The Salud team is so welcoming and friendly, I can't help but smile. The Cherry Ave location is so quaint with fresh flowers for sale and greenery cascading the walls. And it smells like roses in the entryway. Juices- I am a big fan of the Pear and Beet bottles. Had this place on my list for a few weeks now and finally stopped by since it was the perfect day to get a fresh pressed juice. Upon arrival, the woman at the counter was helping a gentleman who had several questions and she was patient and kind yet still greeting customers as they walked in. Once it was my turn to order, I kindly asked what was a hydrating juice that she would recommend and she said the cool cucumber since it was white and refreshing and let me tell you this drink did not disappoint. I also ordered a ginger shot since I've been feeling a little under the weather. For my two items it was $20, which is a little pricey however, you get what you pay for and I truly thought it was worth it considering the place itself was super cute, Customer Service is great and their bathroom was really clean, which I can always appreciate. I think this might be a case of I'm just trying the wrong juices, but I have to admit I've been really disappointed multiple times by their green juices. I normally love green juices, but I can't find one here that I like. But the employees are always really nice, and I love the interior here. I have only ever ordered to go, and I've seen a person or two sitting on a couch by the door, but I haven't noticed if they had more seating in the back. It's a small store so even if there is, there isn't much seating. (Update, I saw pics from other reviews and it looks like they have much more seating than I would have thought!) Parking can be tough, but I just park across the street in the liquor store lot. I want to keep supporting this store because I love all the restaurants on 4th street, and Salud has a great vibe here, and I always love supporting local, I'm just not trying the right juices (and anyone who says of course the celery juice wasn't good, I know, I've just tried all the other green juices so I'm trying to tick every one off my list!) Came in for the first time today to pick up a snack while shopping and was super disappointed with want I was given. I paid $7 for a paper thin peace of banana bread. The worst part is they get their pastries from a local bakery in Long Beach so I know the size of the original slice. Appears that they cut the slices in half and still sell them for $7! I had such a hard time ordering here because everything looked so good! I ended up getting a custom açai bowl based off the Rainbow Harbour. I subbed Ginger in place of cashews and got a few different toppings. I will say that it was made with probably 3x the amount of ginger it should have had so I was on FIRE but it was still yummy and I definitely felt like it cleansed my whole body of toxins lol. I loved their housemate granola so much! We also tried the baked vegan chocolate donut in the pastry case and it was delicious. This place is super cute. I love how it's filled with plants and little decors to Harry Potter. Everywhere you sit is a great photo wall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They keep window and doors open so beautiful for a sunny day but it does get chilly at night. I like how they open late till 8 pm. They have free wifi, couple of outlets, street parking or pay parking in the lot across the street. They are dog friendly. It's also baby friendly as the bathroom has a changing table. The music I love it especially with the 70s music but it is a little loud. This place is near all the vintage shop so stop here when you need a break or morning for breakfast or after a workout. If you check in on Yelp, you get 1 free shot of wellness shot. There are many cleansing juice and juice for specific things like immunity, digestive, etc. They also got salads, smoothies, coffee, and pastries. I got the Villa Riviera açaí bowl. It has Acai, strawberry, mango, banana, peanut butter; topped with housemade granola, banana, strawberry, peanut butter, honey and hemp seeds. It's so pretty and so filling. I would say it needs to be sweeter maybe in the açaí potion and more honey on the top. I do like they can make it vegan with coconut milk, apple juice, orange juice, or oat milk. Also, this is a more expensive açaí bowl. The staff was super friendly. The girls are always making conversation with the customers as some locals are always coming in. They are getting customers involved in their Instagram stories holding their product or doggos. I highly recommend this place! read more

I particularly like the 4th and Cherry smoothie with apple juice instead of coconut milk. The addition of Breakfast Dreams on Thursday through Saturday is a huge come up. Everything they make is insanely delicious. My favorite is the breakfast burger. Sometimes I go big and add a hash brown; big breakfast if you're hungry. Parking right accords the street if you need. Loved coming here during my one week stay in LB. I am not generally a fan of prebottled juices, since my assumption is, they are not that fresh; not the case for Salud.
