Came here during my lunch break since it was the only boba shop in the area. Parking was mainly street but you can also park in the rear but it's tight. Inside the shop, it was nice and spacious with plenty of seats and a nice mural. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba and it was good. The cashier who helped me was nice! read more

Everytime I come, the boba has no flavor and the drink is watered down even though I asked for 100% sweetness! Sadly it's close to my house but I think I would rather drive far than come to this boba place. The service is good, and the inside is nice though! I would love to come again, but if I was invited! I was craving milk tea, but I never tried this location so I knew I had to. The staff were really sweet, we had a conversation about Sonny Angels and the toy store nearby! I got a Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea, and it tasted amazing. Drinks came out super fast too! It was kind of empty at this location, most people just grab their drink and go. There were plenty of tables and chairs. The place was super clean too! Would definitely return!! read more

Im not too big on boba in my drinks, but would say the Monster Latte was pretty good. Made a slight adjustment to have 75% sweetness and it was just right. The place is pretty small, but quite cozy. read more

Store employees oblivious to what a food allergy is and if they are able to accommodate an allergy. It's understandable if they are not able to safely accommodate but when I politely inquired, the look was blank stares from the employees. It was very uncomfortable- Please train your employees better. I inquired further asking if the blenders are used to mix nuts with fruit slushies and was able to deduce on my own, that there is a high risk of cross contamination for allergies. This is aa safety issue for some customers that may not suspect cross with plain fruit slushies. A warning card of potential for cross allergies would be a good safety protocol considering your employees are confused. read more

Although I'm going to get fat by coming here, I'm so happy to have a legit boba spot by the house. It's in walking distance, which would be great if I actually walked here to burn some calories, but I still always drive. I'm a creature of habit, so I get the Jasmine green milk tea with honey boba. I usually get the taro blended with boba and split it in two for my mom and daughter. The staff here is super friendly and accommodating, and I'm ecstatic to have them in my neighborhood. read more

Okay Friends, I am torn because my daughter loves this place. She and her friends are here at least 2 times a week. I thought I would give them a try. To be fair. My daughter gets the Fruit juice or the slush drinks without added jelly. But today I tried three Milk tea flavors and 2 were really bad. I mean, like really. We threw them away. After 2 or 3 sips. Done. So the good news, the place is super cute and the staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. I ordered a Apple milk tea with apple jelly-1/10. GUYS THIS WAS BAD. I even asked the server to remake it because the flavor was off. They were very quick to help and gave me the tea quickly...but that did not help. It had a chemical flavor which was probably the jelly. I have tasted that before from other places. Just pass on this all together MANGO Milk tea with Mango jelly-1/10 OMG...NOOOOOO. THE CHEMICAL FLAVOR WAS VERY PREVALENT. We shook it and mixed it and even added our own cream at home. Nothing was taking that flavor away. Sorry guys...but please pass on this flavor Strawberry Milk tea-7/10 This was very good. Sweet and creamy. Fresh strawberry flavor. I would get it again. While I was there people were ordering alot of the juice drinks. Maybe I will try that next time. I will go back because the menu is large and the Strawberry Milk tea was very good. Long Beach is slowly catching up on the tea & boba scene, and what better way to start than with a trusty Ding Tea? The store was empty when I walked in, but staff was friendly and greeted me right away. I made my order pretty quickly, but it took a while for them to finish making my drink because they would just stop and chit chat amongst themselves. At one point, one of the employees was sitting on the pick up counter.. Can't be sanitary..? The drink was pretty standard Ding Tea, which still hit the spot! STEPH JUDGEMENT: Cool spot for delicious Taiwanese tea drinks. I'm not a huge Asian tea connoisseur, so I had no idea what a big chain this was. I stopped in after they first opened and got the brown milk tea with cream cheese foam--wow, so good. Service was friendly but a bit slow, and they could've used more seating, but all in good time, I'm sure. I like how this place, with Somi Somi and Ramen Hub next door is sort of the Asian trifecta corner--nice to see Bixby Knolls getting some quality Asian offerings! read more

The drinks here are amazing, and the service is impressively quick! They also have convenient parking in the back, making it easy to access. A fun surprise was finding Dippin' Dots, which was perfect since we were craving them. With plenty of seating, it's a great spot to relax with friends or even get some studying done. Finally a really good boba place closer to my house in Bixby Knolls! You can't order anything wrong at Ding Tea, they have such a variety of drink options. Staff are friendly and service is pretty quick during the weekdays.. weekends are a different story. Finding parking can be bothersome to those not from this area. It's your standard boba place. Pretty affordable and fast! It seems like there's usually enough people working to handle multiple orders at once so I've never had to wait long at all. This is personal preference but I'm not a fan of floral teas so I'm not a huge fan of their iced teas. But if you like that, then you'll like their drinks! I usually only get the taro milk tea with egg pudding and boba. The ingredients are pretty standards- I've definitely had fresher elsewhere. Still, it's close and decently priced. Can't go wrong with Ding Tea! This location is very clean. One thing I'd have to say is that they got my friend's order wrong. She ordered a black tea with boba, but was given a black MILK tea. Simple mistake, but they made a new drink immediately and let us keep the other. So can't complain much about that! read more

They're still in their soft opening phase. Place is bright and new and shiny. Very clean. They have a super cute boba girl wall mural. My friend got a hazelnut milk tea with crystal boba . But not before asking about the sugar content which the cashier looked up. Man that customer service is too notch and friendly. I got a jasmine green milk tea. My usual. They apologized for running out of regular boba. Not a problem for me since I like my tea plain but that's a tsk-tsk for a boba joint. Gotta make more. Really nice having a new boba spot in the area! My faves are taro milk tea, Hokkaido milk tea and chocolate milk tea! Their prices are reasonable and the monster boba which has a lot of ingredients is like $6.80 for a large! The regulars are around 4 dollars and to add jelly/boba it's 75 cents. To make it a large (not monster boba) it's like $5.50-6.00 depending how much you wanna add to your drink! The drinks are so good! read more

They have a couple of entrances: one by the parking lot, and the other facing the intersection. I took the long way around to see the other businesses in this small plaza, and I entered through the latter entrance, where the front counter and menu were directly in front of me. A couple of customers were already inside waiting for their mozzarella sticks while another customer was at the register placing her order. That gave me ample time to decide what smoothie to get. They have two sections of smoothies on the menu, and the Super Blend section was more expensive, and likely healthier, than the Whirl'd Famous section, so I wanted something from the Super Blend section. Since I wasn't planning to eat much vegetables for dinner that evening, I wanted something with greens. There were only two smoothies on their menu with the word "greens" in the name: Apples n Greens and Greens n Ginger. I had Apples n Greens at the Cerritos location, but didn't think it was anything special, but the Greens n Ginger sounded interesting enough that I asked the first employee at the register about it. That first employee seemed to have an indifferent, and borderline condescending, attitude towards me and didn't seem as knowledgeable about the menu because she recited the ingredients of the Greens n Ginger in a rather dubious manner. I still went with it since it sounded like a winner to me. It didn't take too long for the Greens n Ginger to be ready, but that's because the customer before me had also ordered that smoothie too, which I didn't know until the second employee making the drinks said it was for the other customer. The second employee only said the drink name, which made me think that was mine even though I had a feeling it wasn't because that would have been quite a large size for a small! This is a commonality at any Jamba you go to, and I wish their corporate office would have the mindset to think of such a scenario happening at any of their locations. I made a verbal comment about the odds of such an occurrence happening, but neither employee really responded. The first employee seemed to be annoyed when I asked her a question, and she didn't really show much courtesy or even appreciation for my business. The second employee was done making my drink, and when she placed it on the pickup counter, she said they decided to make a Large for me instead. Wow! Suddenly, the vibes turned a 180 as I got a much larger drink than I deserved! I suppose they must have felt bad about pulling my leg on the other customer's drink that they thought upgrading my free drink for free would make amends? I took a sip of the smoothie, and wow, it was much more flavorful than the Apples n Greens from the Cerritos location! I didn't like, however, that it was too thick, but it was only a minor nuisance at best since I was spending a great deal of time in the shop drafting this review on my phone lol. The first employee spent some time cleaning the floors and was much more polite when she asked me to move so she could sweep the area around me. However, she and her co-worker had way too much fun with the music, which was kind of disruptive to me, but not too much. They have three tables, each of which could seat three, but the chairs don't have back rests on them. They are arranged so that customers would be facing Atlantic Ave. I probably would have given 3 stars, but I'll give a 4th since they decided to upgrade my smoothie from a Small to a Large. Also, my reward still remained on my account somehow lol.

My biggest concern, however, is the impact the business has had on our neighborhood. Since Zuzu's Petals opened, we've noticed a significant increase in litter, much of it appearing to be food and drink packaging from the restaurant. Weekend traffic on the sidewalks has become overwhelming, customers often park in alleyways or in unsafe locations, and it has made our neighborhood much more difficult to navigate. We brought these concerns to an employee, but were told there wasn't much they could do. If this business truly wants to be part of the community, I hope they take more responsibility for the impact they're having on the surrounding neighborhood. Encouraging customers to park responsibly, helping keep the area clean, and offering more reasonably priced menu options would go a long way toward building goodwill with the people who actually live here. I always want local businesses to succeed, but right now I can't recommend Zuzu's Petals based on both my experience and the ongoing issues it's created for nearby residents. Also beach cleaning isn't cleaning our neighborhood. That's no support to our neighborhood. Maybe have a neighborhood clean up day instead.

Looking at my time stamps, I only waited about 10 minutes and he thanked me for my patience. My drink was everything I remembered it to be - DO NOT SLEEP ON CHEESE FOAM!!! They recommend shaking your drink 17 times, but I say rebel! Enjoy each layer. That cheese foam floating on top deserves its own sweet, creamy attention. Ambiance??? Hmmm....Not much, honestly. Sunright used to be a cute Insta kinda vibe, but now it seems a bit tired and in need of a refresher. Since the kiosk order boards, customers pretty much enter, head to kiosks, enter orders, pay, then take a seat on the long bench lining the wall across from the prep/kitchen area, silently scrolling screens while waiting. Drink is made, ticket gets stuck on cup and name called. Done. It may be another few years before I return, considering how much I've cut sugar out of my daily routine, but when I do, I hope that consistently chewy, perfectly fresh boba at the bottom and the sweet, creamy cheese foam on top are still there to welcome me back to Oreo Brûlée Boba Milk tea euphoria.
