First off, let me start by saying the owner of this place is a very cool guy. Personable, and totally service oriented. The food, fresh and tasty. I had the dirty fries with raw onion as a garnish. We went on the recommendation of a friend. The order was called in a head of time with a 15-20min wait which was fine. After walking in at 15 there was another 25min wait. When our food was ready the cashier wasn't told she had been handed a complete order so she held it another 5 min waiting. The owner became aware as he was taking off his apron and let her know. He walked out past us without a word. Customer service for anyone (cashier or owner) to say sorry about the extra wait goes a long way. The wings were good. They had a nice flavor and crunch. The young lady that works there is the light of the place.. I feel so bad for her, he cursed her out, and called her all out of her name RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME as she was walking out!.. She turns to me and say that I should leave with tears in her eyes. Because of the EXTREME unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect for not ONLY her, but for his customers as well; my son and I asked for a refund. Family decided to order take-out, never having ate from this establishment before. We placed our order over the phone. We were given a 25 min window for our ready to pick-up order. As one of the reviewers mentioned there is a wait time. I arrived to pay and waited a little while behind two other customers waiting for their orders. However they had three chairs spaced away from one another in a cool environment away from the outdoor AZ heat. Before leaving, the staff were courteous and thanked me for being patient and I replied that it wasn't a problem and to take care. I got home and had the family all dig in and everyone loved it. Catfish fillets were warm, well seasoned and flaky. Fries were reminiscent of that fast food joint with race car flags on their logo, but w/o the added grease and over seasoning. Bottom line the food was great and lite without the saturated grease you get from other fish places. We'll be back and plan on trying more items on the menu. read more
