Donut Den Apple Fritter

Great Fresh cream puffs with strawberries and delish cinnamon rolls, Apple Fritters & regular donuts!!! Friendly service in the cozy local donut house. Good coffees too.

This is a frequent stop whenever I'm looking to pickup donuts for my staff before finishing off the work week. Every time I bring them in, someone asks me where I got them and comments on how fresh and yummy they taste! The service is always great even though it is always so busy. I will say though that if you're in a rush, you may want to go elsewhere because you will usually have to wait at least a little bit. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try though and allot yourself enough time. Now I'm craving a donut!

Wasted my time coming here on my break during work. They were not open at 5:00AM on Sunday 12/22. I went at 5:15. A bunch of donuts but the store was closed. Get it together thats ridiculous.

If you're looking for an old school donut shop with an awesome variety, this is your place. There are so many modern pastry places in Sonoma County (and I those as well), but some days you just want the simple pleasures of yesteryear...Donut Den HITS THE SPOT!

Just came to Donut Den for the first time. Great service and delicious donuts and iced coffee omg! I got their glazed donut that wasn't super sweet but so delicious. Their crumb donut was crispy and crunchy. Great flavor. They made my iced coffee fresh and it was busy there. I recommend bringing cash unless you are getting something over $5. They do charge for using your card. I had cash so it was fine. This donut shop is only a walk from my office! I might go and try their Asian food that they serve for lunch. Ps: just tried their Won ton soup! Incredible!! Also the two men working are the sweetest people ever. Don't forget to tip. Excellent service.

I am a doughnut kind of sore. I am very, very, very serious about my donuts. Every city that I visit I try to find a local donut spot. Do not offend me with Duncan, krispy, or duck, etc. These are not real donuts. Donut den is a level one donut place. Pretty basic, relatively tasty, nothing special. Not horrible but not amazing. I'm intrigued by the donut culture in Northern California where you can get both Vietnamese or Thai food along with your donuts.

I needed to score something to treat my work people and options are limited at 6:30 in the morning but the Donut Den was ready to go. A dozen of their fancy fried doughy confections was enough to satisfy the whole crew. Definitely a cut above the chains. The Boston Creams were massive and packed with custard and the chocolate cake donuts were moist and light. The apple fritters went over well too.

SO many croissant, muffins, bread, cake, and other pastries to choose from. You can never leave with just one (hence my order of 5 items) Coffee is also delish and the quality of all the food is top tier. Lovely customer service as well. Nice outdoor seating on a sunny day :)

They have specialty shelf stable chocolate and snacks and a display full of beautiful desserts! ** pistachio cream puff (4.5/5): unlike the more traditional choux shell, this one was laminated like croissant dough-- fun! The cream was also thick enough to not leak everywhere and didn't taste artificial. Really enjoy this one! ** strawberry and cream chiffon cake slice (3.5/5): didn't really feel like a chiffon cake or maybe it was on the drier side. It worked well with the mascarpone frosting though, which was smooth and a little too rich for me by itself. There wasn't too much strawberry besides the sweet jam layer in the middle. ** Brutta mi buoni (4/5): translated to "ugly but delicious," this craggly meringue actually caught my eye and curiosity for its looks. I'm usually not a fan of meringues, but this one was loaded with nuts and was tasty. Kind of tastes like a refined version of those Lucky Charms cereal marshallows in a good way! Happy with my little haul at Stellina Pronto! They were friendly and had a few window seats + outdoor seating. I'll probably stop by next time I'm in the area to try some new items. Definitely check them out if you're nearby!

Simple but blunt review:…read more Pros- This coffee shop is cute and has a unique edgy, but cute contemporary vibe. The staff is generally friendly and the service has been mostly great. The drip coffee has not been bad in my experience, and I've enjoyed and tolerated my espresso drinks as well. Cons - The prices. There is not justification for me to visit the Pink Owl daily or even weekly, because of the prices. I live in the vicinity of Pink Owl and have not visited it more than 30 times in two years because of the prices. I know Petaluma wants to pay their employees high wages and be progressive and what not and an undisclosed amount of $$ go to cancer research, and that's great, but who ends up having to fork out more money to fund this? EVEN with the occasional $2 off, $5 off rewards, it is cheaper to go elsewhere. "You've earned a reward" is a message not worth looking forward to, because you still end up having to shill out more money than expected. What's the point of $5 off if I still have to pay an additional $4 for a large cup of hot milk and a dash of espresso in the guise of a latte? Pink Owl is not quality enough for the prices. Petaluma has great quality coffee and Espresso in abundance. It sucks because it's a cute shop that I would enjoy if it wasn't for that slight little hiccup. On that note, I don't know a single Petaluma local that raves about Pink Owl or religiously visits them or even talks about them. I can say they do rave about other coffee shops though. I'll drop by when I win the lottery.

Red Bird happens to have an excellent gluten free muffin, as well as a to-die-for gluten free brownie. This morning, I had the cranberry orange GF muffin and it was so good. The flavors felt very holiday and the muffin was the perfect texture. My wife loves their breakfast sandwiches, but she is not a huge fan of their English muffins so she gets them on sourdough bread. Red Bird makes all their breads and they are really great quality. If you ever come in for lunchtime then their artisan pizza is the main attraction. They make some really wonderful, unique pizzas that you can get a slice or two and enjoy! Red Bird also offers good coffee here (Retrograde!) and other hot drinks. Plus, they do cakes and desserts to order. We have ordered their Yule Log for several Christmas's in the past, and we order cakes here for birthdays. The service here is always friendly and helpful, and we love sitting at their long, wooden tables when there is time to eat at the cafe. I like their dining area, which feels very communal and fun. If you haven't been here before then come and check it out!

I'm actually glad it's not closer to home, because I'd be here all the time. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the whole place has a great 1950s diner vibe with old photos, memorabilia, and music from that era. I had the eggs benedict both mornings, once with the house potatoes and once with the hash browns. Both potato sides were excellent. The house potatoes had crispy bits, creamy centers, and a dollop of sour cream, while the hash browns were crisp outside and soft inside. I swear I cannot make potatoes like that at home. The eggs benedict were also outstanding. Instead of a thin slice of ham or Canadian bacon, they used a real ham steak. I love eggs benedict, and these were some of the best I've had. My partner had the chicken fried chicken one morning and chicken and waffles the next, and loved both. He also shared a biscuit with me, which was very good.
