It's great to have a good boba place in the area - but they JUST opened (4.22.21). That said, they still have a few kinks they need to work out. A lot of the employees (most) are still in training and some don't even know how to use a blender (this made us laugh, but really though!)... They just seem a bit flustered. I asked for boba and got crystal boba instead. It's OK, but it was hard... kind of disappointing. It'd also be nice to see an online ordering system! PARKING. Brace yourselves. It's terrible. There's underground parking that's closed off so a lot of folks are parking on the side with their hazards on in one-way lanes. Bottlenecks everywhere + everyone looking down on their phone instead of being present in an already busy lot. People were backing up without looking and we almost saw 3 accidents in a span of 3-5 minutes.. They're open at 11am and close at 9pm. So you're either dealing with the lunch or dinner crowd that's there for the other restaurants. Something to keep in mind when you go ;) TIP TO THE BUSINESS. If you're going to have someone work the register - please ask them to speak up. This is the 3rd time I visit the location and my order has been wrong. I placed a pick up order and all of the drinks were made incorrectly. I asked for one of my drinks without boba and was given boba. When I asked to have it remade she denied my request. She then only handed me two drinks when I had four in total. When I asked, she told me there was only two. I had to ask her to check again and she confirmed that she didn't pay attention to the other drinks. Once I got home I noticed all the taro drinks tasted like water, I had undercooked boba in another, and the last one had jelly instead of egg pudding. I also asked for the drink to be reduced in sugar, due to my grandma having diabetes, and it tasted like they put double the amount. Overall it's safe to say I will not be coming back to this place. Well, I did give you a visit again down the line. I was following the downward order of your menu guide when ordering "Could I have 16oz, 50% ice, and 25% sugar of..." She cuts me off 'Of what?' Well, I was getting there. I finish my order and she fights me on the sugar level "We recommend at least 50% sugar for that drink." I say "No, 25% still" Side note: your worker just handled cash, didn't see her wash her hands, maybe she did behind the counter or maybe she wiped on a rag, regardless, grabbing the ice scooper by the scoop on accident rather than the handle requires another scooper. She uses the scooper anyhow and scoops the ice. I get my drink and I tell her it's way too sweet. She tells me there's no sugar in it. I say I ordered "25% sugar" she says that's just the syrup on the side. It was all confusing. I asked to re-make the drink with 0%. She asked "Do you still want grass jelly in it?" Well, yeah, it was paid for. Finally, so much better. These woke Zoomers make everything difficult. Glad the 3 zoomers are working tonight are actually working and not just on their screens all day, but they aren't pleasant, neither am I when I come in here. I was there today around 2 and it was super busy and the cashier was clearly stressed. I noticed the cashier in front with a green shirt struggling to get orders in and make them all in a timely matter ALL by herself! I was able to see another worker in the back with red hair just sitting there as I waited for the cashier to make my drink and the other customers drinks as well. Currently at this location waiting for my order to be finished. The cashier who is a girl has a nasty attitude. Slamming everything and placing everything in a passive aggressive manner. Never coming here again. I always tip but not if you give the worst attitude before I even fully place my order in. I've worked a cashier job before and I understand that it can be overwhelming how ever people come here to treat themselves so part of your job is to not let the consumer know you're having an insufferable time doing your job. Holy options! I really wanted a milk tea so we came here, boy was I not ready for how many drinks they have! Truly, I think anyone could find something they enjoy here. Downside is they were fairly busy and not the most helpful but that's all good. Lots of pictures and honestly you're not going to know until you try it. I had the monster milk tea and my husband had the regular ole Thai tea. I liked his more, mine was overly sweet but I should've changed the sweetness. Very friendly staff and large menu with lots of ways to customize your tea! Face masks are enforced to be worn correctly over nose and mouth when inside. Saw a customer wearing his mask on his chin and the staff asked him politely to correctly wear his mask or else they couldn't take his order. He refused to do so and the staff apologized that they couldn't serve him or take his order but her could order online via GrubHub. He stood there for awhile and the staff continued to politely ask the next customer for their order and eventually the guy left. I really want to commend two of your employees, by the name of Elijah (?) and Johnny. They both recognize me as I come in and grab a seat. I need to grab a seat because I am usually pretty breathless. I have Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM), which makes it difficult to stand in line or walk. Anyway they always come to me and take my order, take my money, and proceed to go back and make my drink, ring the register make change for me. They even get my phone number so I can get my Clover points. I really appreciate their consideration and thoughtfulness. Without it, I think I probably would not enjoy coming to get my Boba tea. I've been a huuuuge fan of the ding tea franchise since they were in SD, so you can imagine my excitement hearing that they would open here. I've been coming here since they opened and honestly? Im still a big fan. The teas are strong and rich in flavor. My fave drinks are the slushees and the matcha heaven. The staff is very well trained when it comes to customer service. Never had a bad interaction with any of them. One minor complaint I have is depending on the barista, the drinks that do allow for customizable sweetness might not even make a difference. I've ordered drinks that I requested 50% sweetness and it tasted like 150% sweetness. So just be careful and let the barista know before you leave the building. I am stil grateful this is a boba place in Oceanside that allows for the customization. Also since it's a boba small shop and they have some seats and tables available, I would say it's a nice place to hang for small parties, like 2-4 people max. I don't think it's an ideal place go to stay and get some work done as it is very loud with the music and the drinks being made. It's not impossible though, as long as you have some noise canceling headphones. This is my current go-to boba place in Oceanside and will continue to happily come here to treat myself. read more

The people working there are stellar and really quick. The place is clean, and very artsy with the decor. Sadly, today was not the best visit at this store. We ordered online through the clover app. Quick and easy ordering, we ordered a large brown sugar milk tea with golden boba. We got there, and the staff told us they were out of golden boba which was fine. But when we got our drink, and she called it brown sugar milk tea, it did not look like a brown sugar milk tea. We thought "oh maybe its just different at this location" nope, it tasted regular milk tea.
