I was looking to upgrade my phone because it's that time again. I walked in and was immediately greeted. The young lady helped me find the best deal I could get. I am very thankful for that, because I was not thinking of any specials offers. I had let her know, I was not interested in trading in my phone. She was able to find the best plan so I did not have to. For my second visit, I went to upgrade my mom's phone. I was met with the same friendly team greeting me when I walked in. There was a different young lady that helped me. Super nice! She really did help me out with savings and let me know about the different options to save on my monthly bill. If you are looking for a Verizon store that is attentive and helpful, I would recommend for you to check out this store. They did great both times I visited. read more

I made an appointment to upgrade my phone. I went in 10 minutes early to check-in. They were right on time when it came to speak with someone. I had a model in mind that was on display but it was out of stock. Instead of offering to order it or have it shipped or any alternatives the lady told me to just go across the street to Best Buy. lol. She didn't pull up her tablet to double check or do anything else so the whole interaction was very dismissive and lasted a minute. Ok, whatever you don't want my business today. A few days later I came back because the phone was showing as in-stock for local pickup. The other employee spent some time looking for options and promos I could get and I left with better phone. They seem more enthusiastic setting up new lines probably for commission, not so much if you're just trying to get an upgrade for an existing line, even as long lasting customer. read more

2nd worst experience at this Verizon store. First was when I transferred from AT&T about four years ago at this location. Asked salesman to not disconnect me from AT&T until I was set up with Verizon he agreed. Got home and guess what I had no phone service drive back to Verizon salesman said he misunderstood. Turned my phone back on with service. He said he was unable to transfer my info from AT&T to Verizon I had to go to Apple. Went to Apple Store in Los Gatos next day and they said he could have transferred info just that it takes time to do and my thought he's a salesman he makes monies on his sales no time to fidget with a phone nothing in it for him. Yesterday I returned to same Verizon store, which I swore I'd never return to, in order to return my late husband's phone and cancel his phone service. Canceling service easy, but they told me they'd be happy to recycle the phone or I could keep it. Recycle and get no monies back sounded fishy so I took phone. Went to Apple Store and they gave me $205 for the turn in phone. Do you suppose Verizon lady salespeople that suggested I leave phone in their recycle were going to take it to Apple to turn it in for $205. I write all this w/o any knowledge how turning in a phone you don't own works, but if it's worth $205, I'm sure there is a way even if it's on second hand market. I'm so totally done with Verizon and can't wait to untie from their phone service and go back to AT&T. I'm so grateful to be with Apple and soon to be AT&T if I could give Verizon a negative star rating I would. I called store today and salesperson on phone listened to my experience yesterday and her response was 'yes that is company policy you can leave phone and we'll recycle or customer keeps phone'. I generally prefer to resolve issues directly with a business rather than air grievances publicly. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Verizon has compelled me to write my first--and only--one-star review. To be clear, this is not a reflection on the retail store or its employees. Over the many years I was a customer, the in-store staff were consistently courteous and helpful. I have nothing negative to say about them. My concerns are strictly with Verizon's corporate customer service and billing practices. After more than a decade as a Verizon customer, I decided to switch carriers at the end of the year due to a more competitive offer elsewhere. I successfully ported my numbers out, yet I continued receiving bills from Verizon stating the numbers were still active. I spent over five hours on multiple calls verifying that the numbers had indeed been ported and requesting that the accounts be closed and any improper charges refunded. Each time, I was assured the issue was resolved and that a refund would be processed. Instead, I received additional bills and notifications of other "active" accounts. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told that supervisors do not take calls. The responsibility was repeatedly shifted back to me, despite clear confirmation that the numbers had been transferred. This back-and-forth ultimately cost me more than $400 in unnecessary charges. Beyond the financial impact, the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing--especially after being a loyal customer for so many years. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Verizon to understand the level of corporate support they may encounter. And for those leaving Verizon, I highly recommend documenting every interaction and confirming in writing that all accounts have been properly closed to avoid similar billing issues. read more

I came in to add a line, only because I had the BYOD promo, the employees told me they were having issues but rest assured they would manual enter promo and it may take 1-2 cycles to reflect. They guaranteed me it was applied. 4 cycles later and I'm still being charged full price for 2 lines. I've had various call and chats with the customer service over the phone, and they once again confirmed that I was eligible for that promo but manager never actually applied it. Wow i have been annoyed at my t mobile service. The coverage is kinda spotty and ive got an iphone xr so i figured its time to switch carriers and upgrade my phone. The store is in a really nice location. It's clean, and organized, but unfortunately the customer service here is just terrible. The service reps seem aggravated anytime you ask a question. They don't really seem interested in anything other than having you open up additional lines. Pair this with a 30+ minute wait time? Not ideal. I certainly don't want to overstate this or ruin somebody's career, but this was simply the rudest encounter I have ever had with any organization. I have been with Verizon for over 25 years. We were helped by Mo Roberts (I believe that's what his name was - my apologies if we're remembering incorrectly!). He was very knowledgeable on Apple products and helped me activate my new iPhone without any issues. He was also able to give me some helpful information on plans and rates. Went to the Oakridge Verizon store leaving with nothing but high blood pressure ready to leave Verizon for another carrier. So we went to the Almaden store by Bass Pro Shop. We were greeted by a very nice young man name Eduardo. We had purchased new phones and we needed them to be activated. In minutes he had both our phones activated and changed something on our account we had requested. All at no charge. At that point he really made our day. If you need to go to Verizon make sure you find a corporate store, otherwise you will feel like you are on a car lot buying a new car like we did at the Oakridge store. read more

Wow I thought the DMV had the worst staff but NOPE, the sad disinterested kids at this location give a new meaning to doing the least amount possible. I entered the store, I'm the only customer, 4 staff members on their screens look up at the same time, nothing. I make eye contact with one them and the others scatter like roaches to the dark areas of the store. After no one could help me with my issue I was pawned off onto someone on the phone to help me while the staff stared at their screens. As I left three members had gathered by the front door heads still focusing on their phone screens like zombies, not one of them could be bothered to muster a "have a nice day"! Nothing. I am honestly AMAZED how bad the service is at this location. I have had to go into the store on three separate occasions, and no one seems to know what they are doing each time. They are always lying about something. On my last visit, the guy helping us said he couldn't get into my account unless my husband came. The visit before this was not an issue. I asked him if he could please ask the manager if there was anything else we could do. I was already missing work, and I didn't want to call my husband to miss work. He went to the back and came out, telling me he went in the back and asked the manager if he could do anything, and the manager said no. My issue with this was that the manager was in the front at the time, and I could see the manager the entire time he walked away. read more

BEWARE OF VERIZON. The so called "manager" here is less than useless. I switched from T-Mobile back in December. The employee who helped me, Marco, was seemingly having a VERY difficult time. The manager wasn't helpful at all, therefore I spent over 4.5 hours in this POS store just signing up for cell phone service. Marco also happened to sign me up for +2 lines that I DID NOT WANT OR NEED. Now I am dealing with Verizon's "customer service" departments, filing claims about this issue (because my bill was 700% higher than it should of been). I've been dealing with this since JANUARY and have spent an accumulative +25 hours of phone time and have gotten NO WHERE. I go into the store in hopes I'll get better support and the manager says he can't help me and proceeds to call a "help line" and turns out to be TECH SUPPORT. I need business finance... not tech support... again wasting my time being on hold/transferring. The "manager" proceeds to go and hide in the back room and lets his "minions" do all the grunt work. Pathetic on so many different levels. I have now switched to ATT and, very unfortunately, still haven't had a resolution in regards to my Verizon bill. read more

We have an ongoing problem with Verizon disconnecting an apple watch. It is not an apple problem. It is Verizon Disconnecting service without authorization. We have made multiple calls about this. This evening the Verizon employee hung up on my daughter, and I mean literally left the call, because she "couldn't wait on tech and needed to help other people." Your customer service has dropped dramatically. You have sales staff trying to solve tech problems but it is impossible to speak directly to Verizon tech support. Between my daughter and I, we have been told 6 times that a Verizon rep would call the next day and have Never received a call back. Customer service? Ha! read more

Truly pathetic store employees. I went to the Almaden Ranch store. Walked in and there was 3 employees standing there. I was looking at their $25 special. I stood 5 ft from them, not 1 of them looked my way. At 10 mins 1 of the 3 asked if I had a question... duh! I left. Came home and called and got a woman answering and I told her I was there & left because 3 employees stood 5 ft from me and I was ignored. She asked if it was 2 men and a woman on the phone? Yes! I purchased 4 new phones at verizon dot com website and arranged to pickup at this location. On CyberMonday I simply drove up to the store, parked in Pickup Space 1, used the My Verizon app to indicate I was here, and waited 10 minutes for my devices to be hand delivered right to my car. Perfect solution during COVID! When I ran into some issues trying to activate two of the devices, I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday and was helped by Hien. He was awesome! He knew exactly which support department to contact, took care of all of the dirty work, and within half an hour all of my problems were solved. Thanks!!! read more

Terrible! Terrible service, terrible help, just terrible! Definitely not an Apple store. Was walking in to return the phone and discontinue terrible service after fixing it a teutonic for a couple weeks and as I was walking in, the defective packaging slipped, the phone hit the floor at the threshold of the store and cracked the screen. The manager said they had no, absolutely no, way to help me and said they could not return a broken phone, could not repair a broken phone and sent me away. Would NEVER go back!!! read more
