From the atmosphere to the service to the food, you have to check this place out. They are definitely looking to make a name for themselves and doing a great job. It's really refreshing to go to a place and feel like a guest and that they appreciate you coming in supporting their business and showing it with quality drinks and food. This place is gonna make a difference over all the other in the area because they're trying to do it and understand that people have choices. Ask for Braden and let him know that you found this on Yelp. BTW, Jordan is a pro and a prize.

Ordered the margarita pizza and a side order of ceaser through Uber Eats and that was not great . The pizza is actually not very much a pizza - not a pizza dough and very little toppings . Very disappointing . The ceaser salad was not even fresh - the croutons felt very stale . I do not recommend that place

The newly opened Tavern on Meridian in Las Colinas is nicely designed, with a beautiful bar area and well-spaced tables. Truly nice. The menu, including the drink list, is tempting and portions are generous. I recommend trying their spicy chicken sandwich. Above all, the service is exceptional. Super attentive and friendly. Five stars.

We had a very enjoyable evening at the Tavern! We stopped in for a quick appetizer but ended up making a full night out of it. Ford was extremely friendly and helpful at the bar. The drinks were fantastic and their olive tapenade bread is amazing. That lead us to trying the pizza which was a deep dish treat! We will be coming back again!

Great restaurant in the Las Colinas area. Great food, prices, atmosphere and service. Go check out this place and get fantastic service from the waitress Destiny.

What a very nice afternoon I experienced at the Tavern on Meridian! My dog Shatzi and I were warmly welcomed to the nice dog-friendly patio, with a bowl of water being brought out immediately for Shatzi. I love that there is a daily happy hour, plus a canine menu! Shatzi enjoyed a yummy burger patty (cut up in small pieces), as well as a homemade dog biscuit (partial proceeds for the biscuit go to local animal charities). I enjoyed the shrimp sushi hand roll and the spicy dill chicken wings, which were a very generous portion (I needed a to-go-box). My server Janay provided top-notch service and was always making sure that Shatzi and I were taken care of. If you're looking for a place with good drinks and food at a reasonable price, great customer service, and friendly vibes, look no further than the Tavern on Meridian. Shatzi and I'll definitely be back!

They have a pretty good selection of beers and of liquors (I presume wine, too, but I didn't check). While there are "bourbon bars" with a wider bourbon selection or "gin bars" with a wider gin selection, they have an above average selection of each, and they don't charge absurd up charges for choosing the liquor you like. The bartender is very polite. There's ample seating at the bar, and you can also take your drink to some loungy-er chairs in the nearby part of the hotel lobby. All in all, a solid bar.

You walk in and the bar is to your right. It was about 6 and no one was at the bar. There was a group of guys discussing something over drinks in the lounge area but that was about it. The bartender came right up to my boyfriend and I. I told the bartender my boyfriend had never been to Texas so we tried out essentially every tap by sampling which was nice that he offered that up. After we tried each beer we decided on some options. The bartender went back to texting in the corner and we sat at the bar listening to the music playing in the open concept lobby/bar area We eventually took over the seating area that group was in because the couches looked more cozy than the bar. The happy hour advertised is not a thing anymore, they now have reverse happy hour from 9-10. The beers weren't too expensive as our tab was only $13 which I doable. The bartender disappeared from the bar for a fair amount of time which made me anxious because I used to be a bartender, I guess he trusted we wouldn't leave without paying. He didnt come check on us to see if we needed another beer but that was ok I guess. I went back up to the bar to cash out and that was that. This bar is good for a quick drink but I wouldn't probably go for a top notch bar experience.

This…read morearea has become of gem of a location in DFW for dining, and Monaco brings a truly elevated and upscale experience to the area. This is my updated review. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian cuisine on Main Street!…read more We stopped by Karma and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

The Himalayan thali was the highlight naan so soft it felt like clouds, and lentil curry that carried deep, cozy flavors. The chowmein with lamb and chicken had that smoky stir-fry kick, and the momos were a joy to try. The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Altogether, the mix of food, drinks, and atmosphere made the evening memorable in its own way.

Service rhythm was good. However, everyone at the table was from Louisiana and the server couldn't tell us what was used in the "Cajun" spices on the French Chicken. After checking with the kitchen, she came back and said pepper and other Cajun...stuff. You'd think that would be a basic training lesson and menu knowledge you'd have to grasp before being given a section. Don't put vague descriptions in print if your staff can't break them down when the guest asks questions. On a side note, I know for a fact that this company requires all their managers to be clean shaven. Yet, I saw a cook/chef with a fairly thick, quasi-biker beard working the line in an open kitchen in clear view of guests. Kind of ironic. I'd rather the dude making my food be clean shaven for obvious reasons. Unlikely that I return.
