Have come here ever since I was a wee little one. My dad used to take me here every week that we were on a first name basis with the owners. It really was a treat! I am not sure if it's because I've grown older and found that their donuts are not as tasty as before but that's just basically what happened. The cost of their donuts are a bit higher than some and the taste just does not fulfill my donut cravings like they used to. The owners are the sweetest and you will usually find this place packed with people, either it be in the morning or afternoon. THE BEST DONUT SHOP IN TOWN. Donut Tree, or what my family likes calling Tree Nut, has a wide selection of delicious and fresh donuts. We hit up this spot nearly every week! The lady who's usually there later at night is EXTREMELY generous! Loving the size of the donuts for less the price. Donuts here are pretty awesome as the size of the donut is as big as a hamburger but less than $1. Staff there are friendly but very to the point. If there are people in line and stuff, there is a feeling of pressure and hurry the heck up vibe from them. I would usually get the sugar, maple, and glaze donut. I haven't tried out any of their chocolate or filling ones. I must recommend eating it the same day. Overnight donuts doesn't taste that great (unless you can heat it up in the microwave for 7 seconds). The donut just isn't as good. You can watch the owners hand make every batch with great care and that kind of love and dedication can be tasted. I walked in here at 2 am welcomed by the sweet smell of donuts baking. The cook acknowledged me with a smile and asked how he can help me. "A dozen donuts," I say. The display racks were half full and I was somewhat worried that perhaps the donuts were made much earlier during the day. There isn't really any specialty donuts. The only donut I saw out of the norm was the blueberry donut. I looked around as he grabbed my dozen and when he returned he could barely close the lid. Perhaps the 6 twists I ordered took a lot of space. He sealed the pink box with some tape and told me to be careful. "$9," he says with a smile and when I give him the money he tells me to have a nice night. I get home 30 minutes later to a hungry daughter and when she opened the lid she gasp and said, "how many did you order?" I took a look and behold over a dozen donuts. 18 to be exact. I grabbed a twist and took a bite. It was so soft! If I had no teeth, I could still eat the donut. I tried the blueberry and there was pieces of blueberry inside. It had a crisp outside with a soft interior. All the donuts tasted fresh. Although you won't find a bacon topped donut or any other specialty donut here, the classics are still delicious. Even late at night when you get the cravings you can stop by here 24 hours a day and expect a soft donut. I will definitely come back when the late night donut urge strikes again. read more

This just might be my new go-to local donut shop for one reason...... BLUEBERRY DONUTS! Yes, that's it. Blueberry donuts. I had my first one of these savory creations back in February at the Donuttery and it was game over. BEST DONUT EVER MADE. Worth every calorie. Came here specifically for those and they were kind enough to side aside six of them when I called. The other donuts were pretty good, too. I would recommend the maple bar, but the chocolate bar was just... meh. Couldn't taste the chocolate flavor too much. A dozen will cost you $8.99. The dozen price is a little steep, but that's because I compare every donut shop to the Donuttery now. Service could also improve, since the employees weren't all that friendly and didn't even smile once. The fact they take credit cards is a plus. read more
