I've visited this salon numerous times and have usually had a fairly positive experience. Unfortunately, today was not one of those occasions, as the staff seemed to be in a rush to close. Their posted closing time is 7:30 PM, and I arrived around 6:30 PM for a pedicure, knowing it was too late to add nails. Since discovering Russian mani/pedi techniques, I don't come here as often, usually only when my preferred tech is unavailable. I wish I had been informed if they were closing early today, as I ended up feeling rushed. The technician pulled quite hard on my feet, and one toenail was over-drilled, which is still literally burning as I write this. A second technician took over for the gel application and let me know we would be locked in as the others left. I'm unsure if I'll return in the near future and will likely wait until my usual Russian technician is available again. read more

I was so excited to find a nail salon close to where I live, but I unfortunately will not be coming back. The woman doing my nails hurt me with the dremel and while filing and it appeared that she was trying to go as fast as possible. I ended up with my nails hurting, bumpy polish, and feeling like I was a mannequin with how my hands were just grabbed and dunked into and out of bowls. I won't be returning. read more

I came in for a full set as a walk-in. When I arrived, there were 2 ladies working. I asked if they had time for a full set and was told yes. Then they started talking to each other in Vietnamese, please keep in mind I'm also Vietnamese and understood everything they were saying. The main lady wanted to hand me to the new worker telling her to practice on me. She refused because she didn't want to do someone's nails my age because people my age are difficult. So they agreed the main person would do my nails. I sit down and showed them what I wanted. It was solid back, white polish on the ring fingers and one nail (middle) that had gold glitter. Then they started talking to each other again in Vietnamese saying "people like her are going to change their minds and choose a different color so don't trust what she says." I ignored those comments and waited quietly as she cleaned and used the restroom (about 10 minutes). She then went to the back to look for the nail polish and came back informing me that she didn't have it. So I told her it's okay I'll just do a plain white polish, no glitter or black to make things easier. She then looks at the other lady and said in Vietnamese, "see, what did I tell you! She was going to change her mind before I even started. The other person responded and said "wow, you were right, I can't believe people are like that, so rude!" That's when I got up out of my seat and started speaking Vietnamese back and told them I am leaving and how dare they say make those comments when they're the ones that didn't have the polish in stock. The look on their faces were priceless and they said sorry the didn't know. I'm honestly disgusted how they could say such rude things without thinking twice. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I couldn't after the 3rd rude comment. Their customer service is horrible, they are not professional and yes when they are speakIng Vietnamese, their probably talking about you from my own personal experience. But I read the reviews to this place and I read a lot about Linda. She was the nail tech that did my fill and she was very detailed to her work. Wow I thought some of these reviews may be over exaggerating but oh my gosh did I have the worst experience. First, when I came in with my bf they told us it would be a 20 minute wait which is fine (preface I came here with my mom and we were sat immediately so it was a bit awkward to not have that same service). After waiting for 20 minutes, no one asked me what I wanted, my nail tech spoke very little English, I was always taught to tell the tech what you want ahead of time before they start, because she wasn't a fluent English speaker this made the process very difficult ( I feel like I was talking to a wall anytime I was communicating exactly what I wanted because every place I've been to will do exactly what you ask but apparently not here). I also told her specifically what I wanted and explaining that I wanted chrome nails which apparently "they didn't have" in her words (had to get on google to show her since language barrier made it impossible to get anywhere). This was a disaster. I was cut 4 different time with red marks on both of my ring fingers, she filed my nails down to practically nothing (I asked for medium length not too short please I thought that would be respected). I thought it was weird no one gave me those color wheels so I can tell her what I want she had absolutely no idea what I was asking for and it was just awkward and not a fun time which pampering always should be. She finishes doing the acrylic portion I take a look at my nails and I didn't want to be mean (they were filed down to practically my actual nail size and they all looked wonky and uneven af). So when it came time to show her what I wanted I had to communicate and ask several times to make sure I got what I wanted, no where near did I get what I asked for. The man idk who he is if he's like a co owner tells me I have to show her what I want even though I already did, he brings a basket of the chrome powders and that's where disaster took place. No one helped me like they usually do to help pick what would look good on top of a red color and the powder I picked looked so effing ugly I wanted to ask her to completely take off my entire set and walk out. I am a very kind and patient person I hate to tell people that they didn't do it right or that it's ugly but this was horrendous (the guy did say the powder makes the nail turn out darker I asked him what would he recommend and he ignored me, I could feel tears starting to form I was so upset). She continued this hack job, I stopped her and told her I would rather just leave my other hand alone and she said why? (Maybe because you completely steered me in the wrong direction and gave me no perspective or even remotely tried to match what I showed you). I was so upset at this point, she decided to smack glitter on my other hand and halfway through the curing and everything I asked if maybe I could just have them red again and to redo the other hand to just match and she ignored me and just smacked glitter on the hack job chrome nails I asked for). No guidance, no care, no attention, no patience no sympathy no nothing. I reminded her I wanted nail art on one of my fingers on each hand and she ignored me and told me "next time" wtf?? I'm paying for rn not next time. So she continues to paint my nail black and sticks halloween stickers as a solution to not getting nail art??? (I got the same design done here 2 months ago mind you and they were perfect). So yea this atrocity cost me $70 plus tip and it is by far the worst set I've ever gotten. I'm not coming back here and you lost me as a customer (I let my mom know and we're not returning to your establishment). Screw you for screwing others out of money terrible place. 0/5. read more

I been coming to Diamond Nails for a while now but I I learned the hard way that putting nails for so many years your body will react, so I stopped wearing acrylics. I moved states and I'm currently visiting Wa, I been here to get shellac done on my nails since is the only thing I can do. The two times that I have been here for the shellac has been amazing. Each time I had someone new and always left happy with my nails. I don't remember much about how well they do the acrylics but reading from the reviews I guess you can answer yourself but if you want shellac I totally recommended it they do an amazing job plus they have a good range of colors too. :) read more

I came in to do arcylic nails and 7 of my nails literally came off 4 days later. I called them to either get a refund or to Redo my nails. on the phone , they said ok you can come in, we will fix it. Come in Saturday and we will put your nails back on. So sad. I moved to the south side a couple years ago and have been in search of a consistently decent place in the area since. I thought I'd found one here due to the positive review. Started to see one lady who did a consistently good job on my hands and feet and went to her 4-5 times over the course of 6 months even though there are several places much closer to me. Then in September I called to schedule an appointment with her. First time I called (on Tuesday), I told the lady I wanted to schedule a mani/pedi with J for Thursday evening and the lady replied "Uhh, J no work today" so I clarified with her it was for Thursday. The lady asked what time and I said 6:00 and she said J couldn't until 6:30. Told her I needed to check my schedule and call back. A few minutes later, I called and with the same lady said I wanted to schedule a mani/pedi with J on Thursday at 6:30 and the woman said (AGAIN) "Uhh, J no work today." No joke. Had to go through that all over again. Finally got it through to her and she told me if I could come in at 6:45 it would be better, so I agreed. On Thursday, I got home from work and despite it being a busy week for me (had a party to prepare for the weekend) got home, ate dinner, then went to my appointment. When I arrived, they were cleaning up and I told J I had an appointment with her at 6:45. Her reply was "Oh, well we were slow tonight so we want to close early. Can you come back tomorrow?" Mind you, I just planned my evening around this and drove 15 minutes to this appointment. I could have been out running errands and getting things done. I had a party to prepare for the following evening, the party on Saturday, and just did not have the time, which is why I scheduled an appointment. I told her to not worry about it and haven't returned. So my search for a consistently good place close to home continues. read more

I was a regular here for about 2 years and every time I went in there, the attitudes were worse. Get this, I got my nails done every two-three weeks and my moms nails done every other visit. With that being said, my mom and I got a pedicure once a month and I got my eyebrows every three weeks. That's a lot of money right? Not adding the 20$ tip I gave them every single time. Mia, one of the owners, was the only one that did my nails. It came down to watching another regular being treated happily with nothing but laughs and smiles, then I sit down she instantly became pissy and rude. Couldn't even have a conversation with her. Worst service and quality I've had in a long time. They over charge for the basic bull they offer. Money hungry definitely. When your nails lift around the edges or slightly on the inside where your finger nail ends (because of the insanely cheap bonder they use) they will literally try to rip off your entire acrylic nail (with no care for you nailbed) instead of doing what GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL techs do, and file it away. Then they will throw you attitude because you told them not to rip a nail off and give you a sh**y paint job! All of my nails are uneven in layers (I even complained about it and she ignored me). And not even 2 days later one of my nails have cracked due to lack of insanely cheap acrylic powder they use. I went to get my 3yo a clear coat and they kept tryna talk me into putting flowers on her nails. Literally asked me, LEGIT 5 times. Then proceeded to ask her as if I didn't say no. I used to come here more often. They have a nice selection of colors but my acrylic always seemed to lift and I got my finger cut really bad once. I also bought my mom a gift certificate for a mani/pedi but since my mom doesn't get her nails done very often, by the time she went to use it they told her it's expired. Really ghetto here. I came in for a full set with a bridal party and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. A bridesmaid also complained that she suffered a fungus from their equipment. They were very rude and pushy, and it was obvious they were gossiping about clients that came in. The owner, an asian man, was arguing with another client because he made her nail bleed. $20 for a gel manicure seems pretty affordable, right? Trust me, the manicure I got here was not worth it, even for the price. My nails had almost completely peeled off a week after getting them done here, now they're flaky and brittle. On top of that, the service I had here was awful.
