Both the business owner you coordinate and the technician who did the work were very professional, polite, and easy to talk with. As you can probably tell from your own Yelp research it is not the easiest to find an installer for Starlink that gives you confidence they can do a good job (maybe not the most common thing in my area). But after just one phone call with The Remo Group, plus looking at the pictures they have shared here on Yelp of their past work, and you will know you found the best option for a professional installation. Setting up an appointment was super easy, they know just what to do - you can really tell they are very experienced with Starlink installations. The technician who came to my home was very professional. He walked me through options of where the install would be and where we could place the Starlink router. He was able to quickly set up everything and even walk me through the setup of the app and router. You can tell they are very experienced and have a deep knowledge overall of home networking. They really did an amazing job. The dish is mounted very securely and the wiring is extremely clean. They really cared about doing a good job and making sure I was happy. If you are looking for a Starlink installer, I would very much recommend The Remo Group: they will do things right.

The Good ° $65 a month, no guessing ° More reliable than Xfinity ° Better Customer service than Xfinity & AT&T - You can reach them by text and they respond back quite quickly ° Easy & clean installation ° Upload speed is amazing! I'd only get 6-14 Mbps with Xfinity, so 90 Mbps is a huge upgrade for streaming The Bad ° The wireless point to point isn't blazing fast. Average 315-420 Mbps - Only really felt when gaming or updating The Ugly ° Not Tekify's fault, really it's largely the whole bay area, but no fiber option at my old house and at my new house ° Can't service a lot of friends I've recommended because of trees blocking line of sight Xfinity had better speed overall but I was always guessing what I'd get from day to day and it would always randomly go down. We worked with Ryan, who was able to answer all our questions. Their monthly rate is 1/2 what we paid for Xfinity. It's only been a week, but our internet has not dropped once. Moises, the installer, arrived on time and did the entire installation himself in about 4 hours. He first set up a temporary antenna to check the download and upload speeds. Our speed was even better than what they had quoted. Once the antenna was set up on our roof, a cable is then connected to an outlet in our house. Once we set up our routers, everything worked seamlessly. Moises didn't leave until we confirmed that all of our devices were connected. If you live in the Fremont or neighboring areas, I highly recommend Tekify for your internet service.

He welcomed me and entered my name to be the next in line. Sales-tech Michael(curly haired) was professional. Informed him I wanted "Internet" only and no bundled package. He listened and informed me of my options and the best part, he did NOT force any upsell. I would have walked out instantly and went with another ISP. So that was pleasant experience and I thanked Michael for that. Great job Michael and customers will be happy to talk to you. Cheers! Got my Internet activated and am happy!

    Today I went to the Xfinity store on Saratoga Avenue to check the status of my current internet…read moreplan and request to cancel it. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member named Edgar. He was extremely unprofessional. While I was asking about the status of my internet plan, it quickly became clear that he did not seem to understand what I was asking. I had to repeat my question two or three times just to get a clear explanation of the current status of my plan. Instead of helping, he rolled his eyes at me in a mocking way, as if suggesting that my question was stupid. I asked him why he was making such a disrespectful expression toward a customer, and he immediately raised his voice and started arguing with me. It is very difficult to understand how an in-store customer service representative could treat a customer this way. Because of this experience, I have decided that I will no longer use any Xfinity services or products. If a company cannot even handle such a simple request and communicate properly with a customer, that is very concerning. After looking through other reviews, I also noticed that many people have mentioned that the staff at this location are often rude and disrespectful.
