In Dallas for one night. We like to visit places on the American Advantage App. After discovering Stickie's Garage Burgers & Brews down the street was closed we pivoted here. BIG MISTAKE! Arrived at 4:30pm and the place was empty. Meats were all sitting out on the counter top. Sides looking crusty. We tried the brisket & turkey sandwiches with mac n cheese. Everything was cold. Interior appeared run down. Bathroom was dirty with hand prints on stall walls. Would not recommend this location. Hoping we don't get sick from room temperature food.

Good pulled pork ! The brisket is on the dry side. I did enjoy the cheese inside of the sausage, a nice surprise for me since someone else in the family ordered it! We ordered several pounds of each for a family get together. Potato salad and Macaroni cheese was good nothing different. Not sure how the cost compares to other BBQ take out, but I felt it was above average value for the money.

This is what $20 gets you at Dickie's barbecue . Two med sides for almost $20 . I know prices have gone up, but this is ridiculous and greedy.

Drive thru menu with prices, December 2021.

I work down the street and was tired of the chicken xpress and Dairy Queen options on this intersection. I pulled up to Dickies and got me the tried and true #1 chopped brisket sandwich combo with bbq beans and a drink. At $13 with taxes, the price point is steep but it's a place I may frequent every other week on payday lol. Or if I bring lunch consecutive days and need some fast food bbq. Yes there is Hard Eight down the road, but with a 30 min lunch break this is a more plausible option. **Ask for extra BBQ sauce

I have been coming to this Dickey's off and on for four years now. Always for lunch. They recently remodeled the place and it looks amazing. The service is as spectacular as usual. People say this is just average barbecue. I beg to differ. I will offer that this is good barbecue with a great selection of sides for an amazing price. Today the manager's special was brisket, sausage, and ribs for $10.49. Pick two sides and add whatever else you want. Between the remodeling job and the good food - this makes for a great lunch spot.

Baked potato plain with chicken with no green onions cheese and bacon. Yucky. Potato taste old.

The food is terrible! Old baked potato. Not fresh potato. Never go back again. There is a picture of it.

I really have been craving bbq since ive been in TX for 6 weeks. I probably should've waited until I got back to NC. The food was ok. I never order on Uber Eats and expect the food to be pipping hot/super extravagant. The meats weren't dry despite the way the picture may look. I was thrown off by the fact that the ribs did not have bbq on it. I had to add my own bbq to everything which was the first i've ever had to do so. The sides overall just werent good unfortunately. But I would be interested in trying it at the actual location one day

Food was great and so was the service. Not crazy busy during Saturday but I always try to eat outside of lunch or dinner rushes. Rolls tasty dipped in the sauce!

A gem in an otherwise culinary wasteland…read more This bistro is located off the main lobby of the Westin at DFW. There are multiple budget hotels in the area and the only food choices within reasonable walking distance are Denny's, gas stations and an outdoor food shed at another motel. There is a well curated list of local craft beers (8). Make a point to ask for the separate alternative "healthy menu". The food on that menu is very different from the comfort food on the main menu and it is available in half orders. I tried a half order of chicken and avocado arepas and a half order of tuna tataki. Both were delicious and visually pleasing. Staff is attentive, engaged but not intrusive. Prices for these two items were $8 each, very reasonable.

This includes a few nights at the bar and 2 nights in my room. The staff was never overly inviting but they were usually busy with a demanding crowd of hotel guests. Ordering through the Marriott app looked like a great option but it wouldn't work once they asked you how you'd like to pay. When you go downstairs and scan their QR code, it brings you to the same interface but on a website rather than an app, and that worked fine. The chicken wrap with fries was pretty good and was my go to. The house salad wasn't great and I wouldn't try it again. The half order of the tuna was decent but I loved the pickled veggies under them and would have just had a bowl of those! I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but having this inside your hotel for convenience is nice.

We had two servers and both were kind and helpful with taking our order and getting drinks and food out on time! The restaurant is mood-lit and vibey. It's a calm atmosphere and their bar area is stunning. I got the fries and friends, which came with three dipping sauces. This is a very generous portion and my boyfriend and I were unable to finish it between the two of us- would be great to share with 4 people, in my opinion! I also got the Brussel sprouts, which I did finish. They are cooked to perfection and have an incredible garlic sauce. They used to have grapes mixed in, which I LOVED! However, they have since changed the menu. I understand it was an odd pairing and maybe guests didn't want to try it, but it was great!!! Sad to see it change, but still good! My boyfriend and I both got the great rum punch, and it packed a punch! Although l couldn't taste the alcohol on the sweet drink, I could feel it! We had a great time and will be back. We wanted to recommend the charcuterie board, we get it most times we come! They always have fresh and seasonal options they put on the board and have even made a fully vegetarian board for me before, they're great!

The menu looked a little different, and the service was really good. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were absolutely wonderful. I don't even like tomatoes, but apparently my objections disappear once you bread and fry them. I have principles. They're just negotiable. For my entrée, I ordered the steak salad. It was okay, but nothing I'd get excited about. The steak was lukewarm, and the dressing was sweeter than I wanted. I prefer my sweets in cake form, which, conveniently, was already part of the agenda. I'd skip the salad next time for the price; I've had better meals elsewhere. But the whiskey cake? Still amazing. Still worth remembering years later. Honestly, I'd come back again and again just for that cake. So my lunch had a strong opening, an underwhelming middle, and a spectacular finale. Thankfully, I'm very willing to forgive a plot issue when dessert sticks the landing.

That made his recommendations feel genuine because he could actually speak to the flavors, portions, and what he thought we would enjoy. It was a treat for me to finally visit a Texas Roadhouse restaurant!…read more Yeah, da 808 is kinda behind da times, as we don't have Texas Roadhouse out here, but we got Outback Steakhouse in da 808. Lol! So Tuesday night Carrollton got hit with a storm. Heavy rain, lightening, & thunder. I asked my coworkers if they wanted to head out to dinner, but it appeared that da fella's weren't down wid' it. Luckily, my Big Island coworker was also in Texas the same time I was here, so I reached out to him to see if he was down........sure enough, he was. When in Texas, I guess ya gotta have Texas BBQ at least once.......and being that I have worked in Texas numerous times, I've had more than my share of BBQ Ribs & Brisket in the past. Upon deciding on where to go, we ended up at - Texas Roadhouse in Irving. The Tuesday night we came here, even through the bad weather, the restaurant was still packed! The wait for a table was minimum, and upon getting seated, service was instantanious. I think I was still recovering from the previous night from Japan House, so I didn't want to eat a whole bunch of food. Upon looking over the menu, I ended up with just a BBQ Chicken Sandwich w/Fries. As for my Big Island coworker, he went for da gusto and got a BBQ Ribs & Steak plate. What can I say about the grub? I really enjoyed my BBQ Chicken Sandwich! It was a bit messy with all that sauce, but that's what napkins are for! Lol! Very generous serving of food, and I managed to down all of my sandwich, but left most of my fries behind, as it was just too much food. As for my coworker, he destroyed his BBQ Ribs & Steak plate. I was so happy he enjoyed his meal, as two days before I took him to another restaurant where he ordered a similar combo, but left a lot of food behind (I think his meal wasn't too good at the other restaurant). One more thing about Texas Roadhouse...........have you ever tried the complimentary rolls? Oh my!!!! Da buggah is Winnah's! Overall a wonderful dining experience, and should I ever return to Texas, ya better bookmark Texas Roadhouse on the places to visit for BBQ.

Texas Roadhouse is a popular, casual restaurant that offers very good steaks at a great value…read more With prices at restaurants soaring, it's nice to have a place you can visit that won't break the bank. But, as my last visit reminded me, you get what you pay for. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service), 3 if you only care about steaks Atmosphere - Casual, lively, and family friendly, there's always a large crowd at this busy restaurant. There's a welcoming, comforting Texas theme. And Texas Roadbouse maximizes seating - which means it can get really tight. If you're not comfortable in big crowds and tight spaces, this place is not for you. Me? I feel right at home. 1 Star. Service - The service a Texas Roadhouse is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and download the app. You can "Get in Line" which will greatly reduce your wait time. Once you check in and your table is ready, a hostess will grab a basket of freshly baked rolls (more on this later) and lead you to your table. Our server was also great. Friendly, fast, and attentive. 1 Star. Food - I'll start with the good. The freshly baked rolls come with cinnamon butter and are delicious. They're also bottomless, so if your server sees you've finished them, a new basket will appear. Now the bad - avoid the ribs. I tried a half rack, and unfortunately they were overdone (a bit burnt). I know Texas Roadhouse is not a BBQ joint, so there was no smoke at all. The ribs were covered in a thick layer of sauce, which while I normally don't like, I needed it because the ribs were burnt and dry. If it wasn't for the rolls, I would have left hungry. No Stars. Will I Return? - No. Texas Roadhouse used to be in my rotation for the value, but on this visit my son told me he didn't like it and never wants to return. Add my experience with the ribs, I'm right there with him. No Stars.
