In Dallas for one night. We like to visit places on the American Advantage App. After discovering Stickie's Garage Burgers & Brews down the street was closed we pivoted here. BIG MISTAKE! Arrived at 4:30pm and the place was empty. Meats were all sitting out on the counter top. Sides looking crusty. We tried the brisket & turkey sandwiches with mac n cheese. Everything was cold. Interior appeared run down. Bathroom was dirty with hand prints on stall walls. Would not recommend this location. Hoping we don't get sick from room temperature food.

Good pulled pork ! The brisket is on the dry side. I did enjoy the cheese inside of the sausage, a nice surprise for me since someone else in the family ordered it! We ordered several pounds of each for a family get together. Potato salad and Macaroni cheese was good nothing different. Not sure how the cost compares to other BBQ take out, but I felt it was above average value for the money.

This is what $20 gets you at Dickie's barbecue . Two med sides for almost $20 . I know prices have gone up, but this is ridiculous and greedy.

I work down the street and was tired of the chicken xpress and Dairy Queen options on this intersection. I pulled up to Dickies and got me the tried and true #1 chopped brisket sandwich combo with bbq beans and a drink. At $13 with taxes, the price point is steep but it's a place I may frequent every other week on payday lol. Or if I bring lunch consecutive days and need some fast food bbq. Yes there is Hard Eight down the road, but with a 30 min lunch break this is a more plausible option. **Ask for extra BBQ sauce

Baked potato plain with chicken with no green onions cheese and bacon. Yucky. Potato taste old.

The food is terrible! Old baked potato. Not fresh potato. Never go back again. There is a picture of it.

I really have been craving bbq since ive been in TX for 6 weeks. I probably should've waited until I got back to NC. The food was ok. I never order on Uber Eats and expect the food to be pipping hot/super extravagant. The meats weren't dry despite the way the picture may look. I was thrown off by the fact that the ribs did not have bbq on it. I had to add my own bbq to everything which was the first i've ever had to do so. The sides overall just werent good unfortunately. But I would be interested in trying it at the actual location one day

I have been coming to this Dickey's off and on for four years now. Always for lunch. They recently remodeled the place and it looks amazing. The service is as spectacular as usual. People say this is just average barbecue. I beg to differ. I will offer that this is good barbecue with a great selection of sides for an amazing price. Today the manager's special was brisket, sausage, and ribs for $10.49. Pick two sides and add whatever else you want. Between the remodeling job and the good food - this makes for a great lunch spot.

Food was great and so was the service. Not crazy busy during Saturday but I always try to eat outside of lunch or dinner rushes. Rolls tasty dipped in the sauce!

There are multiple budget hotels in the area and the only food choices within reasonable walking distance are Denny's, gas stations and an outdoor food shed at another motel. There is a well curated list of local craft beers (8). Make a point to ask for the separate alternative "healthy menu". The food on that menu is very different from the comfort food on the main menu and it is available in half orders. I tried a half order of chicken and avocado arepas and a half order of tuna tataki. Both were delicious and visually pleasing. Staff is attentive, engaged but not intrusive. Prices for these two items were $8 each, very reasonable.

This includes a few nights at the bar and 2 nights in my room. The staff was never overly inviting but they were usually busy with a demanding crowd of hotel guests. Ordering through the Marriott app looked like a great option but it wouldn't work once they asked you how you'd like to pay. When you go downstairs and scan their QR code, it brings you to the same interface but on a website rather than an app, and that worked fine. The chicken wrap with fries was pretty good and was my go to. The house salad wasn't great and I wouldn't try it again. The half order of the tuna was decent but I loved the pickled veggies under them and would have just had a bowl of those! I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but having this inside your hotel for convenience is nice.

The space is large, comfortable, and full of life, even on a Wednesday evening. There are cozy sofa corners if you want something a little more intimate, plus an outdoor area that's "outside"... but not too outside, which honestly feels like a win. Drinks were a highlight. My boulevardier was spot on, and then I shared a smoked Old Fashioned with my friend that was just... exquisite. Smooth, balanced, and a little dramatic in the best way. Food held its own. The chicken and waffles were delicious, the chopped chicken salad was fresh and satisfying, and my friend's Reuben got a lot of love from her side of the table. And then came dessert. We shared the Whiskey Cake with praline ice cream, and let's just say, it lives up to the name. Decadent, rich, and absolutely worth it. Service was really good. Attentive without hovering, and thoughtful in those small ways that stand out. At one point, our server split the Old Fashioned for us without us even asking. That kind of anticipation earns points. This is the kind of place you return to when you're back in town. Comfortable, reliable, and just indulgent enough to feel like a treat.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.
