We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and were seen right away. David was very friendly, professional and helpful.

It is unfortunate to say, Saturday, May 2nd 2026 I witnessed an employee and manager (both bilingual, Spanish) disrespectfully speak down to a customer. They laughed at her, raised their voice at her and informed her if she didn't like the service to basically go elsewhere and or call headquarters to complain and told her to do their job as they laughed at her. The customer was shocked The customer replied- why are you rushing me, speaking down to me, not caring to assist and raising your voice at me. Very disappointing, NO accountability and poor customer service. I hope this scenario is reported and the manager/team member are evaluated for their capacity to assist in customer service. We have many options for services elsewhere. Yet, we choose Xfinity. I hope these employees realize they have a job due to us, the customers. read more

I have been a loyal Xfinity customer for a long time, and unfortunately, my experiences at this particular location have developed into a repeated pattern of poor customer service. I have repeatedly had situations where I am trying to get assistance, the interaction escalates to the point where a manager needs to become involved, and then I experience poor customer service from management as well. That pattern continued today when I sat down with Monty. I initially tried to be friendly and thought the interaction would be straightforward. However, his workspace was visibly cluttered, including an open Gatorade bottle sitting between us on the workspace, which immediately made me uncomfortable. I was simply trying to have my account pulled up and get information about my balance. During the interaction, I mentioned that my phone had been stolen and asked whether he knew how to use a location app to help locate it. His response was a very dismissive "no," delivered in a way that I found unnecessarily rude. I was also waiting an unusually long time just to get basic information about my account, despite having been in the store only a couple of days earlier with essentially the same information, when the account had already been pulled up. When I asked whether it was going to take a very long time, I did not receive a helpful response. I then asked to speak with a manager. Instead of simply getting the manager, I was asked additional questions about my email, which was frustrating because I had already clearly requested to speak with management. I spoke with Fe, and unfortunately that interaction was also very uncomfortable. From the beginning, I found his communication argumentative rather than helpful. Instead of making the situation easier, he monitored me while another employee was assisting me, which made the situation feel unnecessarily confrontational. I was trying to obtain the correct balance for a phone that had been stolen and that I no longer had access to. I had already contacted customer service and had been given information that led me to return to the store to make an additional payment based on the correct amount. I simply wanted someone to clearly explain my account, what I owed, and what portion related to the phone versus the service. I also had an earlier interaction involving Fe and Fernando that I found unpleasant. Fernando chimed in during that interaction in a way that I perceived as rude and unsupportive. Because of that, I did not feel comfortable asking Fernando to assist me when I returned. I chose to give Fe another opportunity to help me, but unfortunately the communication again became overly aggressive when I was simply asking for clarification about my own account. Customers should not have to feel like they are entering a hostile environment simply because they need help understanding their account. There were also things that happened after the interaction that added to my discomfort. When I had my camera pointed toward Monty, he winked at the camera. When I exited the store the first time, I observed Monty laughing with other associates near the front as I was leaving. Regardless of what was intended, those actions made an already uncomfortable experience feel even worse. I have lived in this area before and have been a longtime Xfinity customer. I should not feel recognized in a way that results in every visit becoming a difficult or hostile experience. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for basic professionalism, respectful communication, accurate account information, and customer service that does not leave the customer feeling intimidated or ridiculed. After today's experience, I will be taking my business to another Xfinity location. This location needs to take a serious look at how customers are being treated. read more

This was a really frustrating experience from start to finish. Xfinity - Mobile Phones Near Me - San Jose, California

Great at Shipping Boxes, Terrible at Providing Internet One star is generous. While Comcast/Xfinity has mastered the logistics of shipping cardboard, they have completely failed at the basic task of providing a connection. The "Magical" Infrastructure Failure We signed up for service online, and to their credit, the modem arrived in two days with a "self-install" kit. The glaring issue? This house has never had Comcast service, and there is no physical line running from the pole to our home. Despite this obvious lack of infrastructure, Comcast sent a kit as if plugging it in would magically conjure a connection that doesn't exist. The burden was immediately pushed onto us to troubleshoot a problem that their sales and onboarding process should have proactively identified. The Technician Runaround & Blatant Dishonesty What followed was a maddening cycle of wasted time and outright lies. After scheduling a technician to run the line, we received a confirmation call ensuring the work would be done. Instead, the technician arrived, realized he actually had to perform manual labor, and claimed the "order was written incorrectly." He told us we'd get a call within 24 hours to reschedule. No one called. We called back and scheduled a second appointment for a 12 PM - 2 PM window. Shortly before noon, my husband received a call; when he answered, the person hung up. When he called back, he was sent directly to voicemail. At that same moment, a text arrived saying the tech was "en route." Two hours later? No one showed. No one called. Adding Insult to Injury When my husband called to investigate the "no-show," the customer service agent actually tried to upsell us on products for a service we don't even have yet! To make matters worse, she claimed the technician left a voicemail--a blatant lie, as we were staring at a silent phone all afternoon. Now, we are forced to wait another five days and take more time off work to accommodate them. It is beyond frustrating to be lied to because a technician simply didn't want to do the work required. They are already trying to charge me for services I don't have, and frankly, I've realized I don't need their service that badly. A truly disappointing and dishonest introduction to a company. read more

Comcast sucks hugely. They were yanking up the prices sneakily till it went north of $200/mo. I asked for a reduction in price. They sold me on a new plan that is lower in price, but NEVER mentioned it needs new equipment. New equipment shows by by email and the current equipment just stops working without notice. When I try to enable the new equipment, it fails Comcast agent on chat is unable to help. I ask for reverting to the old plan - and THAT fails, apparently due to some network issue. Meanwhile, WiFi router is being repeatedly toggled - we are repeatedly losing net connectivity without notice. Just the worst service ever. read more

This is location on 1566 Monterey Rd Ste 20, San Jose, CA 95110. Not a pleasant experience with the store. I had to wait 35-45 minutes to replace a remote. Once called, the employee said I didnt have to wait that long and to let the person know at front desk before check-in. Employee at the front end needs to be better train to consult with the customer before placing customers on a wait list to wait almost an hour on a Sunday. This happened today March 29, 2026. I entered the store at 3pm today and did not leave out until 3:40pm. **Make sure to tell them before you check-in that your replacing just a simple remote, otherwise you'll waste your time! The employees at this store are not helpful. When asked questions they respond with, "I can give you customer services phone number."

Don't buy Xfinity internet! I spent the last two days talking to people in a call center in India who were giggling like kids. I'd give zero stars if it were possible. I signed up for Xfinity internet and TV a few weeks ago, and the installation process was atrocious. The first technician gave up (too many trees), as did the second. The third was able to get the cable installed, but it took 6 hours and he was very unhappy...this process took about 5 weeks. My connection is supposed to be 500MB, but a speed test shows 132MB down and 73MP up. I finally got through to a "live" person via chat (a horror story for another time), and was told he could increase my speed to 1GB, and offer a better TV package for less than I was currently paying. After going through the online process to switch, my connection was dropped and the process began again. When I reached another "live" person via chat, I was told that what I was offered doesn't exist. I got through--old school/phone--to a human (another remarkable feat), and expressed my discontent, assuming she'd be able to help. Nope. She simply said "sorry, I can schedule your service disconnection, if you like." Avoid these folks at all costs! read more

I have existing XFinity service and upgraded to a faster speed today through the xfinity.com website. The upgrade deal included a new modem and would cost an extra $6/mo. Instead of having the model shipped, I opted for same day pickup at this store. BIG MISTAKE!!! When I got to the store, somehow my service agreement had been change to where I would be paying $200 MORE A MONTH!!! The lady at the counter kept saying over and over, "I didn't change anything". I think she doth protest too much. I canceled the upgrade, went home and got on XFinity Chat. They got my price back down to where it was supposed to be and even included a discounted iPad 16 with unlimited data. Stay away from these people!!! If you need to sign up or change your service, do it online or via chat. I'm not saying these people slammed me, but I'm not saying they didn't. I just know that my order gave one price at home and a vastly higher one at this store. read more

If I could give Xfinity 0 stars I would. Worst internet service provider I've ever had the displeasure dealing with. - Constant outages - Terrible service (Takes forever for a technician to come out) - Expensive plans If you can help it, choose ANY other ISP. read more

First let me clarify why the 5 Stars. THIS IS FOR DAVID (Monterey Rd. location) AND MARK (Technician) ONLY!! David works at the Monterey Rd. location and he is absolutely amazing. He should train all other employees on what it means to be professional, polite, and helpful! He was absolutely the best. If I have to go back to the store and he's not there, I will walk out and wait for him to come in. Mark is the technician that came to the house. He was knowledgeable, helpful and took all of 15 to 20 minutes to fix the situation. Not only that he was polite and professional. I would give one star for Xfinity's phone support. This is not an exaggeration, I spent six hours in two days with eight (8) different people with their phone support team. If it wasn't for trying to get this fixed for my father, I would've canceled the subscription on the spot. If you don't educate and train your teams they will not know how to do their jobs. It's apparent training their phone support team is not a priority for Xfinity. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed and have started looking for alternate options for Internet and cable. read more

Xfinity Mobile is the worst customer service, period. A customer of Xfinity for over 24 years, and they would rather lose a customer than own their mistakes. Shocking that a company's CEO, Board of Directors and strategists find it a good business model to follow. There are so many other service providers that deserve our $$'s. Xfinity's goal is driven by greed. 12 different Xfinity agents confirmed I was due and would receive a $700 credit. 3 months later Lucas (top supervisor that takes calls as his supervisor doesn't take calls per Lucas), and I'm first explained that too much time has passed for them to provide the credit, but then Lucas states they can only credit a portion of the erroneous charges due to the passing of time. What World is Xfinity and Lucas think they are in? Disrespect loses Customers. read more

Worst company ever. Comcast used to be good. I have had 25 to 35% of my paid speed for 6 months. I have had about 6 service technicians come out and nothing gets fixed. I called to have my cable card moved to a new Tivo box. I was told that cable cards are no longer supported. After several minutes of conversation and my request that was not granted to speak to a manager I was offer a FREE Xfinity box so the change would not financially impact me. A day later, I called to take them up on the deal, they refused the free box and refused to pull the recording from the original call. Of course, I am now evaluating both YouTubeTV and the Prime equivalent. After 30 years with Comcast, all I can say is shame on you and am happy to not be an investor. read more

I signed up two years ago and was pretty happy with the service and the price. My promotional period just ended so I expected my price to increase, it went up by $90 which I feel is excessive. Last month I went on the app to chat with a representative about adjusting my services and we found a package that would meet my needs at a price I could afford. This morning I received my bill and it turns out my services were never changed last month, the rep today said I never approved the change. I actually did and I have the chat log to prove it. Today I was on their chat line for over two hours with three different reps; apparently they kept passing me along when I refused their upgrade offers. I've worked in the telecom business doing the same job these reps do, and if I passed a customer along without doing the work I would be fired. Their behavior is completely unacceptable and lacks professionalism. While I was waiting for the chat rep to do their work, their automated system kept calling me; I never answered the call so I don't know why they'd call. I prefer to do things where there's a written record of the interaction, I don't rely on people's word because...well, they can bend the truth. I was finally able to get someone to do the change I requested, or at least I think they did it. When I check my account in a week or so, I'll see if they did anything. I'll update this review based on whether or not they completed my request correctly. read more

Well, it has been a love hate relationship over many years. From the groundbreaking digital cable pixilation era to modern high speed internet driven devices going dead, I have always felt held hostage by Comcast, and rarely experienced great customer service. The recent bologna with using up monthly data allowance on home internet is the new scam, and billing customers double, without not one customer care representative reaching out prior to taking money out of our bank accounts. I called, changed my service to add "more data" and the bill went down then back up to double. I have finally had enough, and you won't be getting any more of my business. Now due to the availability of other providers their monopoly is over, and we do not have to accept customer dis-service any longer. A few years ago, at my workplace in San Jose Ca, there were days when our Comcast business service went down and the so called back up internet would not even drive an email, so we finally installed Star Link for our back up. It worked very well. The connectivity interruption Comcast provided with so-called guaranteed up time was a big revenue loss. Comcast has grown so large that the customers are last in line for service, and the corporate office is first. See you later Xfinity, good Riddens & Good luck, we all hope you figure out that customers are 1st, I'm on to better things~ Todd P. read more

Avoid Xfinity at All Costs - Unreliable Service and Utterly Broken Support Over the past two months, Xfinity's internet service to my home has been a nightmare. Bandwidth swings wildly between 0 Mbps and 400 Mbps every 10 to 15 minutes, around the clock. Mornings are the worst, but frankly, there's no time of day that's consistently usable. Streaming, video calls, even basic browsing--everything is interrupted by these constant fluctuations. Repeated calls to Xfinity support are an exercise in futility. Each time, a remote agent insists on resetting the modem and then proclaims the issue "fixed." Spoiler: nothing changes. The sheer audacity of this scripted routine is insulting. Even worse, they alternately blame "network congestion" while simultaneously acting as if a modem reboot will solve the issue--as if those two explanations are even remotely compatible. It's dishonest and condescending. I'm tired of being treated like I'm the problem when it's clearly their infrastructure that's broken. The service is unreliable, support is superficial, and the entire customer experience is built around deflection, not resolution. Before posting this, I checked Consumer Reports. Unsurprisingly, Xfinity ranks in the bottom 20% of internet providers nationwide, scoring 1 out of 5 in every category--speed, reliability, customer service, and value. That tracks. If you live in my area (94087), I strongly recommend exploring any alternative--fiber, DSL, fixed wireless, even tethering from your phone--before giving a dime to Xfinity. You'll save time, money, and your sanity. read more
