I've always enjoyed my visits to this place. Luckily on this trip to Chi, my friend wanted to stop by and get a drink while picking up a few bottles. The left side contains a bar area along with areas for seating. They also have limited snack options which is a very nice option to have. The right side contains their stock of wines available for sale by the bottle. TWe started off on the bar side and ordered a couple of glasses of wine along with half a dozen oysters. The oysters were soo good. And bonus- only a $1 each! After we finished hanging out and chatting, my friend stopped by the shop so she could pick up her wine club shipment. The service is always great here and today was no exception. The people there are very laid back and friendly. Definitely worth a stop and visit for anyone looking for a chill spot to hangout with good friends or pick up a few bottles of vino!

Sat outside over the weekend and it was the perfect spot to soak up some sun and drink wine. Great wine selection and the food was excellent. The tables are long and skinny with barstools. Not much shade out front, but great people watching.

I mcfreaking love Red & White. I love it so much, I come by myself sometimes for the sole pleasure of receiving always very insightful recommendations ("this wine has a mushroomy, nuanced flavor") from their friendly/knowledgeable staff when literally all I know about wine is "This is a white." Regardless, I absolutely love their wine selection and am delighted every single time with their complex, interesting rotations. When with a group of people, I love getting the full plate of all charcuterie and all cheeses - it's more than enough to share among 4-5. Plus, the fresh, buttery toasted bread just keeps coming . Definitely try the duck prosciutto if you have not already. Also, free WiFi!!!!

VEGAN OPTIONS - I'm not sure. You'd have to ask. *Fantastic* selection of natural and low intervention wines at reasonable prices. I came in looking for a specific wine, which they had, so I didn't really need to interact with the staff very much. I look forward to stopping by again in the near future, and trying out a few more bottles of natty wine.

Hildy and I ventured out to find a new place to eat. While driving along Milwaukee Ave. she noticed the candle lit tables in the angled glass fronted restaurant and said 'that's the one.' We entered thru the wine shop which sprouted this restaurant a month ago as a delicious addition. The dining room has a modern loft like feel with tightly packed tables and a spacious bar. We were greeted and made to feel very comfortable. The servers knew their menus and were on point. We ordered the cheese and charcuterie plates and the tomato soup with red peppers was great. The wine pairings suggested by Bradley was very daring and a perfect fit. Sharing the hanger steak special with bernaise sauce a recommendation from Catieo . Again a very shareable and solid choice. We drank our desert with two glasses of Johnny Drum Private stockWhiskey My wife sure can pick em.

If you are going to close consider updating your website. Since you wasted a $20.00 taxi trip of my money, feel feee to donate $20.00 to a disabled veteran fund.

Natural wine. Vin naturel. Vino naturale. Biodynamic. Organic. Small producer. Raw. Whatever you wanna call it, in whatever language you speak it, Red and White Wines has the only kind of grape juice I want to drink and a great selection for the niche product natural wine/raw wine is relative to the traditional wine market. The person that helped me pick 4 bottles on my last visit not only had impeccable taste, he more importantly *listened* and made recommendations based on what I wanted to buy (gifts). Talk about excellent service! I LOVE natural wine and I love this little wine shop! I'll most certainly be back and bringing friends.

The inside of this store has lots of exposed brick and wood that creates a rustic atmosphere. If you are able to, you should try coming on a Thursday evening or Saturday afternoon to experience one of their free wine tastings. It is so ideal to be able to try a sample of a wine that you are interested in before buying a whole bottle. I think that almost everyone has ran into the situation where they thought that they would like a particular wine, but then find out that they hate it. All of this after spending hard earned money for that bottle of wine. There is a wonderful variety of wines in this store, and a majority of the wines tend to be $15+ for a bottle. There are a few random bottles of spirits available, but this place is more of a go to for your wine needs.

If you love wine, visit this place! Me and my partner stopped by around 12 in the afternoon, there wasn't any traffic and we were the only people in there because it was a slow day. But that definitely made the experience very special for us. You pick your wine(s) and you can sit in the cafe to drink it and enjoy some nice food pairings to go with! We had the charcuterie board, which had a little spice and was delish. I enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend a visit!

Good spot for European reds with an eclectic small plate menu as a nice accompaniment. Prices were reasonable as well.

Of course I got distracted and browsed the store. There was souvenirs in this store as well, which I was not expecting. I wound up picking up winter gloves because I forgot mine at home. I then discovered a clearance cart that had a variety of boozes in there. I was super excited to find Malort! I found a unique cocktail recipe years ago that had Malort in it but was never able to find it in FL. Little did I know, it is very well known in Chicago! Obviously I purchased a little 6 pack. I browsed the aisles somewhat but did not find anything that caught my eye. I also did not want to purchase a bunch of bottles to walk with a couple of blocks. As I was waiting for the person in front of me to finish, the employee asked the customer to please step ahead so I could put my items down. He was already done and taking his time doing something else so I felt that was thoughtful of him to do for me. They were very polite and quick. The process seemed reasonable for the most part but the souvenirs were overpriced. The store was clean and tidy as well.

It was by happenstance, through an email from Whiskey Magazine about their favorite spots in Chicago, that I found out about Warehouse Liquors. For the uninitiated, the Warehouse Liquors web site is the best place to start, as it features a comprehensive schedule of in-store tastings. Weekly tastings are from 5pm-7pm Thursdays (whiskey and beer) and 5pm-7pm Fridays (wine). The storefront is deceptively small, as it features a vast selection of spirits and wines, including a cooler at the back of the store and a curated assortment of food (snacks). I came here for a wine tasting on Friday in early spring (better late than never with this review) and now feel remiss that I have not been back here more often. It was a perfect date night activity and kickoff to the weekend. Now that cooler temperatures are here, I look forward to returning to sample some of the whiskeys and scotches and making some considered purchases. The personalization and the fact that this is a locally owned business sets Warehouse Liquors apart from the rest.
