Note: not a dog wash...this is a food establishment! Hidden gem you should put on your list. Interesting location but not quite visible on first glance. Tucked away in a small plaza next to a hotel. If you like root beer...then it is a must have and try. Served in a frosted mug (pictured). They have other handcrafted sodas. We had the Fuji dog, French dip, chili cheese dog, garlic fries and ube chocolate chip chip cookie. Delicious! We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. So many different toppings on fries, sausages, gourmet dogs, burgers and sandwiches still to try! They have a kids menu and dessert as well. read more

Best Gourmet Hot Dogs in Town! I've come here a few times and the food and service is always great. If you like hot dogs, I highly recommend stopping by this diner. Quality ingredients and fresh batch of toppings are prepared daily, they also have some local beers on tap and make a tasty root beer float. The restaurant is clean and there's plenty of free parking. This spot is located off the 15 in Temecula on Jefferson st. read more

Awesome place! I love the classic feel and look to the restaurant. Owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Not to mention a huge menu at that, with lots to chose from! The root beer was the best I've ever had! No joke. He said the family recipe is over 100 years old. I got the chili cheese dog and my fiancée and I shared the epic fries. Everything was so tasty and fresh. We don't visit this area too frequently but when we do I'll make sure to come back to this spot and show my family and friends. Thank you :) read more

Well I guess this review won't matter as much now since this place closed down... I was feeling a hot dog so decided to come here for dinner based on the selections, they definitely have something for everyone here. I ordered the elite corn dog which was pretty tasty... the bread they use I think basically tasted like a Texas toast! I don't remember what my wife ordered but it was tasty... the fries were good but the bacon got to feel a little too much towards the end.., and the kids meal was just a basic hot dog and fries For a little over $30, I guess it was decent.., I sorta felt like trash after but it's because I don't generally eat food like this so I don't really knock it for that. Bummer that such a unique place like this couldn't make it read more

I absolutely adore this place. From the moment I walked in, until I got my food and talking to the owner I believe. When I first walked in, it was empty but I was greeted with such attention and care. I'm not sure if that was the manager or what bur he was awesome. He explained tge menu, specials, and what most people order. I came in specifically for the elote dog. I brought my 2 dogs in their stroller and it was just a friendly environment. It was friday and I came in at 3 so I got the happy hour prices. A gourmet hot dog and any beer for 12.95! To me that us a steal! My husband got the polish sausage with sliced beef and sauce. 5 stars just bc that was one of the best hot dogs I've had. My elote dog gad perfect grilled corn and tasty bacon bits. Next time I'll ask for more elote sauce, I mean the cream. I tasted my husband's meal. I loved the texture and how meaty the polish sausage was. If I had that in my elote dog, that'd be the perfect hot dog for me! Yum!! I also loved the original flag on the wall! The decor was just so awesome! I can't wait to try more stuff here! read more

Thank you Uncle Tito for the hospitality! My wife and I had no idea this place existed until we decided to grab a good old fashioned hot dog (NOT COSTCO). The restaurant is styled as a 1950s diner with the and I love it. This place is tucked away right next to SpringHills Suite Hotel. We had the Chicago and Coney Island Dog with a side of chili cheese fries AND the house sangria. We'll be back and so should you! "Exceptional quality. Delightfully delicious " read more

I could see Dog & Suds from the highway, so finally tried it. Nothing spectacular for fancy hot dogs. The place was quiet, but for customers waiting for food to be prepared. It felt like we were all bored from waiting too long. One young lady taking orders and One young man in the kitchen by himself. I tried their basic dog and it was OK, with plenty of toppings. Many dogs to choose from, all just below $10. Fries selections started at nearly $4. The dining area was clean and very nicely decorated. Overall, not interested in returning for a pricey lunch. read more

Came in here on a Thursday around 2:30pm and it was empty. The man who helped us at the counter was extremely friendly and while I was looking at the old photos on the wall, had said that his parents were the original founders I believe. So, me and my husband finally made it here. We both ordered the chili dog except my husband opted to now have his bacon wrapped. The hot dog and chili were good but for some reason there was an over powering taste of salt on both of our hot dogs. We finally realized it was the bread that was super salty. Not sure if salt spilled or if this is the normal way the bread tastes. We will give this place one more try as the service was great and the orange cream soda was really good. read more

This place was good when they first opened. Now, it's just gone downhill. The hot dogs are no longer Vienna. So, no it's definitely not a Chicago dog. The salt or whatever they put on them is terrible. It tasted horrible. I took two bites and tossed it. People working were nice though. read more

I've been meaning to try Dog n' Suds for quite a while. I saw they have an open mic night on Mondays so we finally made it in. It's got that 50s diner/ hole in the wall feel to it but with a modern digital menu behind the counter next to the local beers and merch selection. The folks behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Obviously, there is a huge selection of dogs to choose from as well as burgers, many fry options and some hot sandwiches. I went with a classic, the coney dog, classic fry, and root beer float. Made to order, the food was hot and fresh. Good quality hot dog with tasty chili, cheese, and onions on top. The fries were delicious. Crispy and flavorful, I dipped mine in the ketchup provided and washed it down with the float (plus several refills on the root beer. You could come here every day for a month and have a different entree every time. They also do breakfast on the weekends and that looks great too. Stop by on a Monday for some live music on the open mic or Thursday for the $5 drink specials. read more

Had an Italian Beef sandwich and it was very good, fries were thin overcooked and .much too salty. I don't know why it's taken me so long to write this review but this is one of our favorite spots. This place cannot be beat. I consistently get the Chicago dog and it is truly the best I've had. The root beer is homemade and it's delicious. My husband really enjoys the Italian beef sandwich. They have a lot of fun fries, pictured here is just the regular ones but they have elote fries, etc. we've tried a few and all were good. Tito, the owner is very friendly, he will walk you through the whole menu and help you pick the best options. Don't miss out and give this local business a try! We started eating so fast that we forgot to take a picture of our dogs and fries! Today was our first time at Dog n Suds Drive In and we were not disappointed. We tried the Fuji Dog and Maxwell Street Polish Dog and shared the Elote fries. Everything was fantastic: quality dogs, crispy fries, great toppings, and toasty, buttery buns. Dogs N Suds..It's kinda got the 50's-60's diner vibe when you walk in with its decor and music. They have a variety of hot dogs, brats, burgers, fries, alcohol and sodas. I ordered the "Fuji" dog. It's got furikake seaweed sprinkles, bacon wrapped hot dog,Tonkatsu sauce, Japanese Mayo, and fried onion on a toasted buttery bun! I wasn't sure about this one but the toppings lured me in and the flavors were spot on delicious! The Epic fries are fries topped with spicy chipotle aioli sauce, bacon pieces,Cotija and cheddar cheese. It was a bacony flavored heaven with a tad bit of heat to it the more I ate. Would we be back? Definitely! The staff was nice and there are so many choices that I'd like to check out their other hot dogs or burgers. Two thumbs up! read more

Today was my 3rd visit here over a 2 month period. I'm hesitant to leave reviews after visiting once, however this establishment has more than earned this 5-star. Dog n sudds is a mom and pop restaurant located just outside of old town. Each time i've come in, it's the same two gentlemen, Tito and Steve. They always greet me with the same positive energy and share with me the newest updates with their business. Today they proudly told me how they scored a major catering deal with a local corporation, and also added some new items on the menu. The only thing that outshines the customer service here would be the food. I've never been a huge fan of hot dogs but after my first experience i somehow found myself here not only a second but a THIRD time. Seriously guys the food here is no joke. They also have chimichurri fries which could be a lot better. If you seen real chimichurri you'll know that this could be a lot better.
