Tea Amo was okay overall. There was only one employee working, so understandably it was took him a longer time to fulfill the orders. After a long wait, I was able to eat the popcorn chicken. Sadly, it wasn't very crispy so I would not get that again. There were quite a few chicken pieces that were small, so the chicken wasn't that juicy inside. I liked the drinks though. The house fruit tea was refreshing, and came with some strawberries and orange slices. I also got the jasmine milk tea with tiramisu foam, and that was a pretty solid drink.

The oreo one is way better but slightly on the sweeter side. The popcorn chicken has good flouring but i wish it was bigger chunks. The croffle looks funny but it is a waffle croissant but it looks like someone took a croissant and smashed it with their fist. Overall Thoughts: Best Thing I ate: I guess the chicken Something to Improve: Prices, use real mangos, and make the croffle actually more crispy Thanks!
The shop itself has a really cozy, vibe. You can tell it's a local favorite. Service was friendly, and there's a good variety on the menu if you're into both drinks and snacks. The taro bingsoo was super light and fluffy. Not overly sweet, which I actually appreciated. It's definitely a good shareable dessert, especially if you want something refreshing instead of heavy. The taro with creme brulee was the standout for me though. The layers were really pretty, and once mixed, it had that creamy taro flavor with a slight caramelized richness from the brûlée topping. It felt a little more elevated than your typical taro milk tea.
We just finished having Shabu Shabu at Shabuworks and so we were so thirsty afterwards. I searched on Yelp for the nearest Boba and shaved ice place and TEA AMO appeared... BRÛLÉE MILK TEA: 8/10 Not bad and the drink was very thick. It was nice and creamy and more like a dessert... MATCHA LATTE: 7/10 The fragrance was nice but, I could not taste much of the matcha. The milk and sugar was overpowering the matcha. Perhaps the matcha ratio was 30% and milk and sugar were 70% SERVICE: B+ Hardworking and was very focused on work. Not much of a chatterbox but, she got the job done. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Very charming and lovely place to sit, sip and chat at... TEA AMO KEEP ON ROCKN!!!!!
Great little spot in a convenient plaza with plenty of parking! Service was a bit slow. I was a bit disappointed they were already out of popcorn chicken by 6:00 PM, but it gave me a chance to try the House Tater Tots instead. The tots were the absolute highlight of the visit. I also ordered the Taro Milk with Taro Mud. It was decent and hit the spot, though I've had more flavorful versions elsewhere.
Came here for dessert and we got a Mango and Strawberry Bingsoo. Both were delicious and In my opinion large enough to share. It's not icy, it's more of a creamy texture. It's takes more time for them to make this so be patient. Service was friendly. Place was clean and cute.

I was in the San Marcos area for work and decided to check out this tea shop nearby. The ambiance inside was very nice -- clean, minimalistic aesthetics that made for a chill vibe. No line when we arrived around 3 PM on a weekday, so ordering was quick and easy. We ordered the royal milk tea and jasmine milk tea with boba. The jasmine milk tea at 50% sweetness still felt a bit too sweet for me and honestly had more of a juice-like taste -- the tea flavor didn't really shine through. The boba itself was solid: semi-sweet, chewy, and fresh. We also tried the mango bingsoo, which was excellent. The shaved ice was super light and airy, topped with condensed milk and a cherry. The only real downside was the "fresh" mango, which unfortunately wasn't ripe and ended up being quite bitter -- a bit of a letdown on an otherwise great dessert. Overall: tea was not super impressive, but the bingsoo was solid and worth trying.

Service: 0.5/1. Order at the counter. Can be a little slower when there is only one worker there, but otherwise drinks come out reasonably fast. Total: 3/5

Love this place! They still got the mystery cups. Which is what I initially wanted, but I haven't been here in a long time and they have so much dessert now!!! We got the cookies n' cream bingsoo!! I love bingsoo!! It was so good!!! I need to try all the flavors!! I need a second person tho, it's a lot! I should've stopped there, but then I got macarons and a slice of cake. The macarons I got were the Nutella boba and caramel monkey. The caramel monkey was my favorite because it was super soft, fresh, and the cookie had great flavor. The Dubai cake was good but really rich. I definitely need milk or tea with this one. Service is good. It was pretty empty when we came here. I love this place, but I waste a lot of money here and I'm on a diet. That's the only reason why I haven't been here in a long time. I'm pretty addicted to this place. read more

"One of these things is not like the other... Tea Amo apparently believes the menu is more of a work of fiction than a promise. I asked why what was being offered didn't match what was advertised on the menu. The employee looked at me like I was the one speaking nonsense, then hit me with a shrug and, "I don't make the rules." Cool. You may not make the rules, but someone sure made this menu--and apparently nobody bothers to make sure it matches reality. If your customers need a decoder ring to figure out what's actually available versus what's printed, that's not a customer problem. That's a business problem. Do better. Or at the very least, update the menu so it stops catfishing people. Seriously... WTF." read more

Daughter was in the mood for a quick sweet drink after practice so came here since they were on our way home. We arrived just before closing and staff was very friendly and sweet. Daughter ordered the taro milk tea. She liked it. She was just sad it didn't have the plastic top to pop the straw right in but still enjoyed it. read more

The drinks were really good , I ordered the dirty thai blend and Matcha frappe, both were really good but I loved the blended Thai tea. Service was alright. The server this early on a Sunday 2/15.2026 wasn't as friendly. She seemed very grumpy and unhappy to be working. We said good morning and she just informed us. but the place is cute and ambience of the place was nice. Drinks were also good! read more
It's so hard to support small businesses when you're paying for something that's horrible! I've had bingsu many times at other places, and this is by far the worst I've ever had. I'm so disappointed! Just look at it -- it's so sad! Instead of fresh mango, it's made with hard, cold, tiny mango chunks. The shaved ice is flavored with mango syrup instead of real mango. It's just syrupy ice -- nothing else! Other places include pudding, ice cream, and other toppings underneath. read more

I was here today for the first time in a long time and I forgot how fun their menu was. All the drinks are really cute and some of them are fun like the potted plant one with Oreos on top to make it look like dirt. I really liked the potted plant and the service was friendly and quick. read more
One of the best boba / bingsoo spot imo.. came here after eating manna with friends and they wanted boba so we went here and this place never disappoint.. service is always welcoming and the drinks come out pretty quick for all 6 drinks! Now that's fast service with quality drinks.. definitely need to come back here next time for the mango bingsoo.. the lighting here is good.. u get the sunlight if you're in the front.. and towards the back has social media worthy shots you could take.. overall I'd give this place a 10 stars if I could read more

We came here on a rainy day so naturally, my hubby went down to place the order for us. He grabbed the receipt that was handed to him. He came back to help me take of our kids and I took the receipt to go back in to pick up our drinks and possibly order some popcorn chicken. I came in, waited and when I saw the drinks came out, I came up to the counter to pick it up, showed the receipt, and the girl looked at me weirdly. When I saw the "receipt" it didn't list the item we ordered. It was just a credit card proof of transaction. Thus, I had to go out in the rain and get my husband to pick up the drinks for us. First of all, if you're handing out a receipt, it should show the items ordered!!! And please don't treat patrons with weird looks... We ordered a mango green tea and milky way. The drinks are decent but not a very nice first experience. I ended up not getting the popcorn chicken because I'm not trying to get drenched and get more dirty looks from the staff here. From the looks of it, the place is pretty nice and looks clean. I don't know if I'd come back. read more

Such a cute boba cafe! Plenty of seating, really good for meeting with friends, studying, or even working. A line can develop pretty quickly when ordering, but drinks do come out just as fast so that helps! Staff members were nice and made ordering easy. I ordered the lychee green tea with lychee jelly and it was delicious. Drank it way too quickly. Unfortunately they didn't have milk alternatives so I didn't have a chance to try any milk teas with boba. Still the lychee was worth it! They do have a pretty extensive menu as well which is nice. read more
