya saying, "We're all done and You look Gorgeous!" She was Right!! Thanks to these Miracle Workers (and possibly the organic Eminence product line) I looked a few years younger! Lines were seriously GONE for to my face and I swear no one at the spa paid me to write this !!! I asked for the Eminemce treatment that's closest to microdermabrasion so Mya worked that into my treatment & applied some lovely mineral cosmetics at the end of the facial. I was treated to a full spa day for my birthday, something I have always wanted to do, and could only dream of. I was gifted the simply bliss package and asked my mom to go with me. We enjoyed a massage, a facial and, a pedicure. Our specialist were kind and respectful of our needs. My complaint is with the lack of communication from the receptionist and manager. Somehow my mothers card and my card was charged the full amount of the service. We were double charged! Only to find out days later When I go to use my card and I get declined. No one from the spa chose to contact either one of us about their mistake. I have contacted them many times, trying to speak to the manager and I only get the receptionist. My mother has written emails with no responses. My family is unable to purchase things that we need because of their mistake and their unwillingness to help is awful! I was gifted a massage to Simply Blissed. Had no idea what to expect. I went online to make my appointment and chose Jenn (Jennifer). The outside of the building doesn't do justice to the inside. It is surprisingly large. When I arrived, I was offered flavored water and a neck warmer. Jennifer came out to greet me and took me to the room. There was soothing music and the table was heated. She was most accommodating and I can honestly say that I have never received a better massage! read more

This place is great inside. As soon as you walk in, it's a calm feeling. I think they are well known for massages. But I would not recommend this place for a pedicure. I took my mom for a pedicure, and we were taken into the pedicure room with really high up chairs (kind of uncomfortable to sit). Pedicures were very very VERY mediocre. Nothing special about them. I think $30 pedicure are worth it as soon as you put your feet in the foot soak with jets. This place puts your feet in a bowl with rocks and warm water for 20 seconds. Then starts to clip nails and clean cuticles. Barely files the nail or buffs it!!!! Total time spent is 35 mins for that! Very slow and not the best job at all. And moves onto massage for 15 mins. The worse massage given that this place is big on massages, and barely felt any movement on my feet or legs. The chairs are so high, they have to stand up to massage. My moms pedicurist looked tired and she said she barely moved her hands. After the worse massage, they move onto painting the nails. Cheapest nail polishes I've seen and not much of a selection. Bring your own if you come for a pedicure! There are no drying tools here, lol! She said it will take 12-24 hours to dry. Wtf? All this for $65!!! NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! read more
