I love a good raspberry jelly donut. Again, nice chew and not too sweet. Filling didn't have that artificially taste and spread evenly with each bite. I enjoyed it. DD loved the chocolate cake with cereal top. She didn't share bc it was that good to her. Hubs ate the chocolate glaze and maple bar by himself so I couldn't taste either. I guess the fam enjoyed it. Wish they had some French Cruellers as that's another favorite of mine. Before we had the sweets, we did share a croissant bacon egg cheese sandwich. Ngl, I was pleasantly surprised. Microwaved crispy bacon and melted cheese and it was a pretty tasty breakfast sandwich was for a donut shop. I'd drive across town again for more when I get another fix and donut what to eat for breakfast

The burnt Basque cheesecake came topped with diced caramel apples and crispy strudel- one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Overall, this visit left us a little deflated. The appetizers underdelivered for the price, and it stings a bit on a sentimental occasion. That said, I'm still curious about their entrées. We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

While I looked at the display case, another woman was at the register to pay but had no cash and no apps to pay as the place is cash or tap only. The two ladies that came in paid for her purchase. The fritter is thin, had apples and isn't bad. I actually liked that it wasn't thick which can cause it to be gummy or undercooked inside. It was slightly burnt along the edges which can happen because these guys need more fry time. It was lacking cinnamon for me but overall, not bad. Not too sweet either. Happy to come back and get some raised doughnuts to try as well. Plenty of parking in the lot so give this place a try. Please support this local business.
