I'm from Louisiana where sugar cane is a popular treat, so imagine my delight to find this in Oceanside. I got pure sugarcane juice and it was delicious and brought back memories! I'll be back to try their other concoctions too! Yes to Local Canes!!! They also have other menu items like açaí and Vietnamese coffee .

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was so stinking cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was only one worker but they explained everything to us perfectly. I was so shocked to see calamansi as an option so I had to get it tbh. It was my bf's first time trying calamansi and sugar cane and safe to say he's a fan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was so clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and both iced coffees were strong af but very good and not overtly sweet. Will definitely be back when we're in the area!

My boyfriend and I drove an hour up here from down south because I was seriously craving sugarcane--and this place did not disappoint! It's hard to find fresh sugarcane drinks around us, so I was super excited when I came across Local Canes. The whole place is dedicated to sugarcane, and I loved that! They have so many creative combos like strawberry mango sugarcane, and you can even customize your own drink with tons of different flavors. Everything tasted super fresh and naturally sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was clean, cute, and chill--perfect for grabbing a refreshing drink and hanging out for a bit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was also really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I was also so happy to see they sell 32oz and larger jars to take home. I thought I'd be making the long drive just for a quick sugarcane fix, but being able to leave with a big jar made the trip totally worth it! Loveeee this place! My family and I love sugarcane juice but it's so hard to find a store in San Diego County. Whenever I'm in the area I always make sure to stop by and grab some for everybody. My personal favorite is the calamansi cane, but I'm excited to try more flavors. Super refreshing and addicting. They juice the sugarcane right in front of you and they make it to order.

found this place while I was out eating lunch, and decided to stop by. [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute lil place! fun, colorful decor and there was a tv playing anime.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] staff was friendly and nice. drink came out in a reasonable amount of time. i got a strawberry sugar cane drink, and it was yummy and refreshing! definitely different than tea/boba. they also have acai bowls and other sweet treats, interested in coming again!

I was very pleased to hear that Oceanside finally got its very own sugarcane juice shop! So I went to check out Local Canes fresh-pressed juices! Local Canes is located in a very convenient spot in a high-traffic area, but it's also tucked away in a sort of nook. If driving East on Oceanside Blvd, you'll make a Left to head north into the Del Oro Shopping Plaza that has the Albertsons. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They just recently re-opened from renovations and it looks like they created a very beautiful "local" art mural on their walls, which depicts the Oceanside Pier and other fun anime characters. It's very colorful and playful! Definitely suits the vibes of the shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their interior is extremely simplified and only has a row of chairs to sit down & relax, while waiting for your fresh-pressed cane juice to be made.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is fast & friendly. Prices are fair for being a small business in the area. I absolutely LOVE their selection of flavors to choose from! The range is diverse and some of my favorites are the mango, coconut and calamansi. They even have boba and jelly you can add! Don't be afraid to ask for a blend as well. Another service I appreciate is that you can order juice by the gallon. This is great for parties or gatherings. Overall, I really appreciate Local Canes and their fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. It's amazing great option to have in the inland Oceanside area.

I visited Oceanside for a work trip and came over this place while heading back to airport. Local Canes is located in a very convenient spot in a high-traffic area. It's located in the Del Oro Shopping Plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a very spacious indoor and a very beautiful art mural on their walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went there on a Thursday evening around 5ish and it wasn't crowded at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is fast & friendly.Prices are reasonable when compared to similar stores I absolutely LOVE their selection of flavors to choose from! The range is diverse and some of my favorites are the mango, coconut and calamansi. They even have boba and jelly you can add! Don't be afraid to ask for a blend as well. Overall, I loved Local Canes and their fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fresh juice

It was my first time here and I was honestly pleasantly surprised. They don't add any sugar, just the natural sweetness from the sugar cane juice. Best part was that our sugar cane was juiced fresh to order. Drinks came out quick and service was friendly.

Acai bowl is amazing. One of the best. Service couldn't be better and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the store is very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You have to try it.

The regular sugarcane juice was super refreshing!!! My cousin got a mix of strawberry & lychee and it was ehhhhh. U can barely taste the strawberry like just a hint. I do like their sugarcane juice and the kumquat is pretty good. The reason I gave 4 stars because I barely tasted any ginger taste in it, I know they did put ginger cuz it contains ginger pulp in the drink, but no ginger taste tho. I wish they had much stronger ginger taste like VitaCane uses in their drinks. But I will come back to try other flavors.

Finally tried this place after months of wanting to. This was the perfect place for us since we were looking for boba, but not wanting any caffeine. The employee working was super friendly, helpful, and kind. The juice was delicious and had fruit bits in it already (no extra charge) and then we added aloe jelly to one drink and the lychee boba to the other drink - soo good. My dragon fruit cane was super sweet, and my sister's passion fruit cane was super tart and sweet. We will be returning to try all of the flavors! My only wish is for seating so that you can relax while waiting for your drink! read more

I finally decided to check this place out after a little grocery trip and I'm so glad I did. The drinks are super refreshing and not too sweet which I love. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from but we got a Pineapple one and a Passionfruit/Dragonfruit drink, both with crystal boba, both delicious. So so so glad this spot is open in the north county area. Their drinks are delioussss and refreshing. I usually get the coco cane and it never fails to disappoint. The staff members are so welcoming and friendly. My family and I have tried the coco cane, OG cane, dragon cane, mango/strawberry cane & passion lychee. All were refreshing and on point. Come in with the intent to try out this new juicery and opted for a Walter Malone and Mango Cane to go. I appreciate how the kind gentleman heat sealed the 24oz drinks thus no worries in spillage. 5 stars for that! The juice is fresh and made to order maing this a must if you prefer fresh over premade bottles. I can definitely see this as a delicious summer hit amongst the summer crowds in search for a drink to cool them down. I didn't catch the hours but obviously did not the prices which are as follows: All drink w/ice are 24oz for $6.50. If you want "lite ice" you'll pay $1.00 extra and if you want "no ice" then it's $2.00 extra. I say that fair given lite to no ice would mean product used to make the drinks. I left my orders alone ans even then there was no need to reduce the ice. Clean facility, humble attendant, and delicious juice. I'll be back for sure. read more

First had their drinks at FoodieLand and fell in love with their drinks! I had no idea they had an actual store until I was randomly in the area looking for drinks. I always assumed I would have to make a trip up to OC for some good sugarcane. Had the Lychee Cane and it was just as delicious as I remembered it. If you're looking for something super refreshing and delicious, definitely can't go wrong here! P.S. Would love to see more locations down South! read more

There isn't much variety in terms of drink spots in Oceanside/Carlsbad which is why I am so glad that we have a sugarcane spot. Everything is made FRESH in house! The sugarcane is juiced right in front of you. All the different flavors offered use real fruits or fruit purée made the morning of. No artificial syrups like you find at other Boba spots in the area. I met the owner, John, who was extremely patient and kind. He suggested the Mango and Strawberry Cane, which was refreshing and tasty. You could really taste the fresh mango purée and pieces of strawberry. Overall, John gave great customer service and it is very apparent that he cares about the quality of the product he is offering to the community. Highly recommend supporting this small business that offers a speciality that is rarely found in this area!!! read more

So glad that this spot is open. These drinks are so refreshing, love the flavors. I also love that there are many different varieties. So far I have tried the mango strawberry, strawberry lemon, pineapple mango, dragon, lemon, and the original. Can't wait to try the other different varieties given. The staff members are so welcoming and also have met John and he was very welcoming and nice. The first time I met him was during my lunch. Didn't know which one to get and asked him what was the most popular that people would get and decided to go with the mango strawberry. That was so good. Great choice! read more

I've only been here a couple of times. Each time is very nice. The drinks are big, refreshing, and VERY sweet! The employees are very nice and welcoming! They share about the different drinks and how they are made. I want to try the lemon one next time to see if it cuts some of the sweetness! Like most drinks I get, I like to dilute them with water. This place deserves so much more attention then what it gets. They are way nice and so yummy and good for you, I just can't afford it so much right now or I would be there every single day. I don't do stickers on my vehicles but I have a Local Came sticker on the side of my Jeep right under the Jeep Logo. That is saying a lot!! Service is always amazing and ambiance very inviting. I enjoyed this place, I got the mango strawberry and it was delicious, it's nice and lightly sweet with the chunks of fruit. Hit the spot! It's crazy how little ingredients are in it, I enjoyed watching the cane get crushed in front of you and be squeezed into your drink. Will definitely return and get another drink. read more

I just happened by this place while trying to pass the time before a dinner reservation and OMG, this place is AMAZING! It's in an unassuming location, simple and chill decor, but holy cow, the drinks are incredibly refreshing and delicious. Love this place! Definitely will be swinging by here whenever I venture in Oceanside. read more

I'm in love with this place! I would usually go all the way to Westminster to get some fresh sugarcane and coconut juice, but I'm so happy that I've found this place close by to me! They recently came out with matcha flavors, & I'm LOVING the OG cane w/ matcha!! I think this will be my new go-to. They have so many flavor options, & I've tried a few already, & I'm sure there's a flavor for you! Definitely try this place out. I was not a fan of the OG cane juice but then again I'm from Brazil and I'm used to having fresh canes to chew and drink the juice of. My husband had the dragon fruit sugar cane juice and he loved it!!!! So I would definitely try it and see what you think. The service was nice and answered our questions and we got our drinks in less then two minutes. read more

This stuff hits. Wanted to switch it up and get something refreshing because it's super hot. Ordered the passion fruit + dragon fruit mixer with crystal boba and it was super refreshing. Also, makes me feel less guilty about the sugar thing since this is a supposed healthy alternative. The dude running the shop was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The inside is a bit barren aside from the decorative wall art, but such is the modern theme. ‍ Likely just a place you're supposed to grab your drink and leave. read more
