Went to this location because it was highly recommended by a friend. Ordered on-line. Came to the restaurant 9a on Sunday and the guy on the grill just looked at me. No "Hello" or even "Good Morning" or anything. Two girls talking and one came over and asks if I had an order. I showed the confirmation (and the part that said successful order on my phone) She looks around and then tells me that there is no order. Again I show it to her and she just walks away. No offer to look for it or ask to get another started right away. No apology for the website not working or attempt to make the customer happy. The other guy does NOTHING !! This place was shockingly delicious! I'm not a fan of sausage dogs in any form, but it was good. I think the creativity of the menu is what won me over. I mean, everything comes with sweet Hawaiian rolls for buns. I had the Mule burger (I think, lol) and when I tell you...every bite just melts in your mouth haha! The beef patty is super tender and juicy too! Oh, and perfectly seasoned fries!! We came mid-day and sat in the patio area. We got our food fairly quickly! Service was great and their bathrooms were open for us to wash our hands. I only wish they had some type of paper towel in there so I could open the door after washing my hands without directly touching the door handle. I had my man push it open from the outside :) Parking is plentiful and free. There's a parking garage in the same building and is hard to miss. P.S. they gave us a military discount! I was originally looking for a business I saw online called Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos. I love breakfast burritos. Imagine my surprise when I discovered Dog Haus. I love Dog Haus. I couldn't find BABB so I went into DH. While there I discovered they now sell breakfast burritos. In fact, I believe this place to also be BABB. I ordered the Mule. It was everything a growing 50 something could ever want. They even bring out the delicacy with packets of Cholula. Gourmet hot sauce for a gourmet breakfast. A cool place for hot dogs and burgers, also some craft beers and cider on tap and canned house wines, they use all natural meats for sausages which is awesome. Sister had been here before, since they serve beer so I came with them this time for a late lunch. We ordered a whole bunch of things, a regular burger with pickles only, two corn dogs, turkey dog, tots, love boat which was tots in house chili with coleslaw and cheese fries. We loved it that they they use Hawaiian bread as buns which was so soft and yummy, everything was very tasty except the tots were a bit dry. I had two IPAs and a hard cider, two of them were $2 off cause it was after 3pm happy hour time. We also had two chocolate shakes and a salted caramel shake, they were fantastic. The food came out not too fast, but our waitress was very friendly that she even took away our empty plates even though this is a self serve fast casual restaurant. I've heard so many good things about Dog Haus, so I stopped by to try it out. Dog Haus creates antibiotic and hormone free food - burgers, hot dogs, sausages, and more. The buns are Hawaiian rolls which give the food a little sweetness. My meal was very fulfilling and definitely satisfied my food cravings. I really enjoyed Holy Aioli burger which came with smoked bacon, caramelized onions, white American cheese, and garlic aioli. Cheeseburger with 1000 Island dressing was delicious as well. I also tried corn dog, tater tots, and French fries. Overall everything was good. Great atmosphere, cool music selection. My friend ordered Bad Mutha Clucka, which is a ghost kitchen, in Dog Haus. They forgot a worker's chicken order. They forgot my fries. They also did not make my hot chicken hot. My other coworker and I both started eating and both agree we can taste the flavor of fish in the fried chicken. Either they reused the oil from fish fry for the chicken or the chicken is aging and should have not been served. It was served on Hawaiian rolls, which I was looking forward to initially. The problem is, the chicken was not cut to the size of the rolls, so when I tried to pick up one roll, the pickle slice and chicken from the other dinner roll came out with it. So I cut it and grabbed it, the whole thing was drenched in sauce and the rolls were soggy. I couldn't taste the coleslaw, if that's what is supposed to be in there. A total disappointment and I will definitely not get food from here anytime in the future. Lastly, with no signs saying Bad Mutha Clucka food orders are to be picked up at Dog Haus, you will drive around lost, not seeing any sign until you call or stop by to ask questions. read more

Hmm, so this is what I'd like to call a hipster place to enjoy a good twist on food but after ordering a variety of things, I don't think I'd try it again. We had a corn hot dog which was meh. The corn batter wasn't very corn like and didn't seemed to be very cooked. There wasn't a crunch as much as a sponge like texture. We also ordered some sliders, cowboy and some tots. What really pulled me to try this place is the tots. I live to find a place that sells tots. It's the nostalgic of it all. So yes, I came here for the tots and I'd come back. But the food is just okay. It's hipster-twist on food. And it shows in the prices. Wow what a pleasant surprise, as a front line worker I got an incredible discount on my sausage breakfast burrito. The staff was attentive and polite. This thing is so big, it is actually two meals. The sausage is the freshest and they brown the bite size chunks first to optimize the flavor profile, and they keep the tater tots so crispy. They grill the burrito so it too is crispy. The ambiance is real nice love the feature wall and their logo "The absolute Wurst" lol so cute right. They have a modern look and it pairs well with their fresh food vibes. They are conveniently located across from Carson City Hall. and I ate on the bench outside in the planter raised circle area in the shade.
