My favorite items are the croughnuts, red velvet cake donut and blueberry cake donut. Coffee is decent as well!

Texas Dontus has been around since '02, starting out in TX, then OK, and having several locations in the NoVA area - As their other locations, they offer basic and specialty donuts, character donuts, croissant sandwiches, kolaches, and coffee/bubble tea. We're fans of their glaze, as this yeast donut is big, fluffy, and just melts in your mouth - if you go at the right time, they'll still be nice and warm! Staff here are always friendly and nice; love that they had recently put up some alpaca figurines by the counter area - so cute! Plenty of parking in the plaza lot. +glazed yeast donuts +friendly service +plenty of parking

Delicious and very consistent. Light, pillow-y, sweet. I used to order 4 dozen assorted doughnuts for my church on Sundays and would be salivating for one during fellowship (after service). Ordering online is easy and efficient. They close online ordering at a certain time. They are also closed every Tuesday. Their croissant sandwiches and kolaches are exactly what you'd expect. Yummy!

The Best Donuts I've ever tasted!

I work at a gym and surprisingly we get gifted sweet treats all the time. I usually decline, not because I don't like sweets, but because I try to eat better...until I tasted a Crougnut from Texas Donuts! Can I just say that I enjoyed every bite. One of our wonderful members gifted the front desk with this yumminess and I had to tell anyone who would listen that these are the best donuts I have tasted in my 50 years on earth. Never been to the shop, but that will definitely change. I need for my family to witness these clouds of perfection in person.

Fresh donuts anyone? This donut shop is a small shop close to my house that I love. Their cronuts here are DELICIOUS! They are a must try if you have not been here. They are fluffy, light and humongous! They sold out really quick too! They have a parking lot so it's easy to find and easy to park. Plenty of parking! Staff are nice and friendly and work quick!

Couldn't leave the Nova part of DC without trying the big Texas donuts. Went early morning and they had all kinds of flavors including chocolate and strawberry glazed and with sprinkles for $3.99 . You can't go wrong with that especially the size it's definitely good option for those that want a sweet treat to share with and they also have regular size donuts with lots of different kinds flavors and specialty donuts.and the atmosphere is nice and vibrant with a lot of color pop as well mirrors with inspiration quotes when you walk in and all of there donuts are made fresh daily and the big Texas Donut is the one I tried out today and it's delicious I got the chocolate glazed and the service was great and fast definitely recommend this bakery for donuts and adding this to my list of hidden gems list .

Love me some Texas Donuts, it's really just the consistency of the donuts for me!!! There's something about it, and they're super fresh. Honestly the best donut spot in this area. The service is good and the inside is not huge, but there's some seating available. Overall, it's a little casual spot and I highly recommend trying it out if you're a donut lover. Prices aren't bad either!

Happened to be in the area so I grabbed donuts on a Sunday morning to share with friends. You'll have to excuse the photos as I accidentally squished the bag of donuts - totally my fault. Fortunately they still tasted great. Service was great, and will definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Regular Croughnut and a cinnamon sugar donut

One word - CRONUT! The hybrid love affair between a croissant and a donut that gives you a massive, but pillowy donut. Everything is bigger in Texas and these cronuts do not disappoint. Honestly we still drive the 35 minute trek at least monthly and every time we have friends or family visiting. There's no one else that can beat them. Whether you like the original or the cinnamon sugar, you can't go wrong. They also sell normal donuts and character ones for the kids like Cookie Monster (has a donut hole on it) and donut dogs (come either with chocolate or strawberry dip and cute little eyes). Service is quick and prices are fair - this place is a total gem. Get there early or else you may find that your favorites are sold out. You can also order ahead if you call - but have your payment ready to go. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend's and my favorite donut shop! Texas Donuts is a cute and charming, locally-owned Korean donut shop with the absolute best glazed donuts and excellent service. I highly recommend it!

A visitor from another office was kind enough to bring in doughnuts on Valentine's Day. As always, I called first dibs. (Gotta beat the "don't-always-wash-them hands" bunch, ya know?) Not sure what flavor I grabbed, but it was SO GOOD. I'm never on this side of town, so hopefully she'll being them in again -- lol :-D __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

This was my first time trying cronuts and they were so good! These massive croissant donuts were airy, flakey and sweet! Definitely go with the classic glazed if you try them!

Intro: if you're craving some serious donut action, Texas Donuts a great spot to hit up. Vegan Friendly?: Sadly it is not but for my vegetarian friends you are good to go. Decor: Chill vibes all around, with a retro twist. Wouldn't stay there for to long but for grab and go its fine! Food Breakdown: Donuts galore, from classic glazed to funky flavors. And they do have milk and drink options that go with your donut! Food Highlights: So their donuts have a unique taste that makes it stand out but OMG there key point is there Texas size donut and OMG IS IT BIG. You could feed 4 people with it easy. Portion Size: For the standard size the size for the price is fine but for their Texas donut lorddd bring your appetite! Price: Totally reasonable for the size and quality Would I go Back: Absolutely! But the only problem is there operating hours which makes it very hard to go to but otherwise I will be back.

It gave "homemade lunch" vibes more than "restaurant dish." I tried two smoothies -- the acai one was actually really good, but the green smoothie (I think it was called Island Green or something like that?) was rough. It literally tasted like someone blended up fresh-cut grass and ice. It was super unfortunate. Their menu does have a lot of variety, which I appreciated, but overall it feels a little overpriced for the quality. The service was decent though -- the staff gave a good recommendation and were kind. The best part was definitely the ambiance. The place had cute Halloween decorations and even a little Minion sitting out, which made the space feel fun and welcoming. Overall, I'd give it a solid three stars -- not bad, but not sure I'd rush back unless they tweak those smoothies.

I got the build your own savory crepe option with two fried eggs, Gruyère cheese, extra goat cheese, spinach, extra tomatoes, and dill creama to put on top. The crepe instead of a tortilla option was definitely unique, but tasted light and went well with the ingredients I had chosen, not overpowering it at all but being the nice burrito casing it should be. The veggies were all fresh and the tomatoes were red and they actually gave me extra which was nice...most places won't add extra when you ask for it. The eggs were cooked well, though I wish they had another way of cooking them as an option for the build your own crepe, as they have scrambled eggs available for one other savory crepe. The service was great as they also added extra goat cheese inside my crepe as well as adding the two sides I paid extra for. Most places won't look at the notes and so I ordered two sides just in case, but I didn't end up needing them. They were quite generous with their extras. The creama dill sauce topped off the crepe quite well, and was a tangy, creamy addition to the meal. Their sauces had pretty decent portions, so even those like me who love their extra sauce will find one enough. You are definitely getting value for your money as the crepe was as long as my fork and super wide. IT WAS HUGE! I had to save half for later, so it was like getting two meals in one. TLDR: I highly recommend going to Clifton Cafe for your brunch needs! The food is fresh, delicious and has enormous portions, which will have you taking home a to go bag.
