I'm happy I came across Local Canes, a unique juice shop, when I was around the Del Oro Shopping Plaza. It has fresh-pressed sugarcane juices in a diverse range of flavors, from tropical mango and coconut to tangy calamansi and passion fruit. They have niiice creative blends...you pick your favorite. I picked Ginger...my my my sooo refressshing. The service was friendly-n-fast! I looove the colorful murals inside making it inviting with some playful vibes. My boyfriend and I drove an hour up here from down south because I was seriously craving sugarcane--and this place did not disappoint! It's hard to find fresh sugarcane drinks around us, so I was super excited when I came across Local Canes. The whole place is dedicated to sugarcane, and I loved that! They have so many creative combos like strawberry mango sugarcane, and you can even customize your own drink with tons of different flavors. Everything tasted super fresh and naturally sweet. The ambiance was clean, cute, and chill--perfect for grabbing a refreshing drink and hanging out for a bit. The staff was also really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I was also so happy to see they sell 32oz and larger jars to take home. I thought I'd be making the long drive just for a quick sugarcane fix, but being able to leave with a big jar made the trip totally worth it! I was very pleased to hear that Oceanside finally got its very own sugarcane juice shop! So I went to check out Local Canes fresh-pressed juices! Local Canes is located in a very convenient spot in a high-traffic area, but it's also tucked away in a sort of nook. If driving East on Oceanside Blvd, you'll make a Left to head north into the Del Oro Shopping Plaza that has the Albertsons. They just recently re-opened from renovations and it looks like they created a very beautiful "local" art mural on their walls, which depicts the Oceanside Pier and other fun anime characters. It's very colorful and playful! Definitely suits the vibes of the shop. Their interior is extremely simplified and only has a row of chairs to sit down & relax, while waiting for your fresh-pressed cane juice to be made. The service is fast & friendly. Prices are fair for being a small business in the area. I absolutely LOVE their selection of flavors to choose from! The range is diverse and some of my favorites are the mango, coconut and calamansi. They even have boba and jelly you can add! Don't be afraid to ask for a blend as well. Good juice but very expensive, and very quick to up charge. The location is large but there is no seating, so there is a large shop but only a few seats around the walls of the room. Would be nice to put a few bistro tables around. I do feel like the price point is high for being in a not desirable location at the intersection of college and oceanside blvd, but they are priced for prime location close to the beach. If I need to keep my keys in my hand and rush to my car I feel like 7+ dollars for a drink is pretty high price tag and an upcharge to get light ice. I do like their sugarcane juice and the kumquat is pretty good. The reason I gave 4 stars because I barely tasted any ginger taste in it, I know they did put ginger cuz it contains ginger pulp in the drink, but no ginger taste tho. I wish they had much stronger ginger taste like VitaCane uses in their drinks. But I will come back to try other flavors. read more

But my friend told me about Thai place and their different flavors. I asked the worker for recommendation as I didn't want a too sweet drink. He suggested the kalamansi or the Pasion fruit. I decided to do the kalamansi because of the fruit is sour so it means the sugar cane will have some tart in it. I don't regret it! It was not too sweet and there was a good tart finish to it. The best Açaí Bowl that I've ever had in Oceanside It is very healthy and delicious They have various ice cream bases which are super good and not too sweet. There are also a lot of toppings and fruits that you can choose to build your bowl. Browsing IG, I saw a sponsored ad for Local Canes with a picture of 4-5 beautiful ass cups of sugar cane juice. I thought, where the hell is this place? I clicked on the profile page and saw they were in Oceanside. Since when? I walked in there and there was one worker, working on an order. He apologized for the wait and took our drink order. I asked how long they'd been open and he said that they had been open for 9 months. 9 MONTHS?! I told him that I had no idea they were even there. They're still trying to get the word out. The menu is bright, vibrant, and easy to read. With pictures of the fruit options too. They also have a few options for your toppings like, boba, aloe, coconut, etc. We ordered: -Pineapple cane -Lychee Lemon with aloe The drinks are really good. Not overly sweet with no added sugar or syrups which we super appreciated. The inside is nice and clean and open. They are on the same strip that Rita's Custard used to be, maybe the same store?
