The way I was spoken to made me feel like I was asking for free food instead of being a paying customer. It's really a shame because the café itself is beautiful and the pastries are delicious. I genuinely want to like this place, but when the drinks don't match what's advertised and the service makes you feel unwelcome, it really takes away from the whole experience. The next day, same lady was ringing my order and had a glove in one hand but she was touching the gloves with the other hand while touching the computer. Then she takes the hand with the gloves bagging my bread. Lots of cross contamination. Food tongs for customers were not washed and reused! Food trays are not wash. I ended up using the parchment paper to grab the bread. I think the workers need to be train on food safety. It is not safe for workers to be handling cash and transactions using the same glove like this with food.
