Karen, the owner, took the time to walk me through the sampler box of the different wedding cake flavors, even though it started to get busy in the store she was very kind to make it a personal experience. There were 12 different flavors in the sampler ranging from standard red velvet or vanilla cake, to some fancier ones such as poppy seed cake with lemon curd. Our favorite was the vanilla cake with apricot preserve and we will almost certainly be having that as one of our layers. I am very excited to continue working with them as we design our cake and next time I go in I will definitely be grabbing one of th delicious looking cannoli!

The only thing she consistently requests--once or twice a week--are treats from East Bay Bakery. It is the one thing she will always eat! But this is at a very convenient location and save us time to drive and then look for parking in Stoneridge . Lady staff is nice . She is the only one there so she gets busy in the back baking . The next day, same lady was ringing my order and had a glove in one hand but she was touching the gloves with the other hand while touching the computer. Then she takes the hand with the gloves bagging my bread. Lots of cross contamination. Food tongs for customers were not washed and reused! Food trays are not wash. I ended up using the parchment paper to grab the bread. I think the workers need to be train on food safety. It is not safe for workers to be handling cash and transactions using the same glove like this with food.

However, the girls did pick out a couple pieces of candy for each and we spent about $4.50. This place is definitely cute and provides a lot of different types of candies, but it is kind of pricey.
