Quite a cool place. Live music on the weekends. Menu is small and pricey but the options are decent enough. The pool is right behind us and Saturdays they have movie night at the pool. The s'mores cigar on the dessert menu looks cool but I don't recommend it because it tastes like a s'mores that got dropped in the fire pit. Service is nice and I would definitely recommend this place. Get there before 5 if you can do that you can basically have your pick of seating. read more

I recently put together a fun team Happy Hour at the Outlaw Taproom. Everyone had a great time. We ordered wings, fries, guacamole, tacos and several cocktails. I'm happy I was able to expense the bill because this place is pricey. Cocktails are nearly $20 each! Understandable I guess considering this is the Four Seasons bar. Space is limited inside with a few tables, a couple love seats and plush chairs. They also have a pool table. It was probably 40 degrees that evening. My group was a little hesitant to sit outdoors initially, but we were seated in a section with a fireplace. That definitely helped. It was actually very comfortable. They have live music Thursday through Saturday and occasionally host private events & wedding receptions. Call ahead to make sure space is available. I highly recommend for a nice cocktail after work, especially if it's on the company dime :-D read more

I checked this place out during their Dia De Los Muertos event and was pleasantly surprised by their cocktails! They were running $7 specials and all the drinks I tried were delicious! I did see that regular prices were approximately $14. I don't think I would come here unless it was for Happy Hour or for a special event where they have discounted prices. Their drinks are excellent, but I wouldn't pay regular price for them. If I was going to pay $14 for a cocktail, I know other places that have better drinks at that price point. We sat outside and I found the patio area comfortable and relaxing. It was a chilly evening and the outdoor firepits definitely helped to keep people warm. Outdoor heaters were also available if it was needed. Since there was a special event, they even had a live band! Drinks and music! Love it! If you want to check this place out, as I mentioned earlier, I would come during their Happy Hour or if a special event was going on so that you can get discounted prices. I think the patio area is a nice attraction where you can kick back, have a few drinks, and hang out with friends. read more

Hands down the slowest service I have ever seen. I thought maybe it was a fluke so we went again. They take your drink order and about 1/2 hour later they return to tell you they don't have what you ordered. Take another order and then you wait another 1/2 hour. After that you never see them again. Out of desperation you go straight to the bar figuring you will speed up the process. But think again, 1 hour later you get your over-cooked appetizers. With some tweaks they could really improve this space at the hotel. Ate here twice for dinner during a recent stay. Burgers were great, wings and tacos gave me and my co-worker upset stomachs. The layout needs adjustment bigtime. Oddly placed tables and random sofas. TV screens are not strategically placed and there is too much dead, unlit floor space. Face it, Dallas is a major sports town and most of the guests at the hotel are red blooded men. Please re-design this diamond in the rough bar and just go full sports bar with more screens and tables for 4. read more

I visited the Outlaw Taproom for their VIP Grand Opening hosted by D Magazine. What a wonderful venue! Located on one side of the Four Seasons Hotel in Irving, it is a cozy bar that manages to capture that rugged Texas feel quite nicely. Patio doors open out onto an awesome covered, yet spacious area, with stairs leading down to the pool. An amazing rustic fireplace roars intensely on one end, surrounded by a comfy living room-like area with couches and chairs to relax in. And if you cannot get too close to the fire, have no fear! Heat lamps embedded in the ceiling beam down on you like sunshine, and will keep you toasty! Drinks and bites were complimentary this time around, so I'll recap my experience and what I tasted. First, let me say the staff and service was amazing! Considering it was a free event, everyone was extremely pleasant and welcoming. We were never without a drink for too long. So let's talk about the DRINKS! Hand-crafted cocktails with a twist! We had the Kickin' Texas Bucks - Tito's, Ginger Beer, Lime, and Mint is the base, to which you can add sweet, floral, spice, hot, or fruity. We got the HOT - Chile. It tastes like a shot of fire with every sip. If you love the hot pepper flavor in your drinks then this is the one for you! We also had the mules which were good, not any different from a mule you would get elsewhere. The bar is also fully stocked with a variety of beer, wines, and spirits. And on to the BITES! ~ Loaded Trigger Tots - tater tots lightly covered with brisket, bacon, and apple smoked cheddar - brisket was deliciously tender and I like that there was not too much cheese in there to overpower the tots ~ Venison Corn Dogs - Corn dog lightly floating on a bbq mustard sauce that had just the right blend of sweet and sour - absolutely DELISH! The batter was more like a hush puppy, which is what I though it was until I bit into it and realized there was meat. Not bad ~ Crab deviled Eggs - this was my one disappointment! I love eggs and crab and thought what a great combo. But alas, there was not too much flavor. I would think "deviled" would have a little more spice or kick to it (like the Chile in my drink!) I love the ambiance, and the staff. Will definitely revisit to sample some more items on the menu. Keep in mind it is a bar menu so mostly bar fare, salads, sandwiches/burgers, with two steak options. read more

The wait is long, customer service is terrible, food is gross and to top it off the waiter assumes that you won't notice when he tips himself an extra $75. They take forever. I had to go to the bar and my waiter ignored me (standing behind the bar) and i had to ask the bartender if i could pay my tab. There was an extra charge for a shot that i never ordered but i wasn't going to fuss bc it takes them forever to do anything so i just paid it and left. This is a smaller bar but nicely set up. They have a few tables and chairs and a pool table in the back. It overlooks the pool so you can people watch during the day. There's tons of tv's if you want to watch a game. The bar menu has a mix of items from salads to steak. They can edit anything on the menu to cater to a food allergy if needed. It gets a little busy at night but it's never too packed unless there's an event like the Byron going on. I would definitely recommend stopping in here if staying at the Four Seasons. read more

Tucked away in the luxurious Four Seasons, the newly renovated Bar 19 is a refreshing spot for the traveler and golfer alike. Nicely decorated with good food and great drinks along with the outstanding service one comes to expect from a Four Seasons Resort. My favorite item I have tried is the BBQ Brisket Sliders served with Chipotle Aioli, Pepper Jack Cheese and Horseradish Pickles. The flavors blended nicely! I took my wife here before going elsewhere for dinner on a little belated Valentine's Day date and really enjoyed the Mezcal drink I had. She had an '03 Bonnie & Clyde cocktail and liked that, too. A couple things to note if you're considering going: 1) The taproom is pretty small (although accommodated us fine and it does have a patio as well), and 2) This is a high-end place (obviously, being at the Four Seasons), so be prepared to pay high-end prices. This is a nice intimate, upscale bar tucked away in the gorgeous 4 Seasons Hotel. The bar is posh as expected...tiny, but posh. Service is the best I've ever had at any bar. The bartenders are attentive and friendly here. I love the bar snacks which automatically come to the table. We only had wine and beer, but I'm sure the cocktails are amazing. We also shared a steak quesadilla. It was delicious with tender steak inside a nice warm and crispy tortilla, but it was overpriced. Hey, what do you expect....it is the 4 Seasons after all :-) The atmosphere and service here was well worth the price of that quesadilla. This is a nice place to hang out with a few close friends. The bar is currently undergoing a total revamp. The grand opening of its "new look" is in early October 2016. read more

Cozy on the inside and a great place for winter drinking as it has a large fireplace and a few fire-pits. This would be a good place to bring a date. The fires and whisky spell romance, or at least a drunken frolic. Fire + whisky = my dream date. Nice bartenders and waitstaff, cozy atmosphere, and a fantastic whisky selection. Very cool atmosphere. Unfortunately we got 2 of the same beer even though we ordered 2 different things. We gave the validation ticket to a waiter. He disappeared and forgot about it. After our round of beers, we had to spend another 30 min locating him so could leave. We had a very nice younger waiter that tried to locate him. 45 min later, finally found the originally waiter and he walked by and gave us our ticket like it was nothing, without an apology for wasting our time. It was not a pleasant experience, especially for a four seasons hotel..Only thing that saved this review was the second waiter who tried to make it right. read more

This place has an awesome atmosphere. They however need a schoolingnon customer service. The bartender looked at me and my friends we were peasants, gave us a wrong order and took forever to tab me out. Then when we found a table to sit at, I gave my parking stub to get validated. It took well over 45 min to tmreteieve the stub back. Had another waiter looking for him and he could not find him. That waiter that helped me find his colleague was very nice and sorry for the long wait. When we did rally got our stub back the waiter didn't even acknowledge it he just handed the ticket off with no words said. Rude if you ask me. read more

I was starving and the food wasn't even good, sigh! Landed in Dallas at 10 PM, knowing that there wouldn't be much open at that time of night, I decided to at the bar in the Four Seasons hotel. Maybe my expectations were a bit high? But I was so underwhelmed. Crab Cakes - It was over cooked, dry, and oily. The aioli was over salted. BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich w/ Fries - The meet was cold, but yet the bun was toasted, the cheese was melted. How does that even happen? It was really a BBQ sauce mess. The meet was overly chewy and lack taste. The plethora of BBQ sauce was to mask the brisket? This was the first time I had to past on fries (unheard of), they were beyond over fried. The best thing about the night, was the free wasabi peas and blanched Moroccan Almonds. I came back another night, this time for a drink. At least they got one thing going for them. The drinks were consistent and pretty stiff. Then of course I got the munchies after a few drinks. I was pleasantly surprise the Truffle Fries were good! The flavors were right on and the fries were cooked perfectly. Maybe the truffle oil made them good or maybe the chef the previous night had an off night? Seniors and teens on a Wednesday night. This is a small hotel bar that draws an older crowd due to the golf course. There is no happy hour and everything is pricey. It's the Four Seasons. Beware, Because it's a hotel teenagers are allowed to hang out. In my opinion it's inappropriate. The appetizers were tasty and the drinks were decent. I was looking for a beverage and the closest bar was this and Spirit Grille which allows smoking :-( I immediately chose 19 bar and happy I did. I was extremely happy with the service although not so happy with the top shelf prices. 50 bucks for two shots of Don Julio and two Real Ale pints.
