Well, I did give you a visit again down the line. I was following the downward order of your menu guide when ordering "Could I have 16oz, 50% ice, and 25% sugar of..." She cuts me off 'Of what?' Well, I was getting there. I finish my order and she fights me on the sugar level "We recommend at least 50% sugar for that drink." I say "No, 25% still" Side note: your worker just handled cash, didn't see her wash her hands, maybe she did behind the counter or maybe she wiped on a rag, regardless, grabbing the ice scooper by the scoop on accident rather than the handle requires another scooper. She uses the scooper anyhow and scoops the ice. I get my drink and I tell her it's way too sweet. She tells me there's no sugar in it. I say I ordered "25% sugar" she says that's just the syrup on the side. It was all confusing. I asked to re-make the drink with 0%. She asked "Do you still want grass jelly in it?" Well, yeah, it was paid for. Finally, so much better. These woke Zoomers make everything difficult. Glad the 3 zoomers are working tonight are actually working and not just on their screens all day, but they aren't pleasant, neither am I when I come in here. Holy options! I really wanted a milk tea so we came here, boy was I not ready for how many drinks they have! Truly, I think anyone could find something they enjoy here. Downside is they were fairly busy and not the most helpful but that's all good. Lots of pictures and honestly you're not going to know until you try it. I had the monster milk tea and my husband had the regular ole Thai tea. I liked his more, mine was overly sweet but I should've changed the sweetness. Very friendly staff and large menu with lots of ways to customize your tea! Face masks are enforced to be worn correctly over nose and mouth when inside. Saw a customer wearing his mask on his chin and the staff asked him politely to correctly wear his mask or else they couldn't take his order. He refused to do so and the staff apologized that they couldn't serve him or take his order but her could order online via GrubHub. He stood there for awhile and the staff continued to politely ask the next customer for their order and eventually the guy left. Alright I guess I should leave a review since I'm here every weekend. I've been a huuuuge fan of the ding tea franchise since they were in SD, so you can imagine my excitement hearing that they would open here. I've been coming here since they opened and honestly? Im still a big fan. The teas are strong and rich in flavor. My fave drinks are the slushees and the matcha heaven. The staff is very well trained when it comes to customer service. Never had a bad interaction with any of them. One minor complaint I have is depending on the barista, the drinks that do allow for customizable sweetness might not even make a difference. I've ordered drinks that I requested 50% sweetness and it tasted like 150% sweetness. So just be careful and let the barista know before you leave the building. I am stil grateful this is a boba place in Oceanside that allows for the customization. Also since it's a boba small shop and they have some seats and tables available, I would say it's a nice place to hang for small parties, like 2-4 people max. I don't think it's an ideal place go to stay and get some work done as it is very loud with the music and the drinks being made. It's not impossible though, as long as you have some noise canceling headphones. This is my current go-to boba place in Oceanside and will continue to happily come here to treat myself. read more

Sadly, today was not the best visit at this store. We ordered online through the clover app. Quick and easy ordering, we ordered a large brown sugar milk tea with golden boba. We got there, and the staff told us they were out of golden boba which was fine. But when we got our drink, and she called it brown sugar milk tea, it did not look like a brown sugar milk tea. We thought "oh maybe its just different at this location" nope, it tasted regular milk tea.
