very rude service. the worker that is sweeping was very rude and not polite at all. I asked if i could get some fruit since it was being put away already, he didn't respond but did go to the back and grabbed mango and peches he brought them out and as he was putting the containers down he slammed them on the table and then i asked for popping boba and he was nice enough to go and get it from the back but when he put it down he slammed it on the table as i was grabbing fruit, the fruit fell on my foot, he was not apologetic at all! he just stood there and looked! this is not the first bad incident i've had at this place. i love frozen yogurt but the service at the place is not welcoming neither are the workers and its not worth your money at all. maybe better workers with better service would make this place better read more

I'm serving my toppings and putting the spoon back how I found it& the worker or owner not sure kept "fixing" the spoon a certain way after I had used it. I use to like going to Fruttos. It had a wide selection of yogurt and toppings. However in the last few months the cost has almost doubled making a small size yogurt $8 or $9 dollars. They had the gall just now to send an email in hopes of me coming back. The offer 10% off of $30 of yogurt. No one should be spending $30 to take their families to yogurt. The reason I am not coming anymore is the raise of price. I mean just saying 10% of $30? Yogurt should be inexpensive like a scoop of ice cream or a Dairy Queen Blizzard. The last time I went and got my usual which is usually $4 or so...  it was over $8. A young family got 2 yogurts for their children and I almost died when the cost of the 2 was $17. I can buy a desert at a restaurant for less. I understand costs have gone up because of food shortages but also understand yogurt should not be so expensive its more than a meal at a fast food restaurant. Please remember that and until there are adjustments I will go and take friends to Peppertree or the Water Shack down the street where there are  much more reasonable prices. You might want to consider that there are a number of options opening or have been open around you. Peppertree, Water Shack and now Dog Haus is offering yogurt and ice cream. They are also opening a Handel's ice cream too. All of these are going to be within a 1/4 mile or less from you and offer much more for far less prices. read more

Pleasantly surprised! The hubster decided to surprise me & take me on a fro-yo date. We've lived in Vista for 1 year & it was time we tried something close to home. When I saw the lack of stars on yelp 1/2 way to Fruttos, my expectations were kind of low. Well we were both pleasantly surprised. It's true they might not have as many flavors as others, but plenty to choose from as far as I'm concerned. I believe there were 6 or 7 different flavors But!!! The amount of toppings & syrups were the bomb! You have to really take a few minutes, IMO to check them all out before u start adding.... tons of delish toppings! The one thing I really enjoy about this place are the fruit combinations they come up with. This past weekend they offered a strawberry/tangerine. I don't know if this is a chain or not, but it seems more mom&pop which is nice. It's definitely not sleek and shiny like the chains. Instead you get more of a personal touch. The toppings are plentiful, and in covered containers (which I appreciate, because it makes me think they're less germy). This place is good despite the limited selection of froyo flavors they have. It's a small restaurant with about 4 tables inside and 2 outside. So, not much of a place to hang out with a large group of friends. It's clean and the service is very friendly... Definite plus! They are a bit overpriced compared to other places I've been to at $0.39 per ounce but somehow it feels justified. They have a large amount of toppings from candies to cereals to fruits. I hop back and forth between Fruttos and Golden Spoon constantly and can't make up my mind. Do I want a cup full of frozen yogurt (Golden Spoon) or pile on the toppings (Fruttos)? Fruttos is the place to be if you don't want to pay $20 just for adding some peanut butter cups, coconut shavings, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, gummy worms and M&Ms to even out the sugar overload. My wife is really good at ordering too many toppings and so Fruttos saves my wallet every time. Not only that, but they have a great membership program. The staff are mostly high school age and just stay around long enough for you to pay, but HEY! I don't care. I get to pick and choose 10 different types of yogurt and add 455 different toppings. Well, maybe not so many toppings but you get the point. It tastes so good you forget that it's produced by a bacterial fermentation of milk. I kind of ignored the Self Serve FroYo craze in its first couple of years. I walked past the Pinkberries popping up on every street corner without even thinking twice. Occasionally I started stopping in DC favorites like Mr. Yogato and TangySweet with friends who discussed how much they love mochi sprinkled on top and the bright colored spoons that most establishments provide. I didn't see what they saw until recently and let me tell you I have been bitten by the FroYo bug! Fruttos Yogurt is by far the best tasting frozen yogurt around! I was bummed that North County didn't have the quality froyo I've had while living in La Jolla (Yogurtland) or while on the East Coast, until my coworkers brought me to this wonderful place one hot day in May. Most frozen yogurt places I have tried in North County have rather artificial tasting flavors or extremely limited menus. They get the quirky and trendy aspects (like the neon chairs and spoons) of self serve but don't follow through with the quality of the product they are providing for customers to dispense and top. Fruttos on the other hand gets everything that makes self serve frozen yogurt as great as it is. They have such great flavors and mix them up regularly. I absolutely love the Hawaiin coconut! So tasty. They also have a diverse number of toppings which always make my visits more exciting In terms of service, I am not sure why everyone is so bummed out by the people who work here (a common theme in other reviews). Everyone I have met has been friendly and helpful. AND they are open until 11 PM Sunday-Thursday and 12 AM Friday and Saturday. Music to my ears. Their frequent buyer program is also rather sweet. It gives you free froyo at a much faster rate than any of the buy ten get one free rewards programs I have seen at local cafes and such.
