Great food, service and ambiance. Live music was nice (a bit loud for the space but the gentleman had a very nice voice).

DO NOT RECOMMEND! NO STARS TO GIVE!!! FAILURE With all the places to eat in Miami don't waste your money going here! Not a steakhouse atmosphere. More of a cafeteria with prices of a steakhouse. 1. They have a person singing in the corner with a huge speaker blasting during dinner. Its impossible to have a conversation. We were a group of 8 and we asked the owner to tilt the speaker to the side and he said "no". We asked the musician to turn the volume down and he said the owner told him to turn it up. 2. Food is nothing to brag about. The meats are dry and over cooked even if you request "medium rare". The bread is stale and the butter comes in a cafeteria styled packaging. 3. Paper napkins and water filled in mason jars. Wood style tables. Not fancy. Located in a shopping center. Nothing against shopping centers as some of nicest restaurants I've been to in Miami started in shopping centers:) 4. We ordered a few bottles of wine suggested by the owner himself. We were surprised when the bill came to find a charge for over $60 for cork fees. We inquired as to these fees since we had NOT brought our own wine and the owner explained that he charges "cork fees" on all his wines...even on a $10.00 bottle he offered us...... definitely this was very upsetting because this was not explained to anyone and even though he knew we were upset he clearly preferred to lose the table/customers plus any other new referrals we could have sent over his way than to waive that fee. Obviously he doesn't understand that sometimes you win more by treating customers kindly. 5. As to the waitress and staff they were all very professionals and helpful. But when it came down to dealing with the owner we were very disappointed on how we were treated. We will never go back to this place. The food is not worth it and spending $400.0 for a party of 6 adults and leaving the table with such a terrible experience makes one understand how some of these restaurants do not survive in Florida. Wow I didn't know my neighborhood had such a cozy and delicious restaurant. I'm very impressed to find this Argentinian Restaurant in Kendal. If you have not stopped by here, you have to give it a try. We were looking forward to their breakfast, but, it ends at 11:30am - so come early to not miss out. Today I went in a group of 7 people. We were kindly greeted by three of their staff member and shared multiple laughs with the head greater (an Argentinian man - he is somewhat of a supervisor there). The waitress Sarah helped us pick some tasty items off their menu and I can say I was very impressed with their quality. Everything that we tried was really good including their coffees. Found this place on Yelp. Decided to try for dinner and what a nice surprise so close to home. Clean and nicely decorated place. Not too big but spacious enough where you are not on top of other guests and plenty of seating. It wasn't too busy when we came. They had live music which was a little loud at first but either is was turned down or we adjusted. The band played a little bit of everything (Spanish and English pop type music). Service was excellent and out waitress was attentive and efficient. Food was delicious, steaks were cooked just right and came out pretty quick. We ordered the entraña (skirt steak) with a salad and a parillada which came with flank steak, ribs, chicken, morcilla, chorizo, and two sides served on a cute little grill. The meat was very tough, and to be honest with you the service was very sub par. We asked for the typical Argentine and asado and what we got was basically pork chicken, and very little good meat. We ordered some empanadas and we're very dry to be honest with you. I would not recommend this to anyone. Found this place on accident, was super hopeful that it would exceed my expectations. I now wish I had read the reviews before hand. The servers were very nice no complaints there. However, most of the food sucked. The steaks were super bland and tough. The only thing I enjoyed was my daughters kids tenders and the grilled octopus ( but only because we sent it back to get a little char). I had to pick up some medicine for my daughter at the Walgreens in Country Walk, so I decided to finally try DiCrespo since I was in the area. I ordered the Entraña Sandwich , and it comes with french fries. The sandwich was very good. It's a nice piece of steak which was cooked just as I asked, lettuce, tomatoes, and some mayonnaise. I asked for some of their chimichurri sauce so I could add that as well. What made the sandwich even better was the homemade bread they use. Hard to describe , but was some type of Argentinian baguette. I very much enjoyed my lunch, my only complaint would be that it's a little pricey at $18 for the sandwich. Great food made with care and cooked to perfection. We started off with the beef empanadas, they were baked, plenty of meat inside with a great flavor and an awesome texture outside. Then we had the triple selection appetizer DiCrespo, the sausages and the sweet breads were also very flavorful. A perfect start to the meal. For the main course, we had the Milanés chicken and the skirt steak that was perfectly cooked Medium rare. Finally the dessert, I don't know the name, it was a chocolate cookie with Carmel and whip cream that was amazing. The food is delicious. There is one dessert that has dulce de leche is out of this world. I didn't get a chance to take a pic because it was in my stomach. Ok let me just say the people here and the owner were very nice. We had a Groupon, and it wasn't working so they offered to take a huge portion off our bill, which was very nice, though later not necessary because we got it to work. That is the main reason I'm giving 3 stars even honestly. The food was not great. For the prices it wasn't too bad but I just like to eat fresh, juicy meat. We had the parrillada special for 2 . It was mediocre at best. The meat was kind of dry and looked as though it had been reheated. Also tried a sangria and it was not great either. We were craving some good Argentinian food and desserts so I Yelped my way to this spot which was near where we were at the time. We got our food to go. The food was really good! The meats were perfectly seasoned, the Russian potato salad was really good. The portions were huge, enough for both of us to share. A little hole in the wall in the back of a shopping center that if you don't know of them you probably wouldn't find them. The overall experience was good. The food was definitely on point with temperature, taste and portion size. The sauces were delicious! They are all made in house which I think was a big plus! We went for dinner, party of 8. When they brought us the dinner a roach crawled out from under the Parrillada grille. I screamed and the waitress came and grabbed it with her hand and covered it with the other hand and then came back like nothing. The excuse was that they had exterminated the night before and this roach got away. They charged us the entire bill with nothing else said. But as soon as I walked in and turned to my left I saw the bottles of wine and I was hooked. The restaurant is very cozy and inviting. I loved the music playing ( Carlos Vives, Shakira, Gloria Estefan). Immediately we were seated and our drink orders were taken. The house Malbec was an excellent choice to pair with our meal. The service was exceptional. The food was delicious. I ordered the short rib and boy was I happy. It was amazing. Each bite I took around the bone was so good. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the NY strip which also came perfectly cooked. I have to say that the star of the night was the Dulce de Leche crepes. I had to fight back from licking the plate clean. This restaurant doesn't deserve any stars. My first time visiting this restaurant and definitely the last. Save your time and money. You're better off going to the Alexander steak house than here. First incident was having mold on my appetizer. I discretely tried telling the owner so no one else around us would hear. The owner had the audacity to challenge my intelligence and tell me that it was the cut of the prosciutto. As the owner, he should be able to know the difference between mold and fat. The owner did not take any responsibility for the bad and old food, never apologized and didn't even bother coming back to the table to find a solution, offer to take it off the bill, NOTHING. As a guest, if you are the manager it is your job to make the guest want to come back to your restaurant. The server that ended up attending us was the only person who attempted to make the situation better. Unfortunately our meal also came out wrong. We ordered our meats medium rare and what we got served was well done meat. The cancelled my order for no reason after 30 minutes . I won't order from this place anymore

I visited this place a while back when it was still "hot & new". We showed up Sunday morning at 10 a.m. after doing to whole "Cracker Barrel is so far, Denny's is so blah" thing for a good 15 minutes. I searched "breakfast near me" like a good little Yelper and this gem popped up. We were greatly by friendly wait staff, we were the first customers of the day. As I perused the front counter I noticed several pastries and empanadas softly saying, "take meeeee". We had the chicken empanada: dead, the meat empanadas: resurrected, and dulce de Leche pastry: I guess I'm part cat because... dead again. I ordered an egg omelette and the Mr. ordered a burger with an egg in it. We made a few adjusted which the staff had no problem at all complying with. The price was absolutely more than fair. I almost don't want to say that because I have seen mom and pop shops inflate their prices when they get famous. Hopefully, this family will stay humble. The atmopshere in this restaurant is very nice. The waitress that helped us was super kind (I wish I remembered her name). She even apologized about her English not being too well, which I thought was super considerate (In my opinion she spoke great English). I have been waiting to come here for a while and I'm glad I did. First off from entering I felt good from how clean everything looked. My husband and I were greeted, we sat where we liked as the young lady advised. The waitress was so sweet and very helpful with the questions I had about the dishes. We started off with empanadas and those were delicious. My husband chose the Entraña al Roquefort and he loved it. They had these golden potatoes that were delicious, yes I tried his dish too! The meat with Gorgonzola sauce was incredibly rich in taste. I chose the Chivita Dicrespo and this dish was very good! The russel Salad which is a potato salad was tasty. This was one of my favorite places to grab breakfast. Drove a significant distance to have breakfast at their location. Yelp says the open time on Saturday is 8am and so does the door. They don't bother to check if they have any orders, or their systems don't work, so by the time you got there your order will have already been canceled and you'll need to get a refund so save yourself the trouble. This tiny little hole on the wall has turn to a go to restaurant since we live in West Kendall on the nights we don't want to do the long drive to the heart of Miami. The place is clean, neat and the service is fantastic. From the amazing variety of empanadas, tasty appetizers, perfectly cooked pasta, to the incredible good quality of steaks like their Tomahawk, you will be just a satisfied (if not more) as dinning in one of those pricey Brickell or South Beach restaurants. Perfection! Food is excellent, service is attentive and friendly. The space is a good size, unless you come during popular hours/days, it can get packed but it's worth the wait.
