This is a regular spot I used to visit and stopping by today, nothing has changed. I love their variety of quesadillas and sauces. Their service has gotten faster and their staff is friendly. My favorite is their Hot Hatch Quesadilla with jalapeño ranch. Highly recommend if you can not decide what to get. The inside is like fast service and you order at the counter. We love Dillas, we've been to both- one in Frisco (by mall) & this one on edge of Plano/Carrollton. This one is close by so is our normal go to spot. We have tried all their quesadillas & really can't pick my favorite. They come with a small container of sauce(different ones for different choices) haven't been disappointed yet. I try to stay away from too much salt so ask for unsalted fries (when I get the combo meal) & they always accommodate me with no problem. I was glad to see they have their dine in & self serve drink machine both open again. They have taken some of their tables out but still felt a little crowded so took our food home to eat. Clerks have always been friendly & helpful. Highly recommend this fast food place. read more

Update Received a email from Kyle stating that Jacob would reach out to me to correct this. Received email from Jacob saying he would put $20 on my phone to use for future purchase. I tried several times trying to order using my phone number and the credit was not there. So I reached out to both Kyle and Jacob and as of today have not heard back from nor have I seen the credit. I was a frequent customer to the Frisco location but this was the first time at the midland location. But if this is how they treat their customers I will no longer be a customer. Placed order online for pickup order was Gordo extra bacon with chicken and 2 fries with light salt. Order was completely wrong. Due to them rushing because of company Christmas party. Wow wow wow!!!!!! So incredibly yummy!!!!! I got the Bluebonnet (vegetarian dilla) which had Portobello mushrooms, spinach, zucchini, cheese and other yummyyy veggies with the side of corn salsa and guac sauce and I was blown away! The veggies were so crunchy and flavorful and it tastes like they use fresh spices and herbs. You can build your own dilla but I really liked the bluebonnet dilla. Food and service were really good. I was so satisfied and the quesadilla was a perfect portion. The fresh sweet tea was a perfect drink for my meal. They have a drive-through but I dined in at the restaurant with my friend. Cookies are also a part of the sides option so if you get a main entree you can choose 2 sides. Overall this place is amazing and I will be coming back here. Unfortunately, Dillas doesn't have freaking amazing quesadillas, but they're okay. The flavors are a little bland, and I think it's questionable how fresh all the ingredients are. Given that they're trying this restaurant in a fast food format, that's kind of okay, but I'm left wanting. Otherwise, the prices are fine, and the interior decor is ugly. Apparently the origin of the restaurant's name is tied to the 2004 film Napoleon Dynamite, so there's posters of it... but it comes across as awkward as the film itself. read more

I think that there should be a food tracker. That way When it is busy or slow, people can keep track of their food. I placed an order today and the time frame that it would be ready or pickup time was 24 minutes. Earlier that day they have been running about 15 minutes. I waited about 15 minutes to go in and get my food. I had arrived early to the restaurant and sat in the car for 10 minutes. I don't know when the food was completed, but it was not hot. When I picked it up. Up. They had it in the little refrigerator or warmer, that is black that they keep on the counter. There was no one in the parking lot when I walked in and the one person inside was cleaning tables and a couple of people in the back were doing some training. I felt like the food may have been ready when I arrived at the restaurant, maybe 5 minutes after placing The order. I ordered two gordo's with the addition of cilantro and spinach. Those came with jalapeno ranch dipping sauce. Also had a salad for myself, with brisket and added zucchini and red onion. The chimi dressing that comes with the salad was not good, but thank goodness I had ordered some ranch as well as jalapeno ranch on the side. Salsa was slightly better than average. I stopped in at Dillas after years of wondering if it was any good. Reviews on Yelp were particularly helpful. I ordered the Founders, regular sized. I was a bit taken aback by the size - a regular size was just 2 wedges and (full confession) I'm usually a 3 or 4 wedge person. However, it was really filling! It's probably because the filling was heavy on the "stuff" and light on the cheese. It featured just enough cheese to hold everything together but not so much that it was over cheesy. Awesome! All in all it was a good experience but I'm not sure i'd go out of my way to have someone else make quesadillas for me. But if I do, this is where I'll go!! read more

The meat had a good flavor too. I could tell that they use high quality fresh ingredients. While I liked that it felt fresh (and not like greasy fast food), it was super pricey for the amount you get. CC was really disappointed by the size of his quesadilla. First time even hearing about this place was as we drove by on the way to Cane's, which is adjacent to Dillas. Tired of chicken tendies, I steered into Dillas drive-thru and fired away. We ordered two of their specialty (as opposed to make-your-own) quesadillas, the Hot Hatch and the Buffalo Chicken, along with the "make it a meal" option of fries and salsa, and a drink. All-in the bill was over $20 for the two of us, so it's not cheap. The food was excellent - the dillas were full of chicken and the other ingredients, and while a little messy, you could dip them in the salsa, which was delicious and fresh, or the green / creamy sauce, which was less than thrilling. You can order one of their specialities or make your own quesadillas! I opted for the former. I got the Lonestar Combo. The quesadilla came with SMOKED BRISKET, Red Onion, Cilantro, BBQ Sauce, Cheese Blend, and JALAPEÑO RANCH. One of their top sellers apparently and would highly recommend! Dipping the quesadilla into the jalapeños ranch was like Heaven. Also got a side of their citrus corn salad and fries , with my version of an Arnold Palmer (half unsweetened tea and half limeade)! All were delicious! Sign up for their rewards program and you will receive a free chips and queso! Chips were a little salty, but queso was good! Reasonably priced and quick! Go try it! Finally tried this place out! I ordered online for pick up and I'm glad I did. By the time I walked in, my order was ready. I got the hot hatch, lone star and buffalo chicken. All were good but the lone star was by far the most favorite! The brisket was really good. They put the salsa on the side which is great. I got an order of chips and queso. We decided to give this place a try on a Saturday afternoon, around 4 pm. As I walked into this place, I noticed we were the only ones inside so we walked right up to the cashier. As we were ordering, the roof straight above the cash register began leaking and making a mess everywhere. We eventually switched cash registers to complete the order. I ordered the full Gorilla Fluffy quesadilla without the fries, chips and queso. The quesadilla was ok/ average with ok flavors. The chips were unevenly sprinkled with whatever spices they put on them so a few chips will carry most of the spice load and the questo was ok as well. Restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. Overall, I don't think I will be returning here due to the price point for some quesadillas that are average at best. I am giving them 3 out of 5 stars because it is a far from a stellar place but also not a dump either. Just middle of the road, average place who did just enough to keep me happy leaving the place. The quesadilla (which is 2 pieces or half of a big tortilla) was surprisingly good! I'm not a bbq sauce fan, but this was pretty good. The corn salad consisted of sweet corn, black beans, tomato, fresh jalapeno, cilantro soaked in lime juice. Fries were ok. Overall, it's a bit pricey for quesadillas. The combo side portions are small and limited. Other sides were chips or fudge pralines. ??? Jalapeno ranch dip was good, but runny. Other sauces included: Creamy Churri, Honey Mustard, Buttermilk Ranch,Salsa, Austin's Own® BBQ, GUAC SAUCE. Their gorilla fries looks good.
