Everything was perfect at Romance Night at the Aquarium....except for one thing. The gay couples both got a rose females, both, males, both, heterosexual couple only the lady got one. Heterosexual discrimination isn't cool!! I LIKE ROSES TOO!!! read more

ruined our Valentine's day, not only was there a shooting outside of the building that was being investigated they shut down almost all the roads around the aquarium so it took twice as long to get there. When we arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation that was made months in advance we waited for 40 minutes and had to leave since I work nights. The restaurant was 50% empty more people were waiting outside the restaurant than in the restaurant. read more

The atmosphere in this restaurant is great. It's calm, spacious, and has great views. You can get a table right next to the giant windows where you can watch the fish as you eat. The food on the other hand was not great. The fish in the poke dish was not fresh and the shrimp were dried out. The rice was underdone/raw in the center of the grain but also slimy and gooey on the outside (guessing they did not wash the rice before cooking it). The drink was ok at first but it was also extremely sweet. You do not get the souvenir glass with it. The pasta dish (not pictured) was also bland and mushy. The fried gator was ok, it mostly tasted like chicken nuggets. I recommend going here for the views and experience, but I would keep the food ordering to a minimum. read more

First, 45 minutes to receive our food at lunch on a Monday. Our waitress was very kind and let us know if was the kitchen that was slammed. No appetizers, no drinks, 2 adult meals and 3 kids meals for $85+. The manager knocked off a measly 10% for the wait of our food. Food was subpar, even according to the kids - some grapes had mold, way too saucy of pizza. We won't eat there again, especially since the tank atmosphere is very underwhelming when compared to images you see online. read more

We went to the aquarium for my nephews 2nd birthday yesterday! Needless to say, we had a blast. After, we went to the restaurant. Although the food and service were good, it was insanely overpriced. read more

It was our first time coming here, and we were blown away! We were able to eat our delicious food right next to the fishes and some sharks ! I would definitely recommend the shrimp and crab dip for an appetizer, it is really delicious. The drinks are amazing here as well. read more

While this was quite expensive sitting next to the giant fish tank is an experience especially if you have younger kids. The food was acceptable as was the service though for the prices I was expecting a little bit more. read more

Even though we had a 7:45 reservation and were on time (the restaurant was pretty empty), we saw nobody at the host stand until after 8 when we were seated. We didn't have our drinks or get to order an appetizer until 8:30, and then when we got our appetizers, we had no rolls of silverware or napkins so we had to flag down our server again. They shut the fish tank lights off around 8:45 basically right when we got our steak. We ordered two sirloins medium rare, and both were practically well done. Our server then tried rushing us after not being anywhere in sight for most of our meal. For a $150 meal with a reservation, we were sorely disappointed. The setting was beautiful, wish we could have enjoyed it more, but will likely not eat at the restaurant again. read more

We spent the day at the aquarium and ended at the restaurant. Even if you have a reservation be prepared to wait-- we waited about 15 minutes past our reservation for a table. Service was average. While our server was kind, she seemed to be running around quite a bit which lead to lots of waiting at the table. As for the meal, our drinks were excellent. Food was definitely not worth the price. Don't get the tacos, very stale for some reason. Shout out to the friendly busser who filled our waters when our server was too busy. Very cute setting with the fish tank and themed decor but you can get a cheaper, better meal and experience elsewhere. read more

The food & drinks was amazing, and we had a great view right in front of the fish tank.

Food is okay, not the best I've had but service was terrible. We came to visit Denver only for a weekend and hoped finish mini vacation with great time at this place. We had 6 people in our party. When our food arrived 3 dishes were passed to the table and other 3 were dropped on the floor in front of us. So after it half of our table were staring at other half... our server wasn't even care to take some complimentary appetizers or drinks for them... even shift leader or manager didn't stop by to make sure we are okay. In the end we were waiting for checks for ever, as everyone in restaurant was caring only about close and doing their side work. We haven't got any discount for there mistakes read more

honestly the food is pretty good but overpriced and not that cool. The service is terrible. The restaurant is very cool tho.

This was a terrible experience, had a reservation finally got sat 30 minutes after the reservation, but there was plenty of tables. Hostess was rude not attentive at all. Also not greeted or thanked when arriving or leaving. The restaurant ran out of shrimp, this is unacceptable, this is a seafood restaurant with over half the menu with shrimp. But then a plate with shrimp on it was brought out and then taken back from another table. Also out of lemon, seems like a major issue with keeping inventory for basic items to me. There was a full piece of chicken on the floor from a party before us crayons on the floor very dirty. Restroom was no better, floors sticky, out of soup in three pumps. Manager never came around. For the prices that are charged this was not worth it. Oh ya by the way this was also for a 13th birthday celebration and never was acknowledged for that either, not a good place for an outing on vacation. Included pictures of a fairly empty restaurant even though it took forever to get seated and the plate of shrimp that was brought out after they "ran out". read more

In town for a quick visit, looked for a unique place to eat. Enjoyed the aquarium before we headed off to dinner. Jordan our waitress was good. Found out it was her 3rd day. We had the chicken fettuccini and Cajun pasta. Both were great, servings large. Wish I was home so I could take leftovers. read more

My family loves visiting the Aquarium when we are in Denver. The restaurant is a fun place to eat and watch "mermaids" swim.

Very good service. Great atmosphere! It's a fun place for a family day or a cute date idea! read more

By far the worst restaurant in Denver. If you order something Togo, be prepared to wait an hour.

Great way to finish a trip to the aquarium. Stopped my to have a drink and we found they have a great happy hour. The food was great! And the drinks were simply lovely. I would definitely recommend this place again and again. Great atmosphere, great food, great service and great prices!! read more

super cool dining experience!! right by tanks full of fish. DO check out the aquarium before eating. it's small but really well done for its size. our waitress was amazing and personable and the food was really well done. great for a cute aquarium date night :) read more

We came to the Aquarium during the middle of the afternoon to check out the fishes. At the end were in the mood for a light snack and nothing looked appetizing at the restaurant so we decided to check out Happy Hour at the Dive Lounge. To be completely blunt we were expecting to get good drinks and okay tasting food. Little did we know that we were in for a surprise. I got the sliders and she got the ahi tuna tacos. Sam, the bartender, did a great job taking us through the menus and providing excellent customer service. The drink selection for happy hour is great and for those looking to get a souvenir, the cocktails come with a cup at regular price. Honestly, we plan on coming back just for the Happy Hour. Caution that they do not open until 3pm. read more

Nice atmosphere but it stops at that. took awhile to be greeted. kids drink was water not coke like we asked. had to ask twice for ketchup. old fashion was the worst i've ever had, never got asked if i wanted something else after my first either. my salad never came till after the food arrived and i got asked if i still wanted it. i said yes-barley ate it. my boyfriend got his steak medium rare-came out well done. sent back. came out rare. food also was cold. kids pizza and fries cold the minute it sat down at the table. calamari was just warm. we waited for the check for a very long time. we had to tell them we wanted a manager. told her about the food and she basically said you ate it so- but my boyfriend barley touched the rare steak that was sent back? also charged the shrimp for scallops and still charged for the shrimp also a scallop fee?? i asked the manager if anyone was informed about the steak and she said no. we basically told her we wanted his meal off and she wouldn't so we just ended up paying. to top it off this was MY family birthday dinner. i was so so excited to go here and left extremely disappointed! just felt like no one really cared. sad. read more

We had dinner here and Rich was our server. He was so friendly and really took the time to provide extra service to make our dinner a wonderful experience. He knew about all of the fish in the tank. He checked on us multiple times and went above what I even consider good service. I highly recommend this place as it offers an amazing experience with the ability to watch fish swim around throughout dinner. We will be back! read more

Had a cocktail in the lounge. Martini was great and the bartender was amazing. Got to meet Homer the Grouper!

My husband, 4 year old grandson, and I had a wonderful experience! Managers Matt and Ebod and our wait person, Destiny made our first visit as Select members very special, indeed. They were friendly, welcoming and made us feel like honored guests. Thank you again to this remarkable team of three! read more

I can thank this place for having to figure out where all the restrooms in Denver are located. We came here due to an invitation from some co-workers since we were all in Denver for a work trip. Once entered the aquarium it had a not so great smell. I know what you are thinking, it's an aquarium there is going to be some sort of smell, but the smell I was getting was of death, old fish. once we sat down I ordered a drink, the drink was meh and I gave it to one of my co-workers. I only ordered their mozzarella sticks and their calamari. When I bit into the mozzarella stick it wasn't even hot and gooey on the inside. it wasn't cold, more like room temperature. They didn't even seemed fried, more like microwaved. They also had that freezer taste to them. I should have known better but I didn't want to be the snob of the group. I should have trusted my instinct , the place had a kitchen nightmare vibe written all over it. My dumbass continues to eat the mozzarella stick, and so did my co-workers. Long story short 4 of us had the urge to use the bathroom every chance we got. Pepto Bismol was purchased and used for the remainder of our work trip. Moral of the story is don't eat anything if you get a weird feeling about the location/food. read more

Only reason this doesn't get 1 star is because the hostess was very nice. We sat down and the server brought us waters and said he would come back to take our order. We waited for 25 minutes and he never returned. Wish I could comment on the food but it probably would have taken an hour to receive and then another 30 minutes to get the check. If you're going to upcharge your prices for your atmosphere, at least hire decent servers. read more

This place sucks we went in there and was told there were a 30 minute wait time to be seated after a hour we got no text it was our turn to be seated after we got seated not one worker came to ask if we needed anything for around 10 minutes then we got up and left plus it completely smelled terrible in there I would not recommend read more

The happy hour here was great - I haven't had fresh oysters on the half shell since I lived in New England! The specialty margaritas are great, the staff is fun, and the menu offers some interesting and unique choices. The best part is the huge fish tank built into the wall of the bar, sit and watch the fish and sharks swim past! I'll definitely be back. read more
