Visiting my friends in California and we stopped at their favorite boba spot. This place is amazing! My friend got the mango green milk tea and I got the taro milk tea with boba - I'm pretty sure our drinks were gone before we got home because they were just so good! Visited on Friday afternoon during rush hour, the place is packed and I get it that the server probably overwhelmed and NOT wanted to be there, maybe? But my questions, why there is only one register open while the line were long and plus why all their apron is dirty and nasty, really... it's yucky. Who is the manager though? Because clearly manager should pay attention because not single apron was clean, its yucky. That's nasty. I ordered half and half signature milk tea with grass jelly. The grass jelly is a little bit to chunky and hard to get it with the straw. Some other company has it better, the texture is jelly liked and thinner, a lot easier on the straw. I probably will order again without grass jelly, plus the grass jelly was too sweet to my taste maybe it's canned one, I get it, we probably can't get it fresh here in USA, so no complain really besides it was too chunky. PS : The crews weren't look happy, maybe they were overwhelmed but at least the still show up to work, which I appreciate. These days, we can't expect much from people because a lot of going on and people weren't as eager as they used to, so I'm not going to bash on them unless they're rude to me. The Asian guy was pretty nice he says have a good one :) I wish more people put smiles on their face when they serve others, let's try again next time :) read more

Very disappointed with the male worker with the ponytail. We were waiting by the front door when one of the plushes on the wall fall down. No one close to it picks it up, so we walk over and pick it up and try and put it back on the wall but it kept falling so I handed it to him. He yells "where's the sign that says for people not to touch the stuff" Then he says "what's your order number" I tell it to him and he makes a smug face and signals to the drinks in front of him. He then rudely asks if we want a bag, is sighing and trying to fit the drinks in the bag all while looking at me and my daughter all bad. I grab the bag without a thank you because I obviously didn't like the service. And he yells out "YOUR WELCOME" as we leave. Idk who the manager is but I wouldn't want someone that is that rude to customers working for me. I unfortunately won't be going back. read more

We discovered Ding Tea a couple of months ago and been coming here since whenever we are down the street visiting my in-laws. So far I've been content with my milk tea selections, at times drinks have been too sweet however I feel I need to adjust sweetness level from no sweetness or 25-50% depending on the drink that is. read more

Good drinks but consistently bad service with rude employees. My wife and I enjoy the drinks but prepare ourselves for poor service every time. This last time we were 'scolded' because our order was called out and we grabbed our drinks before every single drink was at the counter. Don't call out the order if it isn't ready-simple, right? Kiwi juice with popping pearls were super yummy and the Hokkaido milk tea was good. I added egg pudding to the milk tea and it was not soft like it normally is, it was more firm and not as good texture wise, a little off putting. We also ordered the strawberry lemonade black tea with popping pearls and all of us said it was not good and had a weird aftertaste. We couldn't even drink it. Definitely will not order that one again. read more

I honestly loved everything I ordered. I loved the cake scone as it was very moist and the sandwiches were all divine with powerful flavors in each bite. I've been here a few times before, but I've never had the chance to review it. When I go here, the drinks and boba are always excellent. I usually get a Thai milk tea with less sugar and ice than other Ding Teas in the area, and it's always tasted tremendous. The milk teas they offer are fantastic! They're not powdery or syrupy, and the sweetness level is adjustable. It always comes out exactly like the previous time, which is a big plus! I went into ding tea today and as an avid boba connoisseur I think that the drink I had was delicious! I ordered a Hokkaido oolong milk tea and was excited to see that they had in stock, as my first trip to this location they did not have any Hokkaido drinks. The location is clean and the photo op wall is a nice touch, I also love the boba plushies they have out (I need to get one now)! Ding tea is my go to Boba shop. There are more places that are closer to my house but it's worth a travel. Ask for Chloe - she'll treat you right. Monster latte is very good as well and if you don't feel like a milk tea style drink, go for the Yakult style drinks w lychee. read more

Location maybe small but the drinks are always filled with flavor. It's nice to have a ding tea in Oceanside. The staff it quick and helpful when it comes to ordering. My only criticism is that sometimes it's hard to order with the loud music. But overall 10/10. read more

My total cost was $12.00. This Gold Coast Coffee Shop Is located inside the Westfield Shopping Center Mall in the corner on the second floor across from the J. C. Penny's Department Store. When I was walking towards the front entrance to the Gold Coast Coffee Shop last night , I could smell the aroma of a flavored Iced Frappuccino being made in a blender and being served for one of their customers. I received helpful advice on the different kinds of flavored Coffee Drinks, Chai Teas, Coffee Lattes, and different varieties on the Flavored Cold Frappuccinos that were on their menu board last night. The Gold Coast Coffee Shop also serves really delicious pastries I was staring at these pastries in their clear display case last night. I noticed their breakfast pastries were Strawberry Cream Cheese, Blueberry Cream Cheese, Chocolate, Cinnamon with a white cream cheese icing that was drizzled on top on every one if these yummy looking desserts. The younger woman employee told me she has been working for this Gold Coast Coffee Shop for one year now and she does enjoy working for her manager because she is very respectful and will coordinate with her college schedule. I enjoyed my first time experience drinking their really refreshing and very decadent White Chocolate Frappuccino with the added Whipped Cream Topping. And especially trying one of their very popular and New Albacore Tuna Panini Sandwiches. I told the woman employee that I will come back again when I am shopping at this Carlsbad Westfield Shopping Center Mall soon and rider a new flavor. I received excellent customer service and really delicious flavored FrappuccinoCoffee. This Frappuccino was lightly sweetened. I highly recommend this Gold Coast Coffee Shop.

My order was taken promptly and the gentleman who took my order had excellent customer service taking my order, then...there was the wait to get my order. There were 3 employees and two were standing around while one worked. A customer who came in after me got his order, and all employees were just standing around. I went to the counter and asked if I had been forgotten. 2 of the employees got to work on my order. The only young woman working there was on her phone and handling food with the same gloves. I said excuse me, to her and pointed out that she had been on her phone and handled food in without getting new gloves. She looked at me and said, "So do you want me to change my gloves?" I replied "yes, it's a sanitation issue. I have worked in the industry and taught restaurant management." She changed gloves, cut off the edges of the Taiyaki waffle she had touched with the other gloves, finished my dish, and slid my finished dish across the counter. She said nothing as she slid the dish of taiyaki towards me, and turned and walked away from the counter. The restaurant had an "A" rating, but the cross contamination issue of handling personal phone and food with the same gloves, is not "A" rating behavior. It was close to closing and I do understand that it was getting late. It is still very disappointing. The restaurant did appear to be clean in the customer area. As I watched all 3 employees, the gentlemen working showed safe and sanitary work behaviors. I hope this cross contamination behavior by the female employee gets corrected.
