The "supervisor" was not listening to our issues and concerns and then said we were not using the proper speed test (even though we told him multiple times we are using the frontier speed test the other tech sent us, along with multiple other speed tests to test our wi-fi). I can't give 0 stars. The installers came on Saturday and fixed everything, and when they left, the system worked. But, all of Sunday, I had Internet connection issues and called twice. Since then, the connection stability and quality was abysmal. This Monday morning, I spoke to 3 different "Tech Pro specialists", and had no luck. I decided to switch back to Xfinity and will cancel the Frontier service asap. Between Frontier and Xfinity customer service, I'd rate Xfinity much higher. The few times I did speak to someone at Xfinity, my issues got fixed. Xfinity needs to check their pricing though. Bottom line, Frontier Fiber Internet service sucks. Spent 14 minutes on the phone trying to cancel my service and pay the final payment and they wouldn't cancel it even using the same credit card because they needed a pin which I am not able access. To start with, there does not appear to be a local office or phone number you can call. The chat service via mobile device could not provide this info when asked. This was when we experienced 2nd service outage in two days. This happens about once or twice per month. But get this: our neighbor who lives across the street with the same service has no issues. They could not explain that one to me. They keep saying they are working on the issue, but keep pushing back the time for it to be resolved. Used to have a land line with Frontier Communications, but as tree took it out and it was finally fixed after three weeks. By then, I'd cancelled the service and went with Verizon Wireless and moved land line to VOIP. Finally signed up for fiber earlier in the year and everything was OK until today. Their service line is a mess... disconnect.... AI which can't figure out what to do and goes into useless loops. Since then, I contact them weekly, but they continue to over-bill me. Frontier's fiber service is simply unreliable. It goes out once a week, and stays that way for at least a day. The worst part is, once they fix it you were required to unplug in and plug in your modem to make it work, but there's no way to know when it's time to do that. And if you happen to be out of town, well sorry, you're screwed. If you want to contact somebody to find further information, or even to file a general complaint, they won't let you because they say there's an outage and a technician can't help you further. The outages usually last 8 to 12 hours and are generally on a weekend. No thank you. read more

If "80% of success is showing up", Frontier fails. I scheduled installation for residential fiber internet. The day before they were supposed to arrive, they pushed my installation out a week. Over the next 7 days, I got over a dozen texts and emails telling me how to prepare. They didn't show up during the scheduled 4-hour window. I called and was told they were running late and would be there in an hour. Two hours later I called and they said they were coming soon. They didn't. I called again and was told they would check with the dispatch team and get up an update. They didn't. It's hard to make Comcast look good by comparison, but that's the one way Frontier succeeds. read more

Terrible customer service. Our phone service has been down for three weeks, and when we call, we are told that no one can help us and that we should just stand by for updates. We never receive updates. They ask us to load the app for all information and updates. It provides no viable information. We pay $95 a month for internet and one phone. It is not worth it. I have been with Charter Internet in Morgan Hill for ten year and took a chance to switched over to Frontier Fiber. I was somewhat hesitant because Charter internet was flawless and their customer service was excellent. I have used Frontier Fiber 500 mbps for 6 months, I can say Frontier Fiber internet has been flawless in vpn and internet. Speed is consistently down and up at 500 mbps. Frontier customer service is not as good as Charter. It took awhile to connect to live person, but I only called during initial setup. I do recommend Frontier Fiber in Morgan Hill as they are the primary broadband infrastructure in Morgan Hill. Service was OK. I would just like to comment on a couple of cashiers who openly made a comment about the cart in front of me which happened to be someone I was with. The female cashier who was a short heavier, set white woman with longer light brown hair commented that I bet that is a "food stamp" cart to which the short blonde cashier male said yes they never have necessities. Very rude very unprofessional and just downright tacky.
