I just love this place. The location is fabulous! This is a great place to brunch or to bring the kiddos for dinner. I've tried many things on the menu and enjoyed each one but my absolute favorite hands down is (drum roll please)..... CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. Oh my goodness, I could go on and on about how delicious they! They bring out the yummiest waffles, the butter is super soft and creamy, and they also bring you a honey siracha sauce to pour on your chicken. YUM YUM YUM. I crave these babies fairly often! I also had the joy of trying one of their cocktails called the Bees Knees. I had to get it because its one of my catch phrases and it was soooo tasty! She got the fritatta of the day which was yummy but my eggs were overcooked, the biscuit wasn't exactly fresh and the bacon was so-so. Me and my co-workers went to Dilly Diner one night after work and the moment I stepped in I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and it was amazing, some of the best chick fried steak I've ever had. The batter or gravy was unique and it gave the CFS a sweet taste which I really liked. Then the waitress made me a special spiked milkshake and it was really good as well! Food was ok. The sausage patties are very thin, which also made them somewhat tough. They also had a flavor reminiscent of beef jerky. So all in all not bad, but different than I would have expected. I also got the gravy and biscuit side, I felt the gravy was somewhat bland. I prefer sausage gravy though, so maybe that's why it wasn't my favorite. The eggs we're over easy and perfectly cooked. This place has great food! Sunday morning brunch and there was a wait but not a big deal. Had the time to watch the baker make some great pies and have a cup of free coffee. My daughter was visiting from out of town and I wanted to share a nice breakfast with her. I've ordered food from here before and it was good so i figured it be a good choice for a sit down. We get seated .... no place settings on the table or placed once seated. Although the server was sweet the service was garbage. Took at least 10 minutes for her to come introduce herself and to take our drink order. Another 10-15 mins before our order was taken and slow on the refills. Finally our meals come and here we sit still without place settings. So we were able to admire our food for about 10 mins as our food sat getting cold before we could get anyone back to our table for silverware to eat our food. I had to physically get up from my seat to find out server to ask for silverware and a few other items we needed to enjoy our meal. The manager came over and was completely oblivious as to what needs to be on the table for someone to eat. Of course due to covid they can't reheat your food. So we ate cold French toast and cold chicken fried steak... their idea of a remedy was free Togo coffee and a bowl of hot gravy . We were super disappointed with the shit service and lack of customer service. Being that it was snowing we didn't want to just walk out and try to find somewhere else to eat. I'll never eat here again nor recommend this establishment to anyone . read more

Disappointed!! After a previous dinner with good service we went back for a late lunch when restaurant week started. Somebody told the host to only offer the Restaurant Week menu if someone asked. This was disappointing. If you don't want to be part of it, don't. We sat for a while before someone finally offered us drinks. Still no server in site. The restaurant was dead. Our food was cold and subpar. Our server was inattentive and more interested in eating at the counter. We finally had to ask a host for our bill. She brought and we didn't see our server again. The decor is great and the menu fun but since the service and food is subpar we won't be back. There are too many other places in Tulsa that are local and want your business. read more

We hit an off shift at the Dilly Diner. My niece lives here so she knows the usual quality of the Dilly, and we were treated to excellent service recovery, led by Jessica. The food was ok, though the breakfast potatoes were not very good. Too crunchy and needed more flavor on the potato. They were cooked with peppers and onions, but needed salt and garlic to really develop flavor. One entree was incorrect, after a very long wait. It took a while to get just regular coffee. Anyway, there were some issues, but the other tables' food looked great, so we just got an unlucky roll of the diner dice. They threw in some comped desserts and are mailing a gift certificate as well, so I think they handled an off day with grace and professionalism. read more

This is easily my favorite restaurant in Tulsa. We have always had great servers while at Dilly Diner and have never experienced a long wait whatsoever. The restaurant has a great ambiance and is very welcoming. First off, it smells amazing when you walk in the door because they bake their own bread (along with other baked goods which I didn't get a chance to try). I went on the recommendation of a Friend from Tulsa when I was in town for work. My coworkers and I all really enjoyed our lunches. I had the Turkey & Avocado sandwich which was made with delicious, fresh ingredients and my side was the crispy beets which were cooked perfectly and tasted great! On our way out, a couple of us were pleased to see the diner sells Topeca coffee and we got some to go - major bonus! Service is poor here. We ordered coffee and it took over 10 minutes to get it in these small espresso type cups. It then took them another 10+ minutes to come back by and refill it. I watched one of the waiters walk right by my table and another table with a full pot and didn't offer any to us and then proceeded to poor the coffee to another couple two tables down. It took another 15 mins to get the check after we were finished with our meal. I am not impressed by this business and we have no plans on ever returning here.
