Such a cute place! I stopped by and had dinner with some friends. Great drinks! The food was great! Has the fajitas and was not disappointed! Every employee was so attentive and friendly. If you're looking for some great food. This is your place.

The food was awesome. Came out hot and fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and atmosphere was nice. We have eaten here several times and always a great dining experience. Would recommend Don Carlos for great Mexican food.

Fantastic meals! A couple of the servers had been great and it wasn't as slow! It was an awesome place that had great decor and the room just had a comfortable atmosphere.

Extremely good service at 4pm. Great decor and the food was typical of an average TexMex restaurant. The chips are worth mentioning. Large menu with big drinks. Drink specials.

Best texmex in the area. If you're gonna have a beer, pass on the bottle one, they are way over priced. Go for what's on tap

It was amazing and I usually hate pour cheese because it makes the chips soggy, but apparently they put it in the oven and crispified ( my word) , and then topped with the cold fixings. I had to get more jalapeños because there wasn't enough. Then we split a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, nice size, also delicious! It too came with the beer cheese and American but I had them put it on the side. Sandra was our server, awesome! Never bothered by me constantly needing something!! Loved her energy!! I ordered a blue moon and for some reason the cook found it offensive that we asked for a glass and oranges. From that point on, it was a staring contest with the cook standing at the kitchen opening staring at us, making comments about the glass and I guess making sure my 21 year old daughter didn't drink the beer, lol. The cook then stood at the kitchen door with her phone to video us for some reason, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL The food was less than spectacular, and definitely won't eat there again. Rude service, rude employees, take our advice spend your money somewhere else. Also no one that was touching the food even had gloves on. I watched our waitress make our salad with no gloves. Upon arriving we noticed the big parking lot, good location, and when we walked in we were greeted immediately. Inside was nicely decorated, dimly lit, and clean. We promptly got sat on a Sunday afternoon, and quickly got served water, got our drink orders, and food orders put in. The brunch menu is from 12-3, with mimosas and bloody Maria's. The bloody was really nice - could tell it had tequila! Old fashion was nice not overly Smokey. Onto the food, the tamales were some of the best I've had. They were HUGE. They came with birria, great consume, flavorful poblano rice, delicious poblano and corn cream (something of that nature) was so creamy and was GREAT. I couldn't believe how hot and fresh everything was. It was some of the best Mexican I've had. My husband enjoyed his chicken as well - it was tender and juicy, good char on the pineapple too. The portions were huge and we didn't eat it all. Good thing we didn't, the chef gave us complimentary dessert (ice cream because we're gluten free)! It was our first time and we'd love to go back. Everything looked and sounded great. Good margarita options, the flight was ordered by the table next to us! The overall cost for us two, although not the worst, but definitely not a cheap brunch was $110 with tip. Hot sauce was $2.50 on the side. A nice treat with friendly staff and good food, but not if you're looking to save some money.

Other subsequent customers had to wait as well. The place is very dark inside with the theme of a jungle of plastic plants hanging overhead. There appeared to be a few real plants, but it was too dark to confirm that. The food is tasty, but overpriced for what you get. We had the feeling the money is being spent on the decor or the lease on the building rather than the food. The potential is there for a better deal without the hype. It's a "been there done that " place for me.

A party of 30-35 people all still in full wedding attire flooded in around the same time, and the staff handled everything with incredible grace and expertise. Not a single order was messed up, and every guest was taken care of beautifully. The team that night Noel, Bella, Natalie, Sadie, and Brigs was outstanding. They truly felt like a local extension of our family. Beyond serving delicious tacos and making sure everyone was happy, they went above and beyond: signing our wedding cards with the sweetest, most thoughtful notes, and even snapping photos of the wedding party to capture those special moments. It was truly phenomenal and made the night even more memorable. We've loved Taco Mama for years and have never had a bad experience here. If there's ever been the tiniest issue (which is rare), the managers and team are immaculately on point in rectifying it right away. Brigs and the other managers worked out all the logistics with us ahead of time, making the whole planning process smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for fresh, tasty food in a fun atmosphere or need a spot that can handle a big group like a wedding party with warmth and professionalism Taco Mama Daphne is the place. The atmosphere is very sports bar esk so don't expect the glam and glitz of a high end stop. We ended up getting the Steak Taco (singular not multiple please note) which was a surprise for the $10 price tag - one taco ? We also opted for the steak on a stick appetizer, this time 2 small portions, you guessed it $10. I am sure this spot will appeal to the financially stable crowd but we found the portions to be small and prices to be large (in comparison). The quality of the food was good, not great. For the premium price we would expect high end taste. At the end of the day, a definate no repeat for us - onward and upward.

Our waitress friendly and bubbly was there quickly to take our drink order. She checked on us frequenly. We started with the Boudreaux's egg rolls, they were awesome great texture crispy outside and soft avacado inside with a lot of flavor and great dipping sauce. Next I had the shrimp creole, with a substitute of side for gumbo. Both were very tasty and prepared perfectly, she had the black and bleu salad, the steak was very tasty and bleu cheese, well its bleu cheese and good bleu cheese. Last, we ordered an order of beignet's they were pretty good, a little on the heavy / dense side. The place was a little on the quiet side tonight despite the dining area being pretty full. One thing worth noting, we have noticed on our last two visits here the servers not clearing plates from the table when a persons is obviously finished eating either by the plate being pushed to the side or the universal silverware placement indicating, I am done eating. This time I had to ask her to clear the table before she brought anything else to the table. She was happy to do it, so maybe this timely removal of plates is not obvious, nor has it been explained/ taught by anyone. Service is important, this falls under the basics, if you are headed to the kitchen, do not go empty handed. Just a thought to improve the level of service. We will return.
