I have always loved Ding Tea! This has been a favorite location of mine for years, honestly, since they opened they have been my favorite. I love the consistency of all of their milk teas and boba and I love the fun flavors/combos they create. I usually get most of my drinks at 25%-50% sweetness since every drink has their own natural sweetness. Everytime I go, I am always greeted by the sweetest team members. It's really easy to order and drinks come out pretty quickly. I usually like to sit inside, but there are only a few tables and they can get busy, so sometimes it's difficult to find seating. It usually really easy to find parking in the plaza, although it may not be close to Ding Tea. My usual go-to orders for milk teas are matcha, taro, monster Ube, brown sugar, and oreo. I love that you can ask for alternative milks with most of their milk teas. I recently had the pistachio matcha Oreo frappe with boba. It was so good! Might be one of my favorites now. Love the creamy thickness of the pistachio matcha Oreo frappe with fresh boba. I had this at 50% sweetness as the Oreo (that was blended in) definitely is plenty sweet and I loved the balance of the nutty flavor from the pistachio. You can't go wrong with any drink though because they kill it with every flavor and combo.

Came in for a Mango Slush with boba. We've never been here or other locations. I was disappointed with the mango slush as other places are creamy and milk based with dark boba. Here, the slush melted really fast because the boba was warm. So we ended up with half melted slush with warm little boba. The taste was meh as well. Will not return because this seems like a no brainer with a slush. Good points: place was clean, sit down tables, nice lighting, smelled amazing from waffle cone, and service was pretty quick... but no smiles or greeting. Service needs improvement. More police and friendly workers. ..... and no warm boba!

The first drink we ordered was a signature milk tea slush with golden boba. Ding tea has one of my favorite boba - its always just the right chewiness and sweetness. The signature milk tea slush is exactly what is sounds like - signature milk tea flavor but in slushy consistency. Rating: 9/10 The second drink was a thai tea slush. This drink was extremely sweet so I would definitely recommend getting 75% or even 50% sweetness customization if you order this drink. Rating: 5/10. Service was friendly and pretty quick. We waited about 5-10 min for our drinks. Ambiance inside was cute - had lots of halloween decorations and even a backdrop for pictures for those interested.

The wait time was about 25 minutes, which is a lot for one drink. To be fair it was pretty busy and there were only two employees. The signature milk tea with boba and mango jellies was good, 4.5/5. Interior works, it was just so busy and there weren't enough chairs for everyone waiting. Made the local bike kids laugh by farting with my Tesla. "Make a wise life"

Wowza! Who knew North County has been waiting for boba to hit up here. This place was biZy! But wow, I enjoyed my drink a lot! I went adventurous.. because I really don't stray too much from my tea or milk tea with boba. This time, I wanted this oreo looking shake called Cheezo oreo. It was yummy! Also, I noticed their golden boba is a tad different than honey boba, huh? I'm no expert, but it has a slight Chewier bite. Not as soft on the outside like the honey boba (the black tapioca balls). I like it, but I almost prefer honey boba. They had a kiosk at the front with a sign to use when busy, but it was not on. There were a few tables inside and outside. It's in the same shopping center as Guahan Grill and IHOP. I'll be back for boba at Ding!

boba was good as usual. My issue was that we ordered a bubble waffle and they gave us an old one. if you look at the time stamp on the drinks, it was 7pm when we ordered. but the waffle we received was ordered at 6:42 and it was a different order number. We got a hard cold waffle that had been sitting out for at least 18 minutes. It just wasn't a good look.

This is my go-to boba spot in North San Diego! The teas here are always so good, and they have a great selection to choose from. My absolute favorite is the wintermelon milk tea with 75% sugar, caffeinated, it's perfectly sweet and refreshing every time. The boba is always on point, with just the right chewiness. Highly recommend if you're in the area and need a boba fix! Service is quick!

Me and my husband just went to the Ding tea in Oceanside and Jonathan that helped us was amazing. We ordered our original drinks and then a small kiwi honey to try and I did not like it so he offered to replace it with whatever we wanted and not only did he replace it but he gave us a large size. Holy options! I really wanted a milk tea so we came here, boy was I not ready for how many drinks they have! Truly, I think anyone could find something they enjoy here. Downside is they were fairly busy and not the most helpful but that's all good. Lots of pictures and honestly you're not going to know until you try it. I had the monster milk tea and my husband had the regular ole Thai tea. I liked his more, mine was overly sweet but I should've changed the sweetness. Very friendly staff and large menu with lots of ways to customize your tea! Face masks are enforced to be worn correctly over nose and mouth when inside. Saw a customer wearing his mask on his chin and the staff asked him politely to correctly wear his mask or else they couldn't take his order. He refused to do so and the staff apologized that they couldn't serve him or take his order but her could order online via GrubHub. He stood there for awhile and the staff continued to politely ask the next customer for their order and eventually the guy left. Proud of the young girls working for standing up for their store policy, remaining calm and polite! VERY IMPRESSED with how the staff handled the situation while the store was very busy. Can order ahead online, call in or order in person. Very delicious milk teas! Glad I found Ding Tea and will be returning frequently! read more

I visit Oceanside once a year and Ding tea is always my go-to when I'm here. You can adjust the sugar, which I strongly recommend. Some drinks do not let you adjust the sugar such as the Thai tea, so make sure to ask. The service is very quick and accurate but there is usually a small wait due to the popularity of this location. Loved all my drinks I ordered here. Got one for everyone in my family. The boba was cooked perfectly. The sweetness wasn't too sweet, it was perfect. I loved it I will go back. This is the best boba place in Oceanside & Carlsbad the store was clean & decorated very nicely which was a cute vibe. The workers were very nice, friendly & helpful as well! Alright I guess I should leave a review since I'm here every weekend. I've been a huuuuge fan of the ding tea franchise since they were in SD, so you can imagine my excitement hearing that they would open here. I've been coming here since they opened and honestly? Im still a big fan. The teas are strong and rich in flavor. My fave drinks are the slushees and the matcha heaven. The staff is very well trained when it comes to customer service. Never had a bad interaction with any of them. One minor complaint I have is depending on the barista, the drinks that do allow for customizable sweetness might not even make a difference. I've ordered drinks that I requested 50% sweetness and it tasted like 150% sweetness. So just be careful and let the barista know before you leave the building. I am stil grateful this is a boba place in Oceanside that allows for the customization. Also since it's a boba small shop and they have some seats and tables available, I would say it's a nice place to hang for small parties, like 2-4 people max. I don't think it's an ideal place go to stay and get some work done as it is very loud with the music and the drinks being made. It's not impossible though, as long as you have some noise canceling headphones. This is my current go-to boba place in Oceanside and will continue to happily come here to treat myself. read more

Food: 7/10. Boba at DT is consistently good at all locations I've been to and this is no exception. Boba was freshly made and hot though maybe a bit smaller than I'd like. Atmosphere: 7/10. Well-lit. Spacious enough. Some Instagrammable spots if you care for that. Clean floors & tables. Staff: 10/10. Fast and friendly. Knowledgeable as well. Been to several Ding Teas but this one has horrible customer service. Just go to the one in San Marcos if you absolutely want Ding Tea for your boba fix. Was the only person in line and noticed that the person in front was taking an online order. Did not even look at me or tell me that he'll be with me in a bit, just ignored me. Couple of girls at the back just chatting it up. This went on for a good 5-10 mins. Then the guy finished the online order and the phone rang and dude answers the phone first even though I've been waiting this whole time. Just left. These guys probably won't get my order right even if I stayed anyway. If you want your boba cravings satisfied, go to TNL or JB Juice instead. Their stuff is better and at least you'll be supporting local small business. Edit: Also called to voice my complaint and just got hung up on. read more

I was so happy that a boba store opened locally in Oceanside. The "Oreo dream" tasted extremely smooth and creamy with the taro, and chocolatey with the Oreo aftertaste. My SO got the guava, but unfortunately didn't expect the spices included. I came back in expecting to pay for a new drink without the spices, but thankfully one of the employees said it was no problem and promptly remade the drink. My SO was a happy customer! This 5 star review goes out to the thoughtful individual who took my Clover order today! I had put in an order on Clover for a hot taro milk tea, a winter melon milk tea and Oreo egg waffles. Placed the order at 12:25pm. Picked up around 1pm. Usually I'd just walk in the store, state my name, grab my order and go. But today, the sweet young lady was so nice!! I've been here a few times before, but I've never had the chance to review it. When I go here, the drinks and boba are always excellent. I usually get a Thai milk tea with less sugar and ice than other Ding Teas in the area, and it's always tasted tremendous. The milk teas they offer are fantastic! They're not powdery or syrupy, and the sweetness level is adjustable. It always comes out exactly like the previous time, which is a big plus! I went into ding tea today and as an avid boba connoisseur I think that the drink I had was delicious! I ordered a Hokkaido oolong milk tea and was excited to see that they had in stock, as my first trip to this location they did not have any Hokkaido drinks.
