TL;DR: decent food, great space, takes a little long for food TO-GO REVIEW Stopped by here to grab some breakfast and took a long look at the menu. They have a lot of options, from healthier/more nutritious options to down right just yummy things (that I haven't tried). The location is large and clean. Service was nice, but food took a while (~20 minutes). FOOD: ~Breakfast quesadilla (5/5): Really tasty and large portion ~Sausage, Egg, and Cheese croissant (3/5): A little plain/bland. Needed a sauce of sorts The menu looks really good, and would love to come back and try their Acai bowls, sandwiches, and pancakes/french toasts.
Got the açaí bowl - the capital bowl and it was pretty good! The fruit was fresh and they gave a lot of it. They also gave a generous amount of granola. The restaurant is quaint and lots of seating. The reason I'm taking away a star is that the man who took my order was kind of rude... very curt and short (it was my first time here so I was confused). Overall the açaí bowl is good- the service was mid.
I should have listen to other people before coming here for food. Let me just say their shakes are good but the food is way below average. An avocado toast that barely even has a half avocado all together in it and soggy. Also the place smelled like a they have been burning and using year old oils for cooking. I'm mean it was gross. The guy used his bare hands to put the left over ice cream from the scoop back into the bucket. Like where the heck the hygiene here. They obviously don't care about the place and its customers.
I ordered from District Eatz recently for pick up. I ordered the 9th street bowl with extra granola. The bowl was extremely satisfying and fulling. I am a huge fan of this place. They have a solid menu option from waffles to quesadillas. I am really interested in trying their waffles.
Went there Friday early evening . Ordered Two kinds Empanada and Chicken Quesadilla . They served the food warm . Looks like the food at this place is pre - made . I had to tell them to reheat the food . Empanadas was full of potatoes not much spicy pork . Chorizo Empanada same . Where is the meat ??? The casing was tough not crunchy at all . Bit soggy . My quesadilla was just plain frozen pre- cut chicken with processed cheese . Not much flavor at all . There were no sauce available to enhance the flavor .
This place is all hype- I'm sorry! The smoothie bowl was VERY sweet. Really only good for the gram- not health conscious at all. This is a disguised place that is just an IG trap. I couldn't even finish it. The coffee was OK. Prices are expensive. I won't be coming back!
I had been craving waffles for weeks so I was very excited to try District Eats! The staff was helpful when taking my order and answering questions. I ordered the waffle ($10) with strawberries and Nutella and the Chicken Buffalo Melt ($9.50). Both dishes were served quickly. I docked two stars because I was horrified that both of these dishes were made with prepackaged ingredients. The waffle was clearly out of package. It was not warm or crispy on the edges. The chicken was flavorful but it also had hallmarks of being pre-packaged. At this price point and with the atmosphere of the restaurant, I expected high quality, healthful ingredients and what I received was unacceptable. I didn't come to a restaurant for breakfast to be fed basically fast food. I may return to try an Açaí bowl but only if they use actual fresh fruit.

Right away we were helped and got our order put in. They have lots of options but obviously I'm here for the açaí bowls. They were delicious and filling! The high schoolers got it good with this right down the street.

The young blond behind the counter instead took the order of what looked like to be her friends from school who walked in a few minutes after me. Another guy behind the counter took my order instead. No one was friendly to me or welcoming. After placing our order we waited at least 20 minutes for an omelet and sausage egg and cheese croissant. I almost walked out but wanted to give them a chance. Also the back door was propped open all the way letting so much cold air in the dinning area. Not everyone likes it 60 degrees inside! Food was okay. Not worth the wait or price or unfriendly service. Store needs to worry less about the 'vibe' and more about the service and train employees better.
This is now my go to for an Acai bowl craving. First time was via Uber eats. This time we went in person and sat outside. They brought out these beauties to our table. Nice touch. Absolutely delicious. I love the interior concept and that it is a hangout spot for the local high school. We did sit outside because it was a touch loud with the HSers. Wish my kids local HS had a similar place to hang and grab delicious food. I'll be back to try more menu items. Thank you!
I only ever get the acai bowls from here so I can only speak to that but they're great! Never really had acai bowl cravings until I had one from here. Fruits are fresh, granola crunchy, and service is quick. Definitely recommend .
The employees were very accommodating as I have never been there before but Anthony made sure to walk me thought the menu. I got the loaded breakfast burrito with hash browns chicken egg and chipotle sauce and it was a nought full of flavor! The eggs were fluffy and that chipotle sauce was very full of flavor. Yaya ordered the açaí berry bowl and loved but the only complaint was that there was too much honey. She love show fresher the ingredients were and feel like they have you a great sized bowl. I really love dry coffee flight as it gave you multiple flavors and really was a nice presentation. The flavors were cinnamon gingerbread caramel and s'mores! Definitely will be back for the waffles and teriyaki Mac and cheese
District Eats in Clifton was... okay. The chicken quesadilla honestly tasted like something you could make at home -- not bad, just super simple for being $8. It gave "homemade lunch" vibes more than "restaurant dish." I tried two smoothies -- the acai one was actually really good, but the green smoothie (I think it was called Island Green or something like that?) was rough. It literally tasted like someone blended up fresh-cut grass and ice. It was super unfortunate. Their menu does have a lot of variety, which I appreciated, but overall it feels a little overpriced for the quality. The service was decent though -- the staff gave a good recommendation and were kind. The best part was definitely the ambiance. The place had cute Halloween decorations and even a little Minion sitting out, which made the space feel fun and welcoming. Overall, I'd give it a solid three stars -- not bad, but not sure I'd rush back unless they tweak those smoothies. read more
I decided to go here on a Saturday afternoon to try something new. Although listed in the "cheap eats" category, the buffalo chicken salad (really a chipotle chicken salad) was good, had lots of crunchy cucumbers, onions, and a couple kinds of lettuce. The diced tomatoes were a nice touch. The chicken was a baked chicken cut into 0.25-1.25 nugget sizes. From the title, I was expecting the chicken to carry the seasoning and was hoping for blue cheese dressing. Neither applied to this salad. That said, the chipotle ranch had a pleasant, mild spice and was big for $11.50. Just be sure to ask for extra napkins. The plastic silverware only comes with one, bifold napkin with no extras out for supplementation. read more

We ordered the loaded breakfast burrito and egg sausage cheese croissant. Very disappointed. Little to no chipotle sauce in the burrito (also no hash browns) and the size of the croissant given with one tiny sausage was ridiculous. For the price, not worth it. read more

I only ever get the acai bowls from here so I can only speak to that but they're great! Never really had acai bowl cravings until I had one from here. Fruits are fresh, granola crunchy, and service is quick. Definitely recommend . read more

This place definitely gives younger vibes. The menu has a good variety of salty and sweet and can cater to a good range of ages. I came in a big family group with ages from 6 to elderly. We all enjoyed what we got. Please excuse the photos of half eaten food. We were all hungry and dug in right away. The food was made by the high schoolers I believe but were still good. I don't think they were expecting a big rush so it did catch them off guard. Overall food was probably a 6/10. Knocking off points for value (too pricey of a price point versus the actual size or quality of food). Also, the food was not very hot when it arrived. Açaí bowl was meh. It was pre-made with the granola in the freezer so the granola was soft. Overall experience was nice. The hang out area was fun for the kids and the food was enjoyable enough. Loved the Strawberry Banana Split milkshake. Will come back to try some of the other menu items out. read more
Staff was awesome. Really friendly. Smoothie was average. I wish the smoothie was a tad thicker. Tropical Smoothie Café is definitely a better spot for smoothies; cheaper and probably double the size. Acai bowl was as expected; pretty good and the fruit looked really fresh. Both the smoothie and bowl were a few bucks over priced in my opinion. read more
We ordered the breakfast quesadilla and spinach for and cheese / spicy pork empanada for takeout and we were told the food would be ready in about 15 minutes. I thought that the food was pretty good!! The breakfast quesadilla was still warm by the time we got to eat it back home. The empanadas were really cute and labeled on the sides what was inside. The spinach and cheese empanada was oozing cheese and the spicy pork also had beans and corn inside. I think I would definitely go again to try out other items on the menu! read more
It was a rainy night and I didn't want anything salty, fast food, soupy, or couldn't make up my mind. THEN, I stumbled across this spot and they have such a variety, even desserts! I am always done for a lamb gyro or chicken schwarma, and they had exactly that, a chicken schwarma salad! I was surprised by how flavorful the lamb was, it was a bit greasy or oily but that's expected. The white sauce is difficult to explain, it held a more mayo consistency which through me off, but it was just the perfect amount. This place has a bunch of diff selections, I'd come here if you can't make up your mind! read more

I've visited the DC location before and was blown away. so to learn that they opened another location right in my hometown was next level! I stopped in today for breakfast and tried their Banana Boat Waffle and to my surprise it was THE BEST Belgium waffle i had ever had! i couldn't eat it fast enough and being surrounded by my former HS colors really added to my experience. can't wait to come back and try more! read more

Their food was not edible. Just a suggestion but customer service training would be very beneficial for this establishment. I understand that teenagers might not have A + customer service but not acknowledging potential customers when walking in should not be happening . There are circumstances when a "laid back" vibe can work to a businesses disadvantage and this would be an example . District Eatz is about 5 mins from home so wanted to give them a try. I ordered an omelette as well as breakfast burrito . Everything was just thrown together and we would've been better off eating at McDonald's to be honest . The omelette I chose was the chicken fajita omelette . It was supposed to have chicken and red onions but it was only cheese, egg, and tomatoes. The pictures speak for themselves . Will not be back. Just a note, after reading a few other reviews it does appear that their food is pre made ? Also I definitely agree with the one review stating it seems that customers are a bother to the employees there. read more

I've been here so much and keep coming back that I have to give it a 5. I would not go out of my way to come here but if I'm in the area I go here every time. No glitz or glamour to this spot but they have good food options such as sandwiches, salads, and açaí bowls as well as smoothies, etc. pretty big menu. I love their s chicken shawarma and gyro salads. read more
Traveling through town and decided to stop in after reading reading reviews for District Eatz! Because I still had a bit of way to travel, I was hoping to grab some thing I could take with me in the car. When going into the restaurant I was taken aback by how cool the decor was and the atmosphere the place was emitting. This definitely seems like a cool place to grab a bite and hang out with friends so that was pretty nice to see. The menu displayed so many different options I was very bummed that I wasn't able to try out more food. I decided to grab the breakfast burrito with sausage so that way I could take it on the go with me. The burrito itself is pretty large and I was not disappointed with the fillings. It was stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, and some chipotle sauce which was a nice touch. Even though the burrito was packed full of deliciousness, it was able to hold up its shape in the car. I'm so glad I stopped in. This food hit the spot and I'm making a mental note to come back and try more things next time I'm passing through town! read more
