I love their online ordering process, it's so easy. I just use the app, choose my order. Usually, a bagel with cream cheese and tomato (my fav) or occasionally an egg sandwich. Then I drive to whichever location I've ordered from that's close to me. My order is always waiting for me. I grab it and go. My orders have always been accurate and staff members greet me when I come in. This streamlines my life when I need it to. I appreciate the efficiency. I love their bagels. They are very chewy and moist. The service was very good. Very clean. I do recommend this place. they have a very good selection of bagels. Visited the Einstein Bros. in Vista on a Sunday around noon and had a pretty good overall experience. I ordered the brisket bagel, which had good flavor and tasted fresh, but it could have been warmer. By the end, the bagel itself had gotten a little too soft, and I was hoping for a bit more structure. The vanilla cold brew was good, though, and made the meal better overall. The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient with our questions. We got our food in under 10 minutes, which was great for a busy midday weekend visit. The store was clean, bright, and surprisingly calm for the time of day. Prices felt fair, but the kiosk's default tipping percentages were higher than I'd expect for a counter-service place, not a dealbreaker, but definitely noticeable. Friday the 13th. Right before lunchtime. Place was busy. Staff was super friendly and hustled. They had a computer glitch so it delayed everything a little bit, but they kept us informed and the customers all hung in there. I got a veg out with avocado lunch sandwich on the ancient grain bagel and it's absolutely delicious. The red onions are really good not too hot but just right. Plenty of parking. Happy to have Einstein in the area as a quick breakfast option. We ordered the Maplehouse Egg Sandwich and Garden Avocado Egg Sandwich (+bacon) on this trip. I was a little hesitant about the Maplehouse because I thought it might too sweet. The menu's image with long strands of maple syrup drizzle had me wanting it. Delicious. A balance of sweet and savory. I would definitely order it again. My husband's Garden Avocado was tasty as well. The roasted tomato shmear really makes the sandwich come together. Nice to switch bites between the two sandwiches. My usual is the Farmhouse Egg. I love the crisp hash brown bits of the bagel, the shmear. Yum! Glad to have a few sandwich options I can choose from and know they'll deliver. Einstein definitely knows what they're doing Their sandwiches are hearty, a great option for lunch when you don't have a lot of time. I mostly order on the app so I can use deals. Not a fan of their customization which defaults two eggs, an up-charge. Sandwich photos always show two eggs but the price is really only for one egg which is what I usually want anyway. Einstein bagels are freshly made every day. They are delicious, soft and chewy. Just the way I like them. They have a wide variety to choose from- savory and sweet. The service was great. I ordered 2 vegetarian egg sandwiches and received one with bacon. Since I don't eat bacon, I returned it and they made me a new sandwich. They let me keep the bacon sandwich which I gave to my wife. I also ordered a dozen Everything Bagels but they ran out. Instead of waiting 30 minutes for them to bake a new batch, the manager let me choose the premium bagels (jalapeño cheese) at no extra cost. He even gave me a few extra bagels. Thank you! The ambiance is your typical air conditioned Einstein store with tables and chairs to dine in if you prefer. They could not say why & only refunded 1.99, which would have been the same cost of the drink & bagel separately - so what is the "deal" you are supposed to get? Customer service from Kristine was horrible. She was very rude. Another employee told her to refund me completely - that would have been better if they wanted to keep a customer. This morning I am highly disappointed in Einstein bagels! I am a regular customer whom typically starts off the morning with a nice cheddar and jalapeño bagel but to my surprise, upon ordering, I am told that "We are out of cheddar cheese!!" Doesn't quite makes sense for a company who sells sandwiches bagels, and etc. on a daily! I have spent numerous mornings coming to this business and have never had an experience like this. However the horror doesn't stop there. I then attempt to walk over to the cooler that is at customers access to purchase cream cheese and they're out of regular cream cheese as well. Help me make sense of this all?! Unfortunately I am met with negative results when asking if they may have some in the back! instead I am referred to hot honey cream cheese for my dozen worth of bagels. NOT SATISFIED AT ALL! My morning is genuinely ruined! And due to the experience, I will no longer be returning back to Einstein bagels! read more
