I've had it with Dickey's BBQ, it's just not a place to go for value. The prices have gone way up, the portions have gone way down. The last 2 times I've ordered takeout I got home to find the $10 sandwiches to have about half the meat they used to. A very tiny side is $3.50 or $3.99. When I eat inside, the ice cream machine is always broken... every .... single ... time. The app is embarrassingly bad. I always have fits with it. Can't believe anyone said "Yes, this is the app we want our customers to use." There used to be deals on the app that would make their meals more affordable, but now they only seem to be for the less popular selections. Today, after sending in the order on my app I went to the drive thru to pick it up. There were 3 cars in front of me. It took almost 20 minutes to get to the window. While visiting family on vacation, I placed a large order for a family gathering for pick up using a promotional code that somehow was reduced when applied to my bill. When we arrived, my brother purchased 2 gallons of tea and was charged until they realized they were out of sweet tea. Thankfully, they refunded him by canceling the transaction. It wasn't until we got to our function that we realized one of our items was missing. I called & asked to speak to the manager and was informed that the manager was not in. Popped in for a sliced beef sandwich, iced tea and cobbler to go. I decided to walk in since a line was forming at the drive thru. I was quickly waited upon, and the staff had my order out in under 3 minutes. Food was packed well and it all tasted great! I really love that when I asked for lemon, I was asked for how many slices I wanted. I'm not one who just garnishes my tea, I squeeze the essence out of each slice. So we filled out another form in case the first email got lost, using a second email address. Still no email with coupon. Not only was she knowledgeable but she was also very personable and attentive. My fiancée and I noticed her treating all her customers in the same fashion, which was all the more impressive considering that the place was pretty busy and she was the only person running the bar.
