I was very surprised at the idea of using Hawaiian sweet bread as buns. The harmony of the sweet and salty is very exquisite. The staff is very well trained, and the restaurant is very clean and pleasing. My one regret is that the corn dogs are not good at all. In contrast to the love for hotdogs, the corndogs are at the level of frozen supermarket food, and the difference is too drastic. Just has lunch here during my lunch break. Food was okay, but service was slow as hell! There were probably more employees than customers, but somehow I still didn't get my meal before I nearly finished my drink. I definitely will not be back. Also not a fan of almost mandatory tips for counter service and budding my own table, but hey that's the world we live in today. I still tipped 15% which I think is generous given the circumstances. It was served on four connected slider buns instead of a single regular size hamburger bun which got a little messy in the car, but it was so tasty and delicious that I just put a napkin in my shirt collar like a little kid and dove in. I almost wasn't sure it was an impossible burger because it tasted like the real thing! Fries were good too. Definitely one of the best veggie burgers I've had. Sad to leave this review because I've been here before. My friend and I made an online order for a breakfast burrito (9a on a Sunday) and received a confirmation. You order from Bad Ass Burritos but when you arrive you're at the Dog Haus. I was delayed in the car and my friend went to pick up the food. He saw 1 guy and 2 girls behind the counter. No one greeted him. One girl came over, She couldn't find the order, asked the guy and both just gave my friend blank looks. No one offered to take a new order or assist him further. I came in a few minutes later and asked him what happened. None of the employees made eye contact and when I asked if they were going to try to make the order no one budged. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed. I also feel embarrassed to have recommended the Dog Haus to my friend. We didn't even get to try the burritos to know if they were any good. Don't know if these are Dog Haus employees or BA Burritos employees but they don't know anything about customer service. They make Dog Haus look bad and are bringing down your ratings. To give them the benefit of the doubt I did come in 40 minutes before closing but as a food worker myself, being near closing time doesn't excuse for poor customer service. Upon walking in I wasn't greeted by anyone so I had to place my order thru the kiosk. Wait time wasn't horrible but when a taller, light skinned girl with red hair called my name, I went up to the counter to grab my food and asked if everything was in the bag because she didn't provide any further support. Once I asked her she looked at me with a straight face and said yes while walking away. I also didn't receive a simple thank you, enjoy, or goodnight. Customer service from both the Carson staff and the corporate office is terrible. I should have known when purchased a gift card there would be trouble. The cashier gave me what looked like an old card and an envelope that was definitely used. When I went to use the gift card a few months later, I was told the card "didn't exist" and they couldn't find it ever being purchased. My card, receipt and bank statement proved otherwise. The manager walked away for over 30 minutes to help me and came back saying she found the purchase but doesn't know where the money went. She admitted the card was never used but couldn't find the money. My bank statement said it went to DOG HAUS!! She gave me a number that was supposed to be corporate office. Instead it was a number for employees. I left numerous messages and emails and was never contacted by anyone to help resolve my problem. NO ONE from their corporate office ever contacted me. That is such baffling customer service. Maybe someone will read this and contact me to give me my money back! (Doubtful) Don't go! read more

I've been meaning to try this place and the perfect opportunity arose on a weekend when I was waiting for one of my surgeries to start. I had heard great things about their burritos and wanted to try for myself. First of, this place is very well located in torrance. Easily accessible from the 405 and 101. Parking is very easy to come by as the shopping complex it's located in has its own FREE dedicated parking area (how often can you find free parking in LA). I had the cajun breakfast burrito and I was truly blown away. They make it fresh for you, not out of the freezer and thrown in the microwave/oven. The portion is great for the price and the burrito is very filling. But more importantly, it taste absolutely incredible. Both me and my coworker who came hear were very pleasantly surprised at how much flavor could be packed into a burrito. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Has indoor and outdoor seating and is in walking distance to plenty of shopping in the area. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back myself. read more
