Well put together cookie decorating kit with yummy cookies!
    Craig Y.

I haven't hired Jessica to make custom cookies for me, but given the quality of her icing and cookies, I would definitely do it in a second. So glad she helped to host the virtual cookie decorating class! In this weird and wild time, it was nice to do something that felt NORMAL! We paid for the cookie decorating kit which had six wonderfully tasting sugar cookies with icing enough for all six plus leftovers. Decorations included (loved the sprinkles). Everything wrapped and sealed for our health and protection. Even contactless pick-up! But beyond that the quality of the cookies were SO good! Just high quality ingredients making a great overall taste. Not overly sweet but just right. Would highly recommend Jessica and Toadily Baked. Great service, great cookies, and lots of love and care in one box.

My custom cookies to launch my new logo! Jessica did the custom design of the holly on the sides.

I cannot say enough great things about these Toadly yummy and adorable cookies. Jessica is a dream to work with. She is communicative and so creative. She works quickly and I seriously cannot say enough great things about this delicious treats. I am going to hire her again and again my only problem is she's so dang good!! Thank you again Jessica!!

I worked with Jessica on my sons first birthday sweets and treats. She TOTALLY knocked it out of the park! They were almost too pretty to eat! She was super professional yet easy going and understanding when I picked up a little late (I drove all the way from SF because I wanted her to decorate and bake!). Can't wait for me next big party as an excuse to order form Toadily Baked again :)

    Lemon, strawberry, cookies and cream

I first saw Toadily Baked when they had a pop up at the Veranda. The cookies and macarons looked yummy but I wasn't able to make it there so I followed the IG page. Well she opened up some orders this week so I decided to order some macarons for the kids as a surprise. Payment via Venmo and pick up at her home in Concord. The packaging was nice and cute. The flavors we had were strawberry, lemon and cookies and cream. The strawberry and cookies and cream were fantastic! You can really taste the flavor. The lemon was good but I didn't taste any lemon, it was more like vanilla. Texture is perfect but the lemon needed a lemony punch. Overall delicious macarons! Definitely try them if you love macarons like we do!

I ordered the Hocus Pocus set for the release of Hocus Pocus 2. Jessica's cookies are soooo detailed, cute and tasty. Jessica was very accommodating and flexible with pick up. She was doing a pop up at a shop but I couldn't make those hours with childcare and my schedule. She allowed me pick up outside of her pop up. Thank you Jessica. :)

I reached out to Jessica to make cookies for my daughters 6th birthday (which happened to fall on Mother's Day this year). I looked at TONS of cookiers on IG and unsurprisingly, most weren't taking orders because it was Mother's Day AND teacher appreciation week so understandably the demand was high. I put in my inquiry through her online site, it was really easy and straightforward. In that inquiry I explained the theme of the cookies and what I was envisioning. She responded in a timely fashion to confirm receipt. I sent her the deposit. And it was that simple. Other half of the total fees were due a week before pickup. But there was no back and forth after confirmation of my order. From just my online request via her form she was able to create exactly what I was looking for. Colors were vibrant, there was no bleeding, cracking, or air bubbles and icing was perfectly set the day of pick up. AND they tasted good! They weren't chalky or rock hard like the kind you might get at target or Starbucks. I picked up from her on 5/8 and ate the last straggler about a week later and it was still good. Will definitely order again!

    Nom noms. Best macarons ever

Awesome. No other word describes better. We bought a couple of decorating kits and some macarons. I'm not a macaron fan. They've always been too dry, crispy and annoyingly messy. Not to mention not very flavor forward. But these, these macarons were even a couple of days waiting to be tasted and they were so delicious. Not too crisp but oh so puffy, flaky and just the right amount of chewy (I need to work on my vocabulary) as I worked my way to the creamy, buttery delicious center flavored expertly. Not to bold, not too light. And the kits! Opening up the Pizza kit made my mouth cry! It smells so good. Everything is sealed to ensure freshness and your decorating success. This is giving the family a great group activity. A chance to exercise some creativeness, have fun together and share a very special treat. This is also going to help me learn how to decorate cookies. When I need my Disney fix, I'll be able to grab my Mickey cookie cutter and make some magic at home. Highly recommend Toadily Baked if you want custom made desserts or do it yourself kits. I think you'll be delighted with your choice.

Jessica has made birthday party cookies for both my kids parties last year, and we also ordered some Easter cookies during shelter in place. They are so delicious and absolutely beautiful! She also does an amazing job with the packaging. I can't rave enough! Thank you!

Gorgeous! Delicious! Jessica is so so talented! She made a bunch of personalized cookies for a bridal shower party I helped host and this was definitely the highlight of the event! All of our guests were so impressed with how beautiful each cookie was. Jessica was super helpful with bringing my indecisive ideas and created into something cohesive and wonderful! She was great to work with and prompt with all communications. Pickup was a breeze.

So easy to order and pick up! All of my family agreed these were some of the best macarons they've ever had!!

Cupcakes & cookie party favors from my daughter's music festival-themed birthday party. She nailed the "tie dye" look I was going for.

Toadily Baked is my go-to for making any occasion into a party. She does the treats for all my family's special events. I have given her countless themes over the years & she has nailed them all. My standard order for a kids birthday party is a mini-cake for the birthday girl to blow out her candle, cupcakes for the guests, & cookie party favors - all matching the theme. Everything tastes great & guests comment every.single.time on how cute they are. She's also great on turnaround times. She has squeezed in a custom order for me when she's been busy which I really appreciated. I follow her on IG @toadilybaked to stay in the loop on new products & events. So happy to have found you, Jessica! Thanks for everything!

Glad I contacted her early - she booked up quickly. Our high school graduate will be heading San Diego State -- the cookies were the perfect addition to our graduation party. The communication was great throughout the entire process and the cookies are delicious

    Love these cactus cookies!

Jessica is the best, creative, professional and licensed for her home business as well. My first order was for cactus cookies that I needed to send to AZ. Jessica made them for me quickly, individually wrapped and boxed ready to send! I have since ordered Easter treats and a cookie cake, Yum! Best part is supporting a local, home business!

We noticed tables of candies and a whole wall of candy that you can choose from each candy was labeled with different countries where the candies came from which I thought was pretty cool. The people asked us if we need any help to let them know. We did notice that the prices were pretty high. So for 1 pound of candy in the bag it was $25. However, the girls did pick out a couple pieces of candy for each and we spent about $4.50. This place is definitely cute and provides a lot of different types of candies, but it is kind of pricey. We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

From the moment you step inside, there is an unmistakable warmth to the space not just from the ovens but from the overall vibe. It is bright, upbeat, and welcoming in a way that immediately puts you at ease and sets the tone for a great experience. We started with the Pop Tarts which deserve special recognition. These are not novelty pastries. They are elevated, flaky, buttery, and packed with flavor. The kind of treat that makes you pause mid bite and immediately realize this place takes its craft seriously. The breakfast burrito was equally impressive. Hearty, well balanced, and comforting without being heavy, it was clearly made with intention and quality ingredients rather than shortcuts. The waffles with blueberries and whipped cream were outstanding. Crisp on the outside and soft and airy on the inside, with fresh blueberries that added brightness and a whipped cream that felt light and indulgent rather than overly sweet. It was the kind of dish that manages to feel nostalgic and refined at the same time. Then came the pastries. Any attempt at restraint disappeared quickly. Everything in the case looked incredible and after tasting the first few items it became obvious that passing on anything would have been a mistake. We ended up buying far more pastries than planned simply because the quality across the board was that high. There were no weak links. What truly elevates Life Is Sweet beyond excellent food is the energy of the place. There is a positivity that fills the room and it is completely effortless. It makes you want to slow down, sit longer, and enjoy where you are. Whether you are stopping in for a quick breakfast or lingering with coffee and conversation, the environment naturally lifts your mood. Life Is Sweet is not just a bakery or breakfast spot. It is a place that genuinely enhances your day. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is inviting, and the experience stays with you well after you leave. This is a must visit in Danville and the kind of place you will find yourself thinking about long after the last pastry is gone.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by a young lady behind the counter. I decided to try a variety of cookies on display in the case. I went with- Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter, Cookies 'n Cream, and Snickerdoodle. So 4 cookies, total $19. Good, fresh and tasty cookies. Not too sweet. Cafe was clean and neat. Lots of tables inside, and some outside. I will definitely return if I'm in downtown Danville again.

I remembered a place on Jackson Street that I had gone to 5 years ago that had a tremendous selection - looked it up on Yelp and it was no longer on Jackson, but was listed in Castro Valley. So we went thought we'd go by and give it a try. Great decision! The "new" store in Castro Valley is much brighter, cleaner, nicer than the old location. I think the old location had more stuff from Eastern Europe, but this new location seems to have a broader selection, with more stuff from Western Europe and the Middle East. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful - always willing to answer questions and even give tips on how to use the products that they sell. And his recommendations have been great - we asked him about which tahini and zaatar to get (they have many different brands/types of each...) and the ones he recommended have been way tastier than any of the brands that you find in most markets. Especially good was his recommendation on lebnah - he said that the brands they carry are all good, but they have some that they package in-house that was special. I tried it - it was less expensive than the other brands, but was the very best lebnah that I have ever tasted! Richer, creamier, with just the right amount of tang. Wonderful stuff! Anyway, Crossroads is a nice, clean, well-lit place with a great selection of unique products, and friendly, knowledgeable sales staff. Well worth a trip!
