The vegan Philly Cheesesteak pizza is the best pizza I have EVER had - hands down! The crust is amazing with a crunch added to a chewy section of delectable toppings and vegan cheese. Any pizza slice is gonna be at least good because of the crust alone. I also had the vegan man n cheese which has a potential for sure but tasted a little closer on the bland side to me. Ask for a side of their delicious (vegan) ranch and your mind will explode! I've never even liked ranch (pre-vegan not post) but this one has something that will make anyone go nuts! The prices were easy to understand. $3.50 for cheese/pepperoni or $4.50 for specialty. It sounds kind of high, but really, it's not. The pepperoni pizza actually looks different than traditional pepperoni smaller and thicker essentially. And has a completely unique taste. I have only been to the 6 Corners location on Damen Ave and I have only tried their VEGAN options. I'm on a lifestyle change right now....so I haven't tried their yummy sounding meat and cheese filled offerings, yet. The Argyle is flavorful, but it doesn't have the mock-gooiness that I like on my pizzas. But for being vegan and all it is good, it just doesn't seem like I'm eating a pizza pizza. The Vegan Philly DOES have the gooey cheese factor, which I thoroughly appreciate. The Seiten is not homemade, it's Upton's brand, so it could definitely be better. But this is a great substitute for pizza! They are offering a set an alternative called "garden delight" which is seasoned and shredded mushrooms, but then the whole pizza is too mushy in texture. Pass on that. All in all, I appreciate their vegan offerings, and they have single slice options even of their vegan pizzas so you can always try a slice before commiting. The large pizza is large in size and price...but I like it big! Also, get the punch card although it says they only punch it for salads and such, everytime I have ordered a pizza they have punched it. Finally, grab a bottled soda, the Mexican coke and Limeade(very sugary) are delicious. Plus, you need that carbonation when eating pizza. Pretty decent experience. Stopped in with some friends on a Tuesday night. We were greeted at the counter, and my order was placed right away. Lots of different pizza slices or whole pies to choose from. I tried the mac n cheese pizza. It was alright but the noodles looked like they're just sprinkled with cheese so a little bland tasting. Okay, so the context of which I had pizza from Dimo's is a little...unorthodox. My friends and I were waiting in line to see Carly Rae Jepsen at the Chop Shop. We were in an alley, surrounded by other Carly Rae fans, underneath the Blue Line tracks, fortunately upwind of nearby dumpsters. And we were STARVING. We saw a few other people in line nomming on some pizza so we had a choice between Piece and Dimo's. Since it was before 5 PM, we decided to go with Dimo's and I AM SO GLAD I DID. We ordered two medium pizzas and picked them up within 30 minutes. (One Pep 'Shroom and one Margherita.) The guy at the front was a bit flustered, since I'd arrived 10 minutes before the official pick-up time (I thought the distance between Chop Shop and Dimo's was much further away, whooops). He kept reassuring me that the pizza was almost ready, which was unnecessary but very nice. Then when the pizzas came out of the oven, he slid the piping hot pies into two pizza boxes - and totally forgot to cut them. But that was fine, because I hopped into the nearest Starbucks and got a plastic knife to cut into the bad boy. OHMYGOD the pizzas were AMAZING. Thin, chewy, chock full of toppings, cheese perfectly melted. There were a total of 7 or 8 of us and we devoured both pies within minutes. It was our first time so the lovely lady running the counter took a minute to give us a run down on their offerings of the day. We decided on the Mac-n-Cheese slice for myself, the Cubano slice for boyfriend, and a Margarita slice to share. We wanted to enjoy them at home so we had them warmed up but boxed to go. Location - it is located in a very hip part of town, lots of small shops and around the corner you find a street with back to back bars and restaurants. essentially its located in hipster central, and do well in fitting in. Interior- the interior is very colorful. lots of bright colors and an attempt at making the vibe a very "warehouse" type. there are multiple booths and tables. some tables you are able to write on and place stickers. Service - although I showed up on a Tuesday night, and there was absolutely no line. the staff wasn't immediately attentive. youll have to force them to give you details about each pizza as they are not labeled, which you should, as some look very interesting. Food - personally im not a huge fan of pizza they put out and when you order they reheat, you just simply don't know how long its been sitting out for. in this case its the exception, the slices were large and full of flavor crust was thin and crispy, I should of tried all the slice they had sitting out as they each offered interesting toppings, but I stuck with the buffalo chicken pizza and thanksgiving dinner. id definitely come back again, and hope to see what other interesting toppings they come up with. read more

Alright, at face value, my experience at Dimos was awful. First of all, they had a special menu posted, so I prepared to order off that. The guy taking orders was super rude and said 'oh, we probably don't have anything on that menu, so just look at the pizzas in front of you.' And none of those available pizzas have signs, so I point at one that visibly had blue cheese on it, and he said 'that's chicken and waffles'. All in all, in addition to chicken and waffles (which I recommend if you like syrup on pizza) my husband had bbq chicken and I went back and got more slices, this time buffalo chicken I can't believe how awesome this place is. I've had Ian's in Madison a handful of times, and that's where I became familiar with some of the more off-the-wall pizza ingredients. Ok, Dimo's has some ridiculous toppings. They're pretty much drop-the-mic worthy. I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom penne alfredo pizza as well as the spinach alfredo slice. The steak taco pizza was delicous with actual tortilla chips on top. I'd like to devote a paragraph to one of their specials. It was a crab rangoon pizza. Basically there was crab rangoon and green onions for toppings, while the pizza had an incredible sweet and sour sauce flavor. It tasted exactly like crab rangoon, and was excellent. The night I had this, I also had a slice of steak taco. So in one night, I had Mexican and Thai cuisine while eating an Italian specialty. I hope they make the crab rangoon a normal option! It can be quite overwhelming when ordering as there are just so many options. I tend to freak out on occasion when making my pizza choice. Just come in like a wrecking ball and be ready to order.
